Contact Lenses Report

This is to introduce you to the contact lens department of Affiliated Eye Surgeons. Our contact lens technician for the past 36 years has been Pauletta Bartley COT, NCLEC/ABO. Loving the challenge of contact lens fitting, she pursued certification as a contact lens technician with the National Contact Lens Examiners and became certified in August of 1989.

Optical Report

Affiliated Eye Surgeons has an Optical Shop located within its suite at the Osborn Plaza location. It offers a large selection of frames and lenses to compliment your personal tastes and image needs. We have many brands and styles to meet every budget! Our Optician has over twenty-five years in the optical field, she is highly experienced and state certified, and excels in adjustments and repairs as well as fitting each individual patient with custom made eye wear.

Testing Report

Diagnostic Testing is provided at our Osborn office and is recommended by the physician to aid in the diagnostics of a wide variety of eye problems. Visual field testing provides your doctor with a map of your peripheral and central visual field to locate areas that may be affected by disease or other problems.

Yesterday when I saw Pauletta (contact lens specialist) and Dr. Koster for annual exam, I left feeling cared for. They must have a good practice manager, because their front office runs like clockwork.

I had several procedures done years ago in Chicago from RK, PTK, partial corneal transplant.etc.and most recently was having problems with my left eye to find out I had developed complications of the partial corneal transplant, I them proceeded to have an issue with my right eye from a small ulcer appearing in my right eye. Dr. Yanik and Paulette worked with me and helped me clear both issues.

I am still going through the process of getting fitted for my new contacts but just wanted to give Kuddos to both Paulette and Dr. Yanik They are the best. I highly recommend this team. I am blessed to have found these two individuals. I have a very unique situation with my eyes and can not thank them enough for helping me get through this very scary situation.

I hope to have a very long relationship with these two individuals. I highly recommend them. One more thing, I do NOT have insurance but they worked with me on this issue, I am humbled and blessed.
