From the staff, to the NP & the Doctors, they're all amazing. I had my Gastric Sleeve surgery Dec of 2021 & recently a Hernia Repair, both with DrSchmidt, and he's the best. He takes his time explaining every detail before and after surgery & makes sure you're well taken care of over all. The Surgical Cord, Bianca, is the best. Her knowledge & abilities were superb & her concern for her patients is extraordinary.
Let's not forget the Nurse Practitioner Nadia, she's absolutely the best. Always on point with things she tells you & makes sure your health is taken care of. I am completely 100% satisfied with this office and Doctor & till this day I wonder why didn't I ever get my surgery sooner.

In mid November, I was admitted into the hospital with a severe condition that I was completely uninformed on. Dr. Wong was the surgeon assigned to me for my care in the hospital. Ever since my hospital stay, she has given me great medical advice on how to manage my condition without jumping into surgery. When ever I call with a question, she is quick to respond and puts me at ease. I'm grateful that fate landed me in the care of Dr. Wong and I highly recommend her.

Dr. Eid is awesome! He did a few surgeries on me and was very professional and thorough. Everything was explained in terms I can understand and the level of care is extended to me was top notch. I would recommend him if anyone is looking for a GREAT doctor. If your looking for an okay on then he is not your man. Love Dr. Eid!

I can't tell you how happy I am with my decision to go for the surgery. From day one, the office staff and Dr. Ewing have been nothing but kind, supportive and have helped me with the transition. Dr. Ewing is a FANTASTIC surgeon and I highly recommend him. Several people I know recommended him and I am now doing the same. If you have been struggling with your weight your whole life and nothing seemed to work and no weight loss seemed to stick, go to a seminar and just hear what they have to say!
It's a hard lifestyle change but I wouldn't change this decision for anything. It's been a month post-op and my energy level is high, I'm down in weight and inches, and I'm learning how certain foods react to my body and not eating past feeling content. Thank you Dr. Ewing and Advanced Lap. for changing my life!

This place is amazing. They have a proffessional staff who takes care of you from the moment you call till way after surgery. Surgical Coordinators who make sure the hospitals are set up for you, pre-cert Coordinators who make sure all requirements are met for your insurance company, and a billing department who is team you! The office manager Silvia makes sure all needs are met and fixes any issue you might have. They also have a surgical team who's communication and coordination is impeccable. You only make this choice once make sure it's here because that is the right choice.

Dr. Ewing performed my Duodenal Switch (SIPS) surgery on May 17th. He had been highly recommended by one of his previous patients. My first impression of Dr. Ewing during my first visit, was that he was incredibly intelligent. He inspired me a lot of confidence that I was putting my life in the hands of a very skillful surgeon. 6 month ago I had sleeve surgery with Dr. Schmidt lost 68 pounds, now weighting 199 lbs. Feeling amazing, lot's of energy. The surgery has changed my life for the better. I am 60 and feel like a twenty year old. My type 1 diabetes was out of control, I had given up on myself and any future prospects of being able to retire someday. The illness had total control of me.
The surgery works and my medical data if proof of that. My average blood sugars are now130. I strongly recommend the surgery. But please note you also need to do your part, exercise and follow the recommended diet.

Dr. Trivedi helped me save my life and for this I will forever be grateful. He is very attentive, I knew from the first visit I was in good hands. The entire staff here is caring & helpful, I never worried a question would not be answered. At every office visit I felt comfortable & cared about. There was never a long wait like some other medical offices. Going with Advanced Laparoscopic Associates was the best decision I have ever made.

I have had 2 different surgeries performed by Dr. Ewing in the past year and a half. He was by far the best doctor that has worked with me. He's very caring for his patients and diligent in his work as well. I heavily recommend him to anyone who needs hernia repair or any Bariatric surgery done. His staff in office are very helpful, especially Francy. Overall, I had a great experience with the staff and am very happy that I made the right choice with them.
