After three surgeries on my back I have triple the confidence in Dr. Michael Song. My first surgery was a emergency after breaking my back. The second surgery was to repair my stenotic neck. And the third to correct a problem in my lumbar spine. This all happened in a matter of 2 years. I will always be grateful to him for coming to my rescue the first time and then continuing to do his good work on the rest of my spine.

I recently had C4-C7 with a plate. Too early to rate the outcome of the surgery, I've have struggled for years with back pain. I had always thought it was my t-spine, needless to say the PA at Dr. Song's office advised we look at the neck. The finding was 2 major & 1 moderate spinal cord impingements and exterior nerve damage. Praying this surgery addresses years of pain. Thank you Dr. Song, Ashlee, Tara and Jolie. Your team has been wonderful to work with.

I broke my neck, specifically my C6, due to a crazy accident. After hearing that in the ER, I was pretty worried. I am 23 years old so the thought of having neck surgery scared me. I had a PA come and talk to me about how I am feeling as well as running tests to see the extent of the injury. Given my age Dr. Song was conservative and hoped my neck would heal up in a neck brace.
At my 8 week check in, it wasn't healing so unfortunately it was surgery. They got me scheduled as soon as possible, due to Covid and other unfortunate incidents it had to be pushed back. However, after every time Dr. Some would call and explain and apologize. When the day came when I could, Dr. Song being the amazing surgeon that he is, I was in and out within 3 hours.
He explained everything before hand and answered any questions I had. Due to my anatomy of my neck, Dr. Song needed to change the angle of my surgery and he did so flawlessly. Since recovery has been great, with any questions I had I was able to contact either office and get an answer back that day. Would absolutely reckoned them as they are amazing and caring.

Dr. Song and Ashley Polkinghorn are tremendous. I had spinal stenosis in May 2021. I had surgery by Dr. Song on May 21, 2021. He corrected the problem and I am 100% better. He fused C3 and C4. I have had 4 follow-up appointments with Ashley who has continually monitored my progress. I have and will continue to tell people about Advanced Neurosurgery, Dr. Song and Ashley.

This medical staff is very efficient and personable. No one enjoys going to the doctor but, the staff here make you feel like you're the only patient they have. No rushing in or out. You're given time to address all your medical issues and your medical triumphs. Dr Michael Song is highest quality neurosurgeon in Nevada Nevada. However, that's just my opinion but, if you don't believe me I challenge you to try him for your self.
He quoted me an affirmation that I will hold dear to my heart forever. I was asking about the success rate of a particular procedure. He said to me, "that my success was his success and, his success was my success "! How cool was that.

DR. Song and his PA Ashley are AMAZING! He fought my insurance for about 2 1/2 months trying to get them to approve the right surgery for my back (they kept denying it Aetna stinks!) He never gave up. He ended up doing two surgeries, he came and saw me everyday and so did Ashley! He's given me back my life and I could not be happier. Also Cheyenne who works the front office is also Amazing! She knows what she is doing and always takes so much time to get everything just right I appreciate ALL that she did and still does for me!
