This is how health care should be done. My son has been a patient of Dr. Jacobson for almost 20 years, he started seeing him at age three. It was a very scary time for me as a parent. My son had just been diagnosed with multiple life threatening food allergies. He also has asthma. Dr. Jacobson listened carefully and allowed me to ask all my questions and share my concerns.

From the first visit I felt a sense of calm because he is very thorough and took the time to explain everything in detail and ways to manage both the allergies and asthma. We developed action plans which I was able to share with family members and the school. My son was able to advocate for himself because Dr. Jacobson gave him the knowledge and confidence to successfully handle his allergies and asthma.

Fast forward to today and he is a healthy college senior. He has a great relationship with Dr. Jacobson. I also know other people who are patients of Dr. Jacobson. He is a gifted physician who is able to diagnose even the most difficult cases. The entire staff is outstanding! We are especially grateful to have received the Covid vaccines and booster at their office, special thanks to Deanna who persevered and secured the doses at a time when most doctors offices could not get them. She is truly amazing. Over the past 20 years, we have received exceptional care from Dr. Jacobson, his nurse Pam and everyone there.

Dr. Jacobson is the best! I am so happy that I found him as I now feel like my health is beginning to improve and I will eventually get back to being me. Dr. Jacobson has wonderful bedside manners and he patiently listen to you and provides details. After 1 office visit he diagnosed/corrected an issue that I was dealing with for several months. He has a wonderful persona and demonstrates the love and commitment he has to his job.

His details and attentiveness to your conditions shows he cares about your health. His staff are all friendly, warm and professional. I switched doctor services to Dr. Jacobson and are thankful I found him. Dr. Jacobson, Thank you for taking on my health and for caring enough to journey me to wellness.

Dr. Jacobson and his staff are an incredible group of people. Dr. Jacobson actually takes time to listen to his patients and answer their questions. His diagnostic skills are fantastic, and he carefully explained why he was ordering the tests he was ordering and the next steps that we would be taking based on the results of those tests. He was also extremely understanding of my time and would do extra work to order lab tests close to my home. I have never had such a great experience with a physician.

I was sick of being sick, desperate for an answer, and saw Dr. Jacobson's credentials. He and his staff are extremely professional, genuine, and forward-thinking. I did not wait and enjoyed visiting, despite circumstances. Dr. Jacobson is extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend. UPDATE: Since visiting Dr. Jacobson after he did a pneumococcal panel and administered the appropriate vaccine, I have not been sick ONCE.

I've flown four times across the country. I used to get sick after almost every flight and had a fear of touching door handles because I didn't have the appropriate antibodies. I cannot say thank you enough! This has been LIFE-CHANGING for my personal, familial, and professional life. Thank you!

Sometimes the day after your birthday does really feel like the first day of the rest of your life. My visit with Dr. Mark Jacobson in Hinsdale yesterday was mind-blowing. I knew I had allergy-related issues but I got ALL the answers in one visit and now have a plan to manage all the weirdness. He is a doctor who listens and his staff is friendly but super-efficient. I left with a plan and so much information. For the first time in forever I feel much better equipped to take on these challenges and kick them to the curb!

Dr. Jacobson is absolutely incredible. It's very rare to find a doctor who will actually sit down and allow you to voice all of your concerns and ask questions without making you feeling rushed or like you are just "another patient, " but we found that with Dr. Jacobson. He was unbelievably attentive, went above and beyond to investigate and even tested my son numerous times to get an accurate representation of what was really going on with his breathing and allergies.

He then spent at least another half an hour explaining things, giving thorough instructions on medications and answering even more questions. From the moment we walked into the office, we felt welcomed and like we were part of the family. Deanna and the amazing nursing staff are the perfect mixture of professional and fun. They had us laughing the whole time and that is priceless. I couldn't ASK for a better experience at a doctors office. We have an A&A doctor for life in Dr. Jacobson and his amazing staff!

I was diagnosed and treated for asthma my whole life with medicine and shots. I would get frequent sinus infections that always turned into stubborn bronchitis that wouldn't take forever to go away. I switched allergists this summer and saw Dr. Jacobsen. My initial consultation lasted 45+ minutes and he looked at all of my symptoms and came up with two non-allergy diagnoses.

I've stopped taking my asthma medicine that I've been on 30+ years. I'm being treated for the two conditions that Dr. Jacobsen correctly diagnosed. For the first time in my life I have answers and a treatment plan thanks to Dr. Jacobsen. I highly recommend him. Plus, the women in the front as well as the nurses were incredibly nice, efficient, and personable.

Because he had successfully diagnosed and treated my child some years ago when she was suffering from a somewhat rare condition, I knew Dr. Jacobson was a skilled and thorough diagnostician. So, when I recently developed a respiratory condition with hard-to-identify root causes, I too, sought his services. Dr. Jacobson's office is quite the trek from where I live and work and I uncharacteristically arrived a bit late. Nevertheless, his patience and genuine interest in my condition meant that he eventually spent about one and one-half hours with me.

Much of that time was spent explaining what he was thinking in significant detail and in soliciting feedback from me. As I left with a treatment plan, I remember asking his receptionist: "How do you make any money here if you treat everyone like that?" Her answer: "We don't!" While I hope and trust that is an exaggeration, in stark contrast to one of the reviews above, I can honestly say I have not had any physician visit where economics appeared to be further down the list of considerations against patient care.

The good news is that while my condition appears complex, it seems Dr. Jacobson has identified the proper course of action and my issues are very much improved only three weeks or so after my visit. Bottom line: I STRONGLY RECOMMEND DR. JACOBSON IF YOU LIKE TO KNOW WHAT YOUR DOCTOR IS THINKING AND IF YOU WANT AN HONEST AND THOROUGH EVALUATION.

I have been seeing Dr. Jacobson for over 15 years. 10 years ago I moved to a new home that is 45 minutes away from his office. The care that I receive from him and his staff is well worth the drive. Most of his staff, who are also caring and wonderful, have remained unchanged in that time which is also a testament to the compassionate, family environment in his office.

I have many examples of how he has made a difference in my and my son's life. I listed just a few. Truly the reason that he has been so effective in our care is because when he walks into the room and asks, "How have you been?", it's not just a greeting. He sincerely wants to know, he listens and then shares his in-depth knowledge. It is so rare these days to find a medical professional who will take the time to treat you with this level of respect and caring.

I developed allergies and asthma after moving to Illinois 18 years ago. Other Dr.'s had me taking up to 12 doses a day of 3-4 meds for the asthma and I was still going to the ER up to once a week in fall (my peak allergy season). After finding Dr. Jacobson, I now have only one inhaler that I use as needed which is infrequently. Dr. Jacobson also treated my son.

As an infant, he had been ill and his pediatrician recommended I temporarily stop breast feeding and put him on formula. My son had an anaphylactic reaction to the dairy in the formula. At his age (2 1/2 months) this was not common and the pediatrician had no information for me. I immediately took him to see Dr. Jacobson. A blood test showed that he had other food allergies as well.

It is because of the wealth of information Dr. Jacobson had and the clear instructions he gave me that I was able to care for my son and he eventually outgrew his food allergies. Today he eats pizza and ice cream like any other 11 year old. A few years later, I developed acute chest pains on my left side. My general Dr. ran tests on my heart and found no problems.

I went to see Dr. Jacobson for a checkup because my asthma had also been increasingly worse. When he asked what else had been going on in my life I told him about the chest pains. He diagnosed GERD (reflux). I later saw a GI Dr., who did tests and confirmed what Dr. Jacobson had told me. My asthma is now again under control and no more chest pains thanks to Dr. Jacobson. For everything. Thank you to Dr. Jacobson, your family, and everyone at your office who has taken care of me and my family
