Amazing experience at this location. Top notch service from front desk, nurses(?), the doctor, and the eye glasses team.

I have been a customer for years but this will be my last time here. I broke my glasses 3 weeks ago and went here for a prescription and new glasses. I was told it shouldn't be more than a week on the glasses. 7 business days later couldn't reach anyone on the phone to confirm they were ready despite calling 3-4 times. I went into the office and was told they just received the frames and it should only take a day to put the lenses in. 3 days later I still hadn't heard back so I called and managed to get hold of someone.

This person told me they just received the glasses and they had to go through some sort of QA process and it would be another business day. They're not open over the weekend so it's another 3 days from my point of view. I don't appreciate being given the run-around and will be taking by business elsewhere going forward.

I experienced a wonderful time during my eye exam and selection of new eyeglasses. Doctor Surkamp was very professional and meticulous in his exam. Rita was also very professional. Overall, I am very satisfied with my services. I would reccomend this location to any of my friends and associates.

I honestly can't remember the name of the people I saw. But each person was very nice and professional from check in to the intitial exam to the doctors exam to the check out. I had no long waits. Everything was explained to me as they did it. Doctor was available for all my questions. Great experience.

Dr. Thompson is my SAVIOR. I had something stuck in my eye and I am TERRIBLY squeamish when it comes to eye stuff. I was so freaked out but she, her assistants, and the whole staff made me feel at ease. They got me in immediately and fixed my eye right up. Dr. Thompson was so nice, honest, efficient, caring, and just an overall superstar. (She even laughed at my jokes which I truly appreciate.) THANK YOU ACCESS EYE FOR RESTORING MY FAITH IN DOCTORS AND FOR SAVING MY CORNEA.

My annual eye appointment was painless to make and handled all online. Arriving at the facility, they take COVID-19 protocols very seriously, I greatly appreciated it. The front receptionist Jessica was friendly and professional. Tina, the assistant, who takes you back, looks at your glasses and previous prescriptions, does the initial eye exam and the glaucoma prep was very professional, knowledgeable, cleaning after I left the room to meet Dr. Thompson.

This was the first. time meeting with Dr. Thompson. She went over my eye history and made sure I understood the changes in eyes. She was very thorough in her exam and I felt that I was given the time allotted in receiving an annual eye exam. Shantique is very knowledgeable, professional and helpful when you pick out your frames to fit your face and to ensure that the lenses will indeed fit.

She looks up your vision insurance policy while guiding you with the most cost effective frames and lenses type to suit the need and to ensure that the glasses you will be wearing will last. The building was very clean and everyone ensured their safety as well as the patients safety, which is paramount in this time. Wait time was over 30 minutes, but sitting in my car not having to worry about people coming in and out while waiting inside was a relief for me.

This was my initial appointment with this provider after having been seen by a previous provider for a number of years due to a change in my Medicare plan. I was seen for an annual diabetic eye exam, and was extremely impressed with the practice and it's services. Everyone I encountered was extremely friendly and professional. I would like to note that the tech, Tim, who worked with me was especially through and made a procedure which could be daunting very pleasant. I would whole heartedly recommend the provider.

My husband and I love the entire staff at this location. Everyone is personable, nice and professional. We have had different people every time and are extremely happy with the care and service we receive at all aspects of our visit. The women who have helped us pick our glasses are awesome and have never steered us wrong picking glasses.

I haven't been to a lot of eye doctor appointments, but this one was as good as I could hope for. The technician, Sheree, was very knowledgeable, professional, and made the experience as positive as possible. The staff at the front desk was also very helpful. Overall, this was a good experience.

The service here was awesome from the time you walk in at the receptionist desk to see the practitioner, then the doctor, and lastly with the kind person that assisted us in finding our glasses. Their Covid procedure was also great ensuring you don't have to come in contact with anymore people than you have to. Dr. Thompson was very knowledgeable! The practitioner and doctor were great with my children. I am going to recommend everyone to come here.

I called to make a regular appointment back back in July. The day I was scheduled to go a dangerous storm came up and I found it unsafe to travel. I called them the next day and they said I could set another appointment. At that time I was informed that Dr. Coleman had retired and I was seeing another doctor and they no longer took my eye care insurance.

When I made my first appointment I was never told that he retired and I was given a new doctor. I told them how disappointed I was that I was not given a choice and they had no right to just assign me a new doctor without allowing me the privilege of doing my research. If you were a fan of Dr. Coleman you should probably find another doctor that you are satisfied with before making your next appointment. Now I have to pay a $50.00 for a no show fee. These people are just taking advantage of their patrons!

Would not recommend this location at all. The front desk and person helping with finding glasses is the worst. Ive been calling with the promise to receive a call back every time ive called for the past 3 weeks. No1 has reached put and when i call no1 seems to know what is going on. Now with the virus going on its even harder and I'm just frustrated.

This is for a case that I was supposed to receive when i bought my glasses and have received nothing but the runaround. Please check your cases when you receive your eyewear. They will give you a off brand case to not match the brand of glasses you've paid for. So distasteful! Update: 4-13-2020 I was never told that the glasses would not come with the case they were sent with.

If i was - I wouldn't have been asking for them nor would I have wasted my times 3 weeks before this pandemic came about. However, once i called for the case the lady said that they were discounted due to there only being two pair left and case should come with them but she couldn't find in office but would need to check warehouse. So not sure why you feel you know what was discussed when I never even spoke with you EVER!

My purchase was way before this pandemic and I've been given not so good customer service. No communication within your office.,I received multiple calls from people stating different things. Yes we are going through pandemic now but your office had almost a month to get it right before this. I will try to find my receipt or statement to validate this claim.

You are unprofessional and there is no excuse. I will gladly find a practice that is communicative and treat their customers with integrity instead of not resolving the issue way before this virus came about. I hope all potential clients read your post for what it is and see that no business should try to make the customer feel as if their claim is unjustifiable.

I've gone to other access eye locations and it was a world of difference compared to this location. The doctor was in such a rush that she didn't even introduce herself and went straight for my eye. I still don't know her name since she was in the room for mere minutes. The receptionist was rude since I didn't have the back of my insurance card since it was a same day appointment, and I wasn't made aware that I needed to bring anything.

The person that set up the appointment had already verified my insurance over the phone. She was persistent about having something physical so she could scan in. And I understand that it is their policy. But she was still pushy when I explained that I can pull up the information on my phone. She insisted on having a physical copy. Lady, you know that I don't have it and I can't make one magically appear.

She even went into the room as I was being examined by the very nice nurse to ask for it again. That is unacceptable; you don't walk in when someone is having a medical procedure so I don't know why she thought it was ok to do this. At this point I didn't even have time to fill out my forms because everyone was rushing me through all the processes.

I barely sat down for 2 minutes before I was asked to move into the exam room and didn't have time to pull the information into my phone. I can't imagine how this office will treat people when they don't have insurance. About 1.5 hours later when I picked up my prescription, I learned that the doctor never sent it to the pharmacy and had to call them again to get it to go through.

My wife scratched her cornea, and was given a contact lens to cover the injury. At two follow up visits, we were charged $124.00 each time to "remove foreign object from eye" on top of all other charges for the follow up. When I called to discuss the fact that she never had a foreign object in her eye, I was informed that the charge was to pop the contact lens out. I take my contact lenses out every night, and it's not a procedure that should be charged for at all, let alone $124.

Dr. Tracy Dzibela is terrific. I've had more than my share of eye infections during this past year, so I've been to see her a couple of times. She is very personable and thorough in her examinations. She is also very knowledgeable, and I feel comfortable being in her care. Also, the technician who saw me first, Robert, was great as well.

I had no trouble getting an appointment to see her, and I didn't wait long at all after my arrival at the office to be seen. My past visits worked out the same way, efficiently. I highly recommend Dr. Dzibela and staff at Access Eye. E.Scarborough

I was able to make an appointment on short notice. I was seen with a brief wait time and the doctor did a great job assessing my eyes and telling me what was going on. I also received very specific instructions about follow up. This was very reassuring.

Took $167.00 charge from our card. Didn't call when the the order was cancelled. When we finally called to see when glasses would be ready, they said it was cancelled. Asking where our money was they said it was refunded. Now still not having money refunded we went in person to find out they will take 2-3 wks to "START" the process of refunding our money.

They didn't give us 2-3 weeks to pay them. And they have nothing in writing that says refunds will take a month and be by check. What if we didn't have checking account? Poor, poor customer services and extremely disappointed in their service and pricing. The SAME Chinese frames are at Walmart for a fraction of the cost.

I visited twice, one for an issue I was having and the other was a follow up. Didn't have a great experience, the staff was very kind and friendly however, Dr. Deas was curt and condescending. I left from there thinking maybe she was having a bad day. The follow up visit was no better. She seemed irritated and rushed like I was an idiot and the issues I was having were no big deal. I left there very disappointed with no answers and a coupon for some eye drops.

Beware. They don't deserve even one star! My 78 year old mother went to Access Eye for new glasses. It was a horrible experience to say the least! She was given a new prescription May 5 at which time she was also told she had the very beginning of cateracts. The doctor said it was too early to be concerned and that they should not cause any problems yet.

Because her insurance doesn't cover her vision she has to pay cash for the exam and glasses. She chose to use her old frames and was going to buy lenses only, for two pair ($936 plus the eye exam.) When her glasses came in she told them immediately she could not see. They told her it was a stronger prescription and she needed to get used to them.

She returned shortly within a couple days and the technician adjusted them and again told her to get used to them. She went back again and insisted they recheck the prescription, upon which she was given a second exam by a different doctor who wrote a totally different prescription. When those lenses came in she still could not see and there was a very blurry spot in one lense.

The technician told her the blurry spot was because her cateract must have gotten worse and insisted she try them for a couple days and come in for a second cateract exam. My mother began to get frustrated and asked to see the office manager to ask for a full refund. At this point I had to get involved and advocate for my mother because they were insisting the blurry vision was cateract related.

This was ridiculous because she had no other symptoms whatsoever other than a blurry spot on one lense which went away when she took the glasses off! We spoke first to Lisa, the office manager who said her boss wanted my mom to come in and have a complete cateract exam again because they were certain that was the problem. Because at this point (now the first week of July.her initial appointment was the first week of May, my mom was very upset and becoming extremely stressed over not being able to see clearly for nearly eight weeks!

I called on her behalf and spoke to Michelle the co owner, who said because my mom was difficult and argumentative she was going to give her a refund. My mom went to another eye doctor who confirmed that indeed her prescription was not correct and that she was not in any way being affected by the cateract at this time! When my mom went to pick up the refund from Access Eye they included a letter saying they would no longer see her as a patient and all future appointments would be canceled.

That letter was the last straw for me, so I am going to make sure I share this experience of how disrespectfully my mother was treated by Access Eye! Interestingly enough I have discovered that a neighbor had a very similar experience with them. My next letter will be to the Better Business Bureau. BEWARE!

This is the worst office i've ever been to! I purchased new glasses from there and after a few weeks noticed I was constantly feeling really dizzy. I went back to see Dr. Deas to see if maybe it was my prescription, or if maybe something more serious, and she was so rude when I was explaining what was wrong with me. She was super offensive as if I was blaming her for my dizziness! I'm a dental assistant and I would NEVER make a patient feel the way she made me feel. It's just not right! This office doesn't even deserve one star. I will not be going back and would never recommend this office to anyone!

Awful Awful Awful! The physician was rude, the service felt rushed, and the tech insulted me. I will never return. As a nurse I know what to expect from professionals in my field of work and then was behind the lowest I've ever encountered at this particular office. Reaponse to Manager Thanks Michelle for looking into my complaints. It's greatly appreciated. 1.

I personally didn't see the looks from the attendant but my daughter l did and I'm not sure why she would have to tell a story about that, maybe you didn't look at the right camera. 2. The physicians delivery was poor when advising me of her recommendations. I am also in the medical field and would never use that condescending tone with any of my patients.

When I advised her of a particular eye drop that my former optometrist had prescribed at a previous appointment she spoke over me and stated that it was an over the counter medication, as a licensed nurse myself I know for a fact that it wasn't. She's rude and that I know for a fact. 3. The technician was trying to get her commission, I was trying to get the basic pair of glasses for my 10 year old, no she doesn't need blue ray lenses or transitioning lenses, I advised her several times just the basic and she still tried to upsell me. She's 10 and I didn't want to spend a lot for her glasses which happened to be a light prescription.

She had made such a bad impression that we never even got to quote my purchase of contacts and lenses for my glasses which in fact would have cost a Pretty plenty. After advising her that I didn't want to use any of the services and that I would just pay my copay for the exam and take my prescription to Lens Crafters ( where I've been going for years) she then advised me that Lens Crafters didn't take my VSP insurance.

Well after the service I was given I would've paid out of pocket no matter the price. I went on to Lens Crafters and purchased glasses for my daughter, had my lenses installed in my frames, and also purchased a pair of Michael Kors sunglasses as well and my VSP insurance was applied to my purchase at the time of sale. The best $286 I've spent that came along with great service and a smile.

By the looks of it, I am not the only one who's had some customer service issues at this location. Sounds like some updated customer service training might be necessary.

Dr. Mansouri has been my primary Ophthalmologist at Access Eye Center. I recently was evaluated for cataract eye surgery on both eyes. During the extensive exam, Dr. Mansouri and his team of professionals completed several exams over several hours to ensure I was a candidate and my eyes were healthy enough to endure the procedure. Dr. Mansouri went over every and every detail prior to my surgical procedure.

The Surgerical Coordinator, Cathy, set up all of the surgery dates and follow-up dates before you leave the office. The entire staff are true professionals and are very kind and polite! I highly recommend Dr. Mansouri and his team! My world is brighter and sharper because of him! Thank you very much Dr. Mansouri!

I visited Access Eye - Cambridge today as a new patient as was very disappointed by the customer service that I received. To start, I made my appointment by phone a week prior and was told that it was at the office located on Rt. 1. I did not receive an email or any confirmation regarding the office location or doctor's name after the appointment was made by phone.

I did receive complimentary text messages that reminded me of the appointment time. I arrived on time for my appointment, but learned that it was actually at another Access Eye location. The receptionist directed me to travel further down Rt. 1 to the Falmouth location. The receptionist at the Stafford Rt. 1 location also told me that she would call them to share that I was on my way to the other office and shared that it was about 8 minutes away.

This was not the case at all.the distance was more like 8 miles and the Falmouth office as not notified that I was on my way. As a new Stafford Co. resident, I had no idea of the distance between the two offices. I also did not know that my delayed arrival to the Falmouth office would put me beyond the 15 minute grace period for late arrivals. If that were the case, I would have saved my time and gas for the additional trip to the Falmouth office.

I arrived to the next office 20 minutes late after calling Access Eye during my drive over in order to verify the address and stating the patient's name and appointment time. Clearly, I was en route to the location. I arrived to learn that the pediatric optometrist has already left for lunch. I arrived at 12:20 - 5 minutes beyond the late window.

The receptionist apologized and offered to reschedule me for another day as there were no additional appointments. I was furious! As a business with more than one location, it would have been helpful to receive any of the following: 1) A confirmation email after the appointment was made by phone. The confirmation email should have included the office location, doctor's name and listed the late or cancellation policy as well. 2) Including the office location in the confirmation text message instead of listing the location as simply, "Access Eye" After speaking with the Falmouth receptionist and manager about my disappointment, they assured me that they would improve their communications during the patient scheduling process.

I have no desire to return to any Access Eye location as a patient. As a mother of a small child who took leave from work for the eye appointment, I would have appreciated a little bit of empathy or someone asking me-"how can we make this right for you" instead of hearing, "I'm sorry, would you like to reschedule." I ended up taking my daughter as a walk-in to the Optometrist at Wal-Mart that same day. Access Eye did not meet my expectations as a new patient.

My wife and I've been patients for many years and have always received the highest level of care.both of us have gotten quick access to their doctors in emergency situations. They are not afraid to make referrals when specialized expertise is necessary.for example, they referred my wife to a specialist in Richmond for an eye lens replacement and the surgery went very well.

Horrible experience. This was my 2nd time at Access Eye (1st at this location) I thought it would be a better experience than my 1st but it was just as bad or worse! Customer service is horrible everyone was rude. I put in the contacts the Dr. Gave me and told her they hurt. She snappes at me and said "take them out, wash them and put them back in." I told her I did and she said "well do it again." Finally she gave me a new pair after looking at my red eye because the lense was torn. I wish I never went there, such a horrible experience. I do not recommend going to any of the locations

This is the third or fourth local vision center that I have tried outside of the military/PX channels - and I think they are hands down the best by far! Yeah, you can probably get cheaper, but when it comes to your vision, cheaper is not necessarily better. Matter of fact, it's usually just cheap. It's like wearing a cheap pair of shoes when you have to be on your feet all day. I've been wearing glasses since I was a kid; headaches and eyestrain are just not fun.

And now that I have to look at a glowing monitor more times than not, and peer over my students' shoulders trying to figure out just how the heck they came up with THAT answer - well, I need glasses that are going to do the job right the first time I leave the office with them. And I need the customer service that takes into account how I am using (or abusing!) my glasses to help keep me straight. Darlene, Katelyn (or is it Caitlin? Ouch!) and Company have always been so welcoming and patient. I'm not a stylish or trendy dude by any means, but I have always had the hardest time and often the worst luck picking out frames.

It really became a chore. I always wound up with buyer's remorse a week or so later. But on my first visit, Darlene looked over the few I had chosen in my hand, listened to me babble on about what I thought I wanted, came back with a couple of other suggestions, and methodically and patiently narrowed everything down to just two pairs of frames.

I bought them both, and my favorite is the one she had first suggested. Their testing is thorough. They actually talk to you to find out what kind of needs you have based upon what you do. And the after-purchase care is so refreshing. All I can say is as long as I'm in this area, I'll be coming here first. True, I'll still use my military bennies here and there (after all they don't do motorcycle googles here!), but these folks really are the best. If you have vision issues, these folks are definitely the first people you want to see. "Here's looking at YOU, kid!"
