Did you know that when MCMH opened in 1989 there were approximately 15,000 outpatient services visits per year? Did you know that number has jumped to over 45,000 outpatient visits per year? What you see above is our exciting new expansion project that will give much needed breathing room to almost every department in the facility. New space for outpatient clinics, ER, radiology and surgery.

Nothing good to say. Rude nurse. Also testing for diabetes that I never had. They didn't read my prior history. They got the wrong cardiologist. Took my Lasix away for five days and my feet swelled up like football and were so tender I couldn't walk and the instep felt like it was being split into! There was a very compassionate nurse, Suesan, her name is probably misspelled.
I am looking for a different hospital This one wouldn't let my primary care Dr. Hayes in to see me! When I pressed the help button, they said someone would be in, then shut the light off. Then I peeed in bed because no one came. They shut the light off to show on the computer they have fast response time! I am shifting to UNMC Omaha, except for the primary care, Dr. Hayes, he is excellent!
I am editing this review on 6-21-2022 to include a prior incident: I was being prepped for surgery by Dr. I was on gurney and had an IV. Dr. looked at my blood work and said "I am not going to operate on someone this bad off" and he went back to Omaha. We soon got a bill from MCMH for 1500 dollars or so. When we drove there to see the lady in charge, she said we had to pay it because. Medicare and blue cross wouldn't pay because nothing was done and the hospital reserved the room for my surg.!
We paid the money and didn't learn not to go back. They don't have a conscience! If they would reimburse us now, It would ease their conscious and it would be the correct thing to do! I am requesting Dr. Hayes to send me to UNMC. I have a Hepatologist, Urologist and a Nephrologist at UNMC. I find that UNMC is organized and courteous.

I love all of the staff here. I have probably given blood to all phlebotomists, each one super nice. Everyone in the women's center are extremely knowledgeable and are thorough. I have an uncommon skin condition and my doctor knew exactly what it was without me needing to explain. I am very happy with the service I have gotten here. They even have an online portal so you can view your lab results and pay your bills on.

I went in with a severely sprained ankle. I couldn't walk for a week. The ER nurse was indifferent and cold. The doctor seemed annoyed at being woken up. I was in pain and not my best self admittedly and I wasn't terribly polite when they released me with no pain medicine or brace. I told the nurse I couldn't walk on my own and she literally said leave or she would call security.
Ultimately a kind and concerned police officer helped me to my car and I actually had to CRAWL from my car to the house. Seriously, incredibly bad ER experience. I couldn't say enough about how horrible it was. Later a customer service email came and I expressed my dissatisfaction. They never bothered to follow up.
