Services
We're committed to providing patients quality and convenient urgent care at an affordable cost. At our urgent care clinics, we offer on-site lab testing for common conditions like flu and strep throat so you can quickly get treatment. We also offer x-rays for minor injuries should you need them.
An abscess forms when bacteria gets below the skin. Pus begins to build up under the skin causing swelling, redness, and pain. Cuts, scrapes, and bug bites can turn into abscesses if they aren't kept clean, and shaving or waxing can create a pathway for bacteria to invade the skin. Parts of your body with more sweat glands, like your armpits, groin, and genital area, are more prone to abscesses.
All animals are capable of biting and scratching, even if they are your pets. Smaller animals like rats, mice, and rabbits inflict smaller scratches, while large animals like cats and dogs can cause severe wounds. Bites and scratches expose individuals to potential hazards transmitted through contaminated saliva, secretions, or blood.
Our fingers and nails are involved in every aspect of our daily activities. As such, they are more susceptible to injuries and infection than any other part of the body. Finger and nail injuries are very common in daily life and occur when they are cut, crushed, pinched or sustain other trauma. These injuries are rarely serious and typically heal on their own without any specific treatment. In some instances, though, pain, ongoing bleeding, infection, or loss of function require follow up by a medical provider.

The medical staff was extremely helpful and friendly! They took great care in looking me over and getting me the right treatment and meds for my illness. The facility is clean and nice. If I ever need urgent care services again, this is definitely where I will choose to go!

The front desk lady and the doctor who took care of my son were fabulous. He needed stitches and they did a great job. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and made him feel at ease during procedure. For after hours care this is the place to go.

I went 2 week ago, paid $165 was told I need an antibiotic after taking it my symptoms persisted and went back, they want anther $165 to give me anther prescription. lost my business for ever, so much for customer service and customer retention. there's better places to go in this very competitive business.

My husband and I have been to AfterOurs for a variety of reasons, ranging in severity level. The staff is very professional and caring. They don't appear to be over-worked or unable to spend an adequate amount of time with their patients. Every interaction we've had here has been positive and helpful.

Very nice people. I went there about 8 pm with my 15 year old I have medicaid and usually feel judged because of it. I have a job that I love and work very hard to provide a good life for my children and I. So when people go out of their way to make me feel comfortable, I appreciate it. Super fast and friendly. Thank you!

Took a long lunch from work to be seen here. I made an appointment online and wasn't waiting very long before I was brought back to a room. I was there for about an hour and my prescription was called in within an hour.

Website advertises EKG and x-ray service services. I called before I went in with my chest hurting, dehydrated, my heart was racing and I was nauseous. They did not do one test on me. The EKG machine was broken and there was no x-ray tech on site and I don't think the doctor or the front desk girl knew how to start an IV they could not even give me fluids. They need to Close their doors and turn off the lights because they do not offer any services except taking your money.

I was really grateful to find a late night urgent care when around 9 PM I had a non emergency come up I needed taken care of before the next day. Everyone was kind and understanding, and even though it wasn't purposefully, I appreciated an all female staff. The NP who treated me was patient and thorough in helping me and I greatly appreciate it!

I was referred to Afterours by a friend and went to be seen on Sun. Walking in the front door I couldn't believe it was a medical building, the place was a mess. ( The floors ripped up and half finished. There were no pictures on the wall, the paint dated, the patient room that I was in was a joke.) The front desk girl was nice but it took forever to register me because the computer wasn't working right.

The nurse was nice. While I was waiting for the doctor, I heard a man screaming, ranting, accusing staff of things they were clearly denying. His tone was so threatening that I was fearful for not only my safety but that of the staff. Especially the person he was talking to. The staff nicely tried to assure me that everything was fine but clearly it wasn't.

The entire conversation was clear as day and I was shocked by his comments. When the doctor came in, even though I'm sure she was upset you would never know it. She was calm, professional, warm, comforting, and very apologetic for something that obviously she had to embarrassed about. She went out of her way to find me a treatment to help with my discomfort so I wouldn't Be miserable until my results came back when she originally didn't have one.

I really appreciated Bridget and Jason taking care of me during my Colorado trip. Won't share the personal details, but they really went out of their way to help me and provided excellent medical care. It was also impressively quick. I hope I never have to come back

Amazing experience. staff was extremely helpful and efficient. the wait time was reasonable (especially for a test without an appointment) and the staff gave me updates when necessary. after i took the test, i just had to wait 15 minutes, get my result, and i was free to go! thank you so much to the AfterOurs team for your help today.

Update: Within hours of posting review, I received call from clinical manager with update on my COVID test result--power of the review is amazing! Her inquiry to Quest Diagnostics was my PCR test was "on hold", which after 10 days translates as "lost". We discussed my frustration at the inability to reach anyone at AfterOurs for over a week, and how the lack of information on test result put me in limbo with isolation status, both at home and work.

She offered me a free rapid COVID test if I came back in, which seemed like a moot point, 11 days after symptoms & 10 days after original test; but I had a day off & went in, if anything, to give an opportunity to revise this review. All went smoothly, it was apparent that all staff I dealt with were on notice that I was the dissatisfied patient who'd written a negative review.

No surprise, COVID test negative--the Dr came in for a chat, was very nice, professional as we discussed my negative experience. I understand that mine is not characteristic of the 1000's of tests they send out, but I disagreed that once the test leaves the clinic for the lab, while it is literally "out of their hands", the responsibility to the patient remains until the result is reported.

A hidden gem! This place was so professional, helpful, quick and very informative! We got our rapid test in less than half an hour! All the staff were very helpful and informative. The nurse helping my 16 yo daughter was very friendly making the test so easy. The front desk representative, Laurraine, was extremely helpful, cheerful and made our visit and registration process so easy!

Highly recommend this place! Update Friday Nov 12/ 21 : the short man in reception on Friday night was extremely rude! We waited for a doctor over an hour just to ask us 3 question after swabbing was done. Bayan, the female receptionist was so lovely, did the swab and seemed to be doing all the work in this facility. However, When I asked this male receptionist who barely nudged from his seat all this time how long more will we have to wait, he was obnoxiously rude and almost yelled at me for asking!

I guess it depends on the staff working there to get a good service and it wasn't even that busy! Taking off one star for all the unnecessary wait and for this rude receptionist that can use some manners

I went in on Sat., 11/14/2020 to have a strep and Covid test. Strep test came back quickly, negative. I was told the Covid test would take 3-5 days and I should quarantine until the results come back. I called on Tues., 11/17, and they said they were not back yet. I called everyday, only to get a recording "that my call is very important and to leave a message, someone will return my call shortly".

On Sunday, 11/22, I called and got the recording again. I left a message to speak to a "Supervisor". Still, no return phone call. On Tues., 11/24, the office called me asking if I received my results! She said they were negative and were received on Tues, 11/17, but that they're system has been down! I have quarantined for 10 days, had to use my sick pay from work, and it was totally unnecessary!

This is unacceptable care. Do you mean to tell me that no one has a cell phone or that they cannot have their corporate office return the results to patients in a timely manner? I understand that Quest is overwhelmed with these tests, but my husband had a test at a drive through facility on the Friday before and received his results on the following Monday.

This is a scam. I paid $35 for a telehealth appointment and no one ever contacted me. I called and left several messages with support, sent several emails and texts. Nothing. Don't waste your money or time.

I had a great experience here! I signed up online, arrived at my time (8:30pm), walked right in, was taken to a room and immediately checked vitals. I was in for a possible bladder infection. Gave a urine sample, they checked it immediately, the Dr came right in, did my exam and discussed a medication. Then I was out the door! I was in there maybe 25 minutes for all of that. I highly recommend this place! I'll go back!

You're better off having your drunk friend doctor up your wound than come here. I swear they just hire anybody with no training or experience and give them a pair of scrubs. Came in with a very deep laceration and they made it worse. Aggravated the wound on accident multiple times, prolonging the visit because every time they did so it would bleed profusely. not to mention the actually bandage job they did. I could have done a better job with a blindfold and only one hand. NEVER coming here again, it's amateur hour.

I arrived at AfterOurs at 5:30 pm recently. I was the only patient there. The receptionist was so kind to me, you could tell she knew I was very ill. The RN was also compassionate. The doctor saw me immediately and explained to me clearly that due to my abnormal vital signs I needed to go to a nearby ER. I felt that this was very good medical care, and was glad that she used good skill and judgment. I went to ER and received the treatment that the AfterOurs doctor said I would need, and I am recovering well.

I walked out of this facility without being seen. Upon check in the front desk person was busy chewing her gum which in my book unprofessional in a medical facility. Second beside not being particularly friendly she insulted me when she stated, I have sent the information to your phone, "you do have your phone.?" No I did not as feeling bad I walked out of the house without my phone not realizing a phone is a requirement to being seen.

I realized at that point I did not want to be seen there, I want a friendly atmosphere where I feel safe and that the medical staff will listen to me not castigate me because I forgot my phone, I asked for my cards back and told the front desk person I was leaving because she had been so snarky to me.

This was one of my best medical experiences ever. I went in on a Wednesday to have stitches removed. The doctor came out to the waiting area to look at them and suggested I leave them in a couple more days. Yes, she came to the waiting room and told me to come back--no waiting, no payment. I went back a couple days later and they removed the stitches. I was only there 15 minutes total. They were caring, competent, and quick. A great place!

The actual worst. I ate s%&t a couple of weeks ago on concrete. Landed on arms and both knees. The Dr. made a comment upon seeing me to the effect of "I've seen you before" which felt weird since I am pretty sure I have never met this woman in my life. The medical assistant was nice but lacked personality entirely and did not give an impression of being very good at her job. Anyway, they x-rayed my shoulder and said soft tissue injuries will not show up, she glanced at my road rashy knees and said they looked "clean" to her. Told me to take ibuprofen, gave me a sling (a $5.94 Walmart sling for which I was billed $200, leaving me with a balance of $83.00 after insurance payment ---what?!?!?!?), and sent me on my way.

While I do understand that there is a serious opioid crisis in the country, I was clearly in quite a bit of pain, and probably some shock at that point and perhaps could have used some reassurance, or what-to-expect (the next 2 weeks have been brutal), and maybe a day or two of something that could have helped me from feeling like I was dying. I feel like urgent care providers should be empathetic and kind since more of their patients are already having a bad day.

I was made to feel like I was taking time away from her lunch or something. Weird and awful. I also did not appreciate that I was required to provide a credit card to guarantee payment without any indication of what the final charge would be. Why on earth do we pay for services when we have no clue what they cost up front?!? The worst experience on a really bad day. It would have likely cost me less to go to the ER.

Front desk staff is great, but the PA Jason B Guy is a not so nice, condescending kind of person; I took my daughter in yesterday because she woke up with her eye matted shut. She's had Pink eye before, has a friend who currently has it, and also works around Elementary School Kids. We wanted to catch it early, and told the PA this. However, he was uncovinced it was Pink Eye and told us to use lubricating drops, then mumbled something else, asked if she had any allergies and left the room.

I understand the overuse of antibiotics and wholeheartedly agree that he shouldn't prescribe them if she didn't need them. But I was unclear as to what his plan was. So when he came back in, I just asked if I could clarify if he was going to write the Prescription for the drops in case it was indeed Pink Eye.he about bit my head off! 'That's what this is, ' as he points to the RX Seriously. I was making sure we didn't need to come back.and by the way, it IS Pink Eye!

Very nice staff. This isn't like a normal urgent care. But they will help you like any other urgent care. They take payment plans for anyone who doesn't have insurance. They are affordable. They were fast and friendly. They are small but well worth it. I was surprised to be taken care of. The only down falls were the staff seem to rush through a few points here and there.

The exam was covered but it was still fast. And the main office is in the open. There are no doors. Only leading to the exam rooms (which there are 2 or three) and the bathroom.

When I walked in, the receptionist asked me "why are you here?" Why did she think I was there? To hire a clown? Did she mean to ask me what my ailment was? I'm certain no, because there were people within 2 feet of me! Did she expect me to go into my medical issues with others listening in? HIPPA violation! When I told her that I wanted to see a doctor, she said they were not taking anymore patients.

It was 9:30, and they were open until 11 pm! She suggested I go to another of their locations, but it was at least 30 minutes away. What if I go there, and they are no longer accepting patients?!? So, here I am, sitting at the ER. This after-hours urgent care sucks, and I will never go here again!

My circumstances for coming here were really based on the situation I was in-strong flank pain on an early Saturday afternoon, which based on what I've had before, equaled a kidney stone. I wanted to get checked out ASAP since I knew the pain would be coming on strong, and I could use some pain meds and whatever else would help keep the pain at bay while I waited for it to pass.

And yes, I was also scared about it being something worse. They took me in pretty quickly, and had me do a urine sample. They were able to analyze and have the doctor go over it with me about 30 minutes later. The doc explained that because they didn't have CAT scans or any similar technology available, they couldn't figure out where it was or how big the stone was, but based on the test they could tell it was a kidney stone.

I was prescribed Tylenol with Codeine and checked out. Well, unfortunately the Tylenol not only didn't help, but made me incredibly nauseated and made me vomit. Luckily, I was able to make to an ER near me and get better pain meds, and some anti-nausea medication. I don't mean to dock this clinic for having limited equipment and resources, but I give it 3 stars as an indication that if you have something a little more severe, you should just go to the ER.
