I have been a patient of Dr. Joe Stubbs for approximately thirty years and I have total confidence in Dr. Stubbs and this medical practice.

Won't answer the phone. A recording plays for ten minutes, then hangs up. The patient portal offers no way to initiate a message. And no, I don't want to download another app.

As I sit here in the waiting room at Albany Internal Medicine I am realizing, as a registered nurse of 41 years, that we have reached a very sad day in modern American healthcare. I have accompanied my sister in-law and 90 year old mother in-law here to see her primary care provider to discuss potential hospice options her. My sister in law and I were both allowed into the waiting room, but only one of us was allowed to accompany her in to see the doctor.

We are both triple CoVid 19 vaccinated and wearing mask. The conversations we are to have with the doctor today are tough and emotional for all of us. Sometimes the ears and input of more than one family member are needed to make these most important informed decisions. I am sure they will say the rationale for only allowing one family member is to help stop the spread of Covid. Again, we are triple vaxed and wearing mask.

And I am allowed to wait in the waiting room. It is my personal opinion, having experienced this same issue before with my own mother and sister at another clinic in another state, that Covid is bring used as an excuse by healthcare providers to not to have conversations with multiple family members. More family members equal more questions and longer office visit times, and we all know time is money.

Just my thoughts since I have plenty of time to record them while sitting here in the waiting room. My mother in-law has been a patient here for many years and has always received excellent care. As I stated earlier it is a sad day in the history of our healthcare system when family members cannot receive adequate counsel about serious matters under the guise of preventing the spread of Covid.

I don't know about the doctors but the FRONT DESK EXCELS IN THE ART OF RUDENESS. I was never called back to set an appointment and when I went there to inquire, customer service was poor, and I knew I was not welcome. If you are a minority, better steer away. On the same street at the "VERANDA", the front desk is courteous, very professional and you will be treated with respect.

Dr. Williams truly DOES NOT care about her patients. Would rather you call in and talk than go in a see her to really address your symptoms. When you can get in, she orders lab work and puts you out of work until the results come in. However, she doesn't tell you that all lab work is done "in house" so they can make more money. One person working in the lab and results are delayed indefinitely leaving you susceptible to discipline from your employer. It's been 72 hours since labs done and nurse just told me that "we will call when the results come back. The person in the lab is backed up and Dr. Williams didn't put them in as STAT." Will be finding another Dr who actually cares.

Office staff and nurses are rude and disrespectful. And no one there understands or cares about patient continuity of care.

I went to check in at the front desk for a heart procedure and two of the women that work there were so rude. I've never been treated so rudely by office staff. Thank God I'm not a regular patient at this place. It don't cost anything to be nice!

I absolutely love Dr. Richard's. She not only is very nice and knowledgeable and efficient, she goes above and beyond. She stays current with patient records and knows when you've had to see other doctors. I had a couple different specialist doctors and they sent her all my records. I saw her out of the office and she asked me how everything was going with my other visits and didn't act bothered that I spoke to her out of office. I hated having to leave her but my family and I moved out of state so I had no choice. I hope I can find a doctor as special as her in my new state.

The office staff are rude, disrespectful, and frankly stupid. I have NEVER had an appointment here or a prescription filled without there being some kind of problem that required me to chase them around fixing their mistakes. And when you do call to get it fixed you are treated to 10 minutes on hold before you get to a human, who most of the time acts like you couldn't be more of a disturbance to their day for asking that the problem their carelessness caused be fixed.

The only reason they get 2 stars is because the Doctors themselves are overall good, if stubborn. It took me 3 months of fighting to be put back on a medication I had already been on for 2 years, so be ready for that. If you have a choice, go somewhere else and save yourself a lot of headaches and time wasted fixing their completely preventable mistakes.

(This review is based on the costumer service I experienced over the phone) I called to get information about the physical exams that are required by USCIS, unfortunately I was "helped" by someone that was not helpful at all. After explained my unique situation, her answer was "I don't know maybe, call immigration, that's all I know." She did not make an effort to ask someone else to at least find an answer.

All the other USCIS physician's office that I called were very helpful and at least made an attempted to find information for me. (2 it of 5 because I can not speak for their on-site service)

Dr LATIFAT AGBEJA is great and really a good and kind doctor but I am very disappointed for AIM's on-site-service! It's totally bad or worst! I am trying to send couple important docs to Dr. AGBEJA for long 2 days but can't! First they gave one fax number and I sent all docs, but that number (totally) didn't work, Dr. AGBEJA didn't receive those! Then from this early morning I am trying at-least 100 times to get the right fax number and could hardly get two numbers (not sure they worked or not) and called again 100 times to confirm that she got those or not, but I failed! How pathetic!

Finally, a professional atmosphere in Albany where someone can appreciate customer service. Nice job AIM. Dr. Richards is great as well as her staff. Very friendly and helpful. Will get you in quickly after you've established yourself.
