Originally chose this group because of my risk factors for glaucoma. Was recently seen urgently for a new eye condition. They were very accommodating and spent extra time reaching my PCP to get follow up testing. They also saw my husband last year as a same day new patient for a new onset ocular migraine. Friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

Everyone was very professional. They always treat me very well. They explain the information from the tests to where I can understand them.

Though the doctor is good, the wait time here is absolutely ridiculous! My daughters appointment was scheduled for 2pm. We checked in at 1:41pm and were brought straight back to be seen. It is now 3:56pm (they close at 4pm) and my daughter has yet to be seen by the doctor. I purposely arrived early, as the receptionist recommended, so that I would be able to pick my other daughter up from school at 3:40pm. Unfortunately I had to send my sick mother to pick her up since we're still waiting to be seen by the doctor.

Great staff and very well oiled machine. Very pleasant to speak with and answer questions and take time to listen. Very busy office but still get in and out in a very short time.

Can't recommend this place enough! I've had a rough go with past eye doctors and this place blew me away! Courteous staff, the doctor was amazing. My insurance had some issues and the team here worked to get everything fixed without batting an eye (pun intended). My prescription is finally right and I've got glasses that were fit perfectly to my face. Couldn't be happier, customer for life!

The office and staff are good, when contacting billing department wait time ridiculously long as well as automated message stating 5 minutes in reality your on the phone for 30. Reach a representative only to be told they don't handle that account and they can have someone contact you.

This location has unfortunately been stuck with a very rude and discourteous front desk employee. I've watched her and sad to say. just patients walking in. irritate her day. I went in to buy eye drops they suggested I purchase from them ( being at a discount). To my demise the eyedrops were expired, dated back to November 2021 when I bought them in February 2022.

This employee was so rude to me. I wanted my money back, since I had to purchase them from another location. Sorry to say but I no longer trusted their product. This employee says "we don't do returns", in the nastiest tone. Right now I'm waiting on Ma. Owen @ Dr. Gross's office to get back with me. Such a shame. Customer service today is certainly lost. And since no one else will say it. I will. the problem person I dealt with was the black lady at the front desk, the one who seems to be in charge of the front desk.

I have been a loyal patient of Dr. Gross's for years. I am a missionary in China and I often fly back and forth to the US. As soon as I came back from China, Dr. Gross told me at my appointment that it was time for my cataracts to come out. Due to my work, I had a very limited window of being able to get both eyes done- I was only in the US for 4 weeks before I was heading back to China. Dr. Gross was overly accommodating and made it all possible.

I had surgery on both eyes and my healing went smoothly. Dr. Gross even offered at one point to mail my eyedrops to me in China. Dr. Gross went above and beyond for me and that is why I will continually see Dr. Gross.

I came to see Dr. Goff/Clifton (she's getting married!) about 2 weeks ago as a new patient. I am no stranger to visiting the eye doctor every year as I have been wearing glasses for longer than I can remember. After she finished measuring me for new glasses, she asked if I had ever considered wearing contacts. Dr. Goff answered all my questions pertaining to contact lenses and we collectively decided to give them a try. Dr. Goff ordered contacts for me to try and I had my appointment where I was taught on how to take them in and out.

Let me just say. I LOVE CONTACTS! I am so happy with my vision! I cannot thank Dr. Goff enough as a simple suggestion literally turned into a whole new outlook on life! Thank you Dr. Goff!

I am appalled at the behavior of Dr. Gross. First off, when I came in with my 86 year old grandmother, we were scolded at the front desk because her mask was down. No big deal, it had slid down so we fixed it. Well, we were taken back by a nurse after a tremendous amount of waiting around. Dr. Gross walks in and get this. HE'S NOT WEARING A MASK. I was truly baffled at the audacity he has to treat "100 patients a day" and not wear a mask when examining my at risk elderly grandmother.

He had a raspy voice and coughed throughout the exam as if he'd just been sick. YOU WOULD THINK THAT A SURGEON UNDERSTANDS HOW MASKS WORK. If he can't keep a mask on in a pandemic, what does he do at his surgery center?! I am disgusted and will certainly be looking elsewhere for another Dr. for my grandmother.

I had not gotten my eyes checked in 3-4 years. As a new patient, the entire experience was pleasant and enjoyable. The doctor performed an extensive exam without feeling rushed. He answered all my questions and gave me a prescription for new glasses. The lady who helped me pick out my glasses was friendly and clearly explained my insurance to me. The glasses were ready for pick-up in one week! The staff was just as friendly when I came back to pick up my glasses. I have found my new eye doctor.

I think Dr. Snyder was awesome plus the Ophthalmologist who prescribed my son's prescription, but the front desk workers are unprofessional and rude. If you don't like people or your job find another one or stay home. The optical workers and office managers are unprofessional liars. For almost 2 weeks I was told so many lies about my son's glasses coming in.

One of the office managers even swore on her unborn child that his glasses would be in on a specific day and they weren't. When I finally came in to get his glasses I did not receive his free pair of glasses promised which we didn't want. I just wanted the ones I began to pay on. Nor did I receive the refund promised but thanks for the 1/2 off I guess.

I was only told in a fake friendly voice we're done after he tried them on. I will never return to their office. I wouldn't care if it was the last one on the face of this earth. Do better!

I wish I could give them less then 1 star. Please do not use mid Atlantic eye care. My son was a patient there for over two years. Why would you stay that long if they are that terrible. My son was 3 years old when he started wearing glasses and he seemed to like the Dr Snyder and I wasn't aware of many pediatric optometrist. Mid Atlantic eye care is never on time for appointments.

Our experiences were typically 1-2 hours past appointment time with our personal best being over 3 hours. Why would you wait 3 hours you ask. Because 45 minutes in they dilated my sons eyes to tell me every 30 minutes after that it should only be another 20 minutes. On top of not being on time they are extremely inconsistent with their bills. I always pay my co pays at the time of the visit and any other bill I've ever owed when I receive it. 5 months after a visit they are now claiming I owe an additional fee.

I called and talk to someone in billing department and they told me they never even submitted the visit to insurance. Here's another kicker that appointment I have a bill for the doctor didn't even assesses my son. He told us to wait until his 6 month mark to recheck his eyes. All he did was read an eye chart. So if you want to waste your time sitting in a waiting room and get random bills this is the place for you.

I had an appointment for diabetic eye exam plus glasses and contact lenses with Dr. Snyder as I specifically asked when I called to make an appointment. First I was asked for a referral, even after I was told I didn't need one. Then after waiting 1 hour and receiving bad looks from staff like if it was my fault being there waiting, I was finally called.

Office was packed with complete disregard of COVID protocols on a small space. During one of the eye test another assistant wanted to have another patient at the same time in the small room to use another machine next to the one I was being test with the other patient, equipment was "cleaned" with a small piece of cotton with alcohol and the handles of the machine and the seats were complete ignored, don't even tried to do like they clean them after patients.

When I was about to be seen by the doctor I was told he doesn't do prescriptions for glasses or contact lenses, that I would need another appointment for that, plus pay for them when I'm sure my insurance cover those exam and prescriptions. I asked about that over the phone and was told that I would get all in that visit. They just wanted me to come back another day to make more money.

Then I had my pupils dilated with a solution that looked like haven't been used in ages, nevertheless my eye got swollen but the doctor didn't say a word about it. When I left the office my eyes just got worse and my eyelids were very swollen. It's not the first time I get this test done but it's the first time I end up with swollen eyelids. The whole reason I went to the appointment was because over the phone I was told yes to all my questions of the services I needed, that no referral was required now I got no prescriptions for my glasses or contact but was charged for the visit and left with pain in one eye.

I was told yes just because they wanted to charge the plan and me. They go for the money don't care much about you, your health or needs. Not coming back and definitely don't recommend it.

Dr. Gross has been my doctor for going on 8 years. When it was finally time to get my first cataract removed, I knew I would need glasses while I was still working/reading until my second cataract was removed. Dr. Gross had his optical department make me a prescription pair of glasses that I could wear while my first eye was healing to continue working.

I then had my second cataract removed about a month later. The optical department remade my reading glasses at no charge to give me the best vision post cataract surgery. I am so pleased with my vision and the service that Dr. Gross's office and optical provided.

Very unprofessional and do not keep up with or track their patients progress. Slacking! Neglect! They had me do a lab test for Deep Vein Thrombosis, my insurance company had an opthamologist review the testing with my entire medical records. They stated that someone like me would never even be suspected of having DVT and slapped me with a $200.00 bill. Thats what you deal with at Advanced Vision Institute!

The part that bothers me the most is that I persistently called to resolve the issue, but I always received a rude medical receptionist that wanted to interrupt me, receiving various miscellaneous answers to shut me up for the time being!

While the medical staff is friendly and well qualified, I regularly waiting 1-1.5 hours after my appointment to be seen.
