Had nose surgery, through VA insurance. 1st of all the surgery felt rushed and the doctor didn't even seem to care. More like a dog getting it's rabies shot. That's how I felt. On top of that they're trying to get money out of me. I told them I was a disabled veteran. Fraudulent charges!

Horrible place to work. Zero support from management and doctors. This place only cares about the bottom line, not people. If you're thinking about working here. DON'T!

Had a Bilateral Tubal Ligation done here December 6th, came in at 6:30am and by 10am I was on my way home. Not a very long wait to be called, and they made sure that I was comfortable and taken care of. Kathy (pre-op nurse) was absolutely lovely and put me at ease. The rest of the surgery team stopped by to introduce themselves before we went into the operating room.

Excellent post-op care, the nurses were extremely kind and helpful, and they took amazing care of me. While no one likes having surgery, my experience at Advanced Family Surgery Center was top-notch! Thank you to everyone on my surgery team!

The back staff of nurses, surgical staff and Drs are awesome! They took such good care of me. The front desk staff could use a few lessons on compassion and understanding. People are nervous and yes scared. Brenda needs to learn to stop the paper pushing and smile a bit. A little smile goes a long way.

Upon arriving for a minor surgical proceedure, we were given an information page that states family is no longer allowed to stay with the patient once taken to the back. This would not be an issue but part of their policy also states that family must remain in the waiting area and will not be called on the phone if needed. My daughter and I have been waiting for hours.

Two hours after my husband was taken back I asked the receptionists what was going on. She receive word that they have not started yet. The vending machine has a small selection of junk food, but what about something substantial for my daughter. If I had known the companys policy I would not have brought my daughter. It was intended to be a 15 minute proceedure.

The nurses are wonderful the extra perks are very nice like heated blankets etc. but the billing is very bad refused to bill my secondary insurance when my insurance ask them to resubmit the claim they would not sued me my insurance spent 7 hours trying to pay them. Paid them more than the amount owed then they tried to say I owed more and tried to get the attorney to take me to court for a amount that was never billed.

Get your amounts in writing before you agree to the surgery. I was told 3 times that my insurance had agreed to pay the remainder of my balance and they had just a person in billing refused to submit the claim. I really hate this because I like my Dr and will have to have another surgery soon I'll have to go somewhere else.
