Finally found a Doctor who listened to all that I was experiencing and going through. Cared, listened and tested for what I asked for and gave me options to fix and gave me hope that the headaches I've had for 3 and a half years might actually go away when my primary Dr. Said I didn't have allergies. I would highly recommend the Allergy and Asthma center. Their staff was kind and courteous. And above all they listen with compassion! Very friendly staff & convenient location if you're going to school (I'm not, just saying).

The doctor I saw (I believe Dr. Parks) was extremely nice and down to earth, talked to me as a person, and was very supportive during the discussion. I agreed with his diagnosis and it seemed he was understanding of what I've been going through. It was a very pleasant appointment unless others i've seen for my diagnosis.

I saw Dr Parks at the allergy center in Medford. It felt like he had already made up his mind before I got there. Told me there I did NOT have an egg allergy because if I did, they would be writing papers and talking about me at conferences. I tried telling him how sick I was getting from eggs. He again, told me only children have egg allergies and it was so Incredibly rare for adults and that I don't even need to do testing.

He said it would be a waste of money. I asked him to do it anyway. Guess what. I'm allergic to eggs. I don't Understand why he was so sure prior. It felt as if he was tired of people coming in thinking they have "allergies" when instead they had "Intolerance". I totally get that it's probably tiring but to disregard someone the way I felt disregarded was frustrating. I wonder if they are going to write a paper about me now.

Given a very rare diagnosis. Doesn't even match my symptoms and never given any information other than stay away from the foods that cause irritation.

Took my son in to see Dr Israelsen, I am more than thrilled with how thorough he was. Left my appointment knowing so much more about my childs health issues and receiving more than clarifying answers. His assistant Matt was very helpful and friendly as well, they made my son feel comfortable which can be tough especially for a first time visit.

Fabulous All the way around. I'm a new patient with a complicated medical history. My Primary Care referred me last week and they called me on Friday for a Monday Appointment. I walked in to smiles all around. 5 pages of paperwork (usual) Nicole (front desk) very friendly, helpful. (praying I remember your names correctly), Kristina his nurse very efficient, perky, kind, Dr. Parks knew my chart inside & out (IMPRESSIVE) and checked me for allergies (I have none.

Who knew. Found out I DON'T have Asthma, Who knew?) and really just did a great job. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Treating me for an aging issue. Ok then. I can handle that.

My son has been dealing with food allergies his whole life. Had tests done at 8 months old. Had a great experience with staff and doctors. Fast forward 4 years. My son acquired a grass allergy so bad his eyes swelled shut. But to make sure that's what it was we had him tested again and along with all his other allergies which was awesome. But he still has a big allergy to dairy.

Great experience overall, no complaints. *When* I started getting calls from them and missing them. Listening to the messages they just wanted a return phone call "whenever possible" I put it off for a couple days and decided to call them to see what the call was regarding. I didn't take note of the medical assistant who left the message but why, when my son is a patient and they have notes to look back on. NO!

I got the rudest receptionist EVER! Receptionist- hi, asthma center how can I help you? Me- hi, my son is a patient and I have been getting missed calls from you guys, was just calling back. receptionist-okay, from who? Me-umm. sorry I didn't catch her name. Receptionist-well there are about 30 people here who make calls daily, so without a name I cant help you.

Listen to your message again, get the name and call back. Me-wow, um. Cant you look up my sons chart and maybe there is a note that says who left the last message.? *little kicker, I'm a medical assistant, I know that notes in a chart are a "thing" and tracking your ever move with your patients IS important. Receptionist-um. Ya, it doesn't say that.

Like I said there are 30 people making phone calls all day. I guess i could ask around all day and see who tried to call you. Me-ya, you do that, and tell them next time to pit it in the chart so I don't have to go through this ever again, they can also leave a detailed message. Thanks. Seriously? I have never experienced anything like that EVER. So, Hunter, the very impatient receptionist, I suggest if you don't like your job and maybe you think you're not really a people person, you should go work at McDonald's or something.

Cause talking to patients like that looks bad on EVERYONE who works there. Nice representation! No stars for Hunter but 3 stars for everyone else. One person can really hurt a companies appearance and if I worked there I'd be pissed she just made us ALL look bad.

Watch out! This practice will tell you it is fine to get multiple doses of your shots within a one hour time frame to save you the trouble of multiple visits. This sent my husband into an anaphylactic shock like experience that lasted for days. They said he had some underlying virus before the shots and offered no help. Maybe that is a remote possibility, but if so it could happen to anyone!

The nurses were great they get my star. as for the doctor and billing they were a nightmare! After months of health issues, rashes, blisters and more we were referred here to get my daughter tested for what was causing the allergy. I was told one appt, given a price for all testing and agreed to pay cash. They lied, made us come to several appts (charged for every one) before they even gave my daughter the testing strips, then sent us home with them and told me to put them on her myself. then come back for a "reading" of the strips in 3 days. this whole time I knew what my daughter's allergy was from but the doctor here NEVER wanted to listen to me!

Every time I told the doctor what we were sure was causing the reaction he made my daughter and myself feel stupid and very uncomfortable. They ended up charging me 3x what they told me it would cost and the only thing he did was shake our hand at all appts! As a mother I am glad I did not listen to this office and followed my gut, I ended up finding a doctor that listens to us, he preformed surgery to remove a screw in my daughter that I was sure was causing the allergy and guess what, it worked!

Her allergy is gone and she is doing 10x better! So thankful for the doctors in southern oregon that will actually listen to you and help you. my opinion, find one of them and avoid going to this center if you can!

I've been going to Allergy & Asthma since I was a kid and could not recommend them enough! The entire medical staff is thorough and accurate taking the time to ensure you are getting the care you need and being conservative with treatment when necessary. Their entire team is so friendly and welcoming from the front staff all the way to the doctors. I always send my friends and family to them and they are never disappointed! Thank you guys for setting such a high standard in our Valley.
