They make you get dilated or charge you 20$ that's not covered by insurance. Which should be optional. Dr soares can't get a prescription right. Had 3 glasses recheck with no difference. I had to bring in my old prescription that was eight months old from my prior OD. My eye exam was April 27. It has been four months and still have no prescription glasses.

Do not waste your time, benefits, and money here. No pateint care at all, the only interest they have is money. I'm out 200$, while they complain that they're out of pocket 600$ when it's their fault they can't get my prescription right. Dr Soares is not too friendly as he seemed angry I was there for multiple rechecks and wasting his time. The top prescription is from 10/13/20 The bottom prescription is from Dr. Soares. 4/27/2021.

Unfortunately this place has a terrible environment, go elsewhere for a quality experience.

Dr was very knowledgeable and professional but this is not where you want to take a small child. He's not good with children. Impatient and rude. Staff was great on the other hand.

Dr. Soares office is very nice. They have the newest machines; the office workers are very professional. All the girls there look their best to serve your needs. He's been treating me for my eye issues; im happy that i have a close office; or else I would have to go to san jose; to get a specialist in glaucoma. I love their glasses as well; they have nice frames and high end ones as well.

Those are the ones im always looking for. The appointments are easy to make. I really enjoy my appointments. Very nice office. Takes care of all my family needs locally. I rexomend this office. Its for private insurance and paying customers; they don't take medi-cal insurance. I asked because I wanted to take my mom there. It would be nice if they did, but the girls gave me a list of the Dr's that do. I appreciate that. Im thankful for their service.

Have been going to this office since about a year after he opened, always helpful & polite staff. Had Lasik done on my eyes in 2003. The Lasik center told me that my eye Doctor sent them the most complete information from any Dr before. Great eye Doctor

Dr soares is the best eye doctor around! He is the only doctor I will go to for my eye care needs. I've had the best experience going to him! He is SO friendly and goes above and beyond for his patients. His staff is amazing as well! And to top it off, the office is beautiful. I moved to Chico 4 years ago and I still use Dr Soares as my eye doctor. If I could give his business and service 10 million stars, I would in a heartbeat! DR SOARES IS A LEGEND AND THE BEST IN THE GAME! highly recommend going to him!

Upon two weeks of negative experiences with your front desk clerk, Elizabeth, my dependents and I decided it would be best to transfer our future eye care services with another office. Soares has provided my family with great care for years it's unfortunate our relationship has concluded under these circumstances. Regards,
