Rachna Tiwari, D.P.M has horrible bedside manner. I felt like she asked no questions about my issue. My PC doctor did a thorough then her. If I come in with a hurt foot WHY grab my foot harshly?

Dr. De Yoe was great. It was easy to get in for my regular appointments and I always had minimal wait time in office.

Dr. Scott Smith is the most compassionate physician! He listens to you and takes his time. I have known him as a patient for myself, my husband and my son and highly recommend him. Great expertise!

Felt like I was rushed. Went to get second opinion for foot pain. Didn't bother to call and get my lab results from prior urgent care provider. Same diagnosis I got from urgent care except urgent care called back and told me based off lab results from blood work I had no signs of having the prior diagnosis and to seek a second opinion.

These guys 1) Sent me to collections for a $31 missed appointment fee even though I had spoken to the office; and 2) Charged my insurance almost $1500 for custom orthotics (the same kind that Amazon sells for $250) that I never received. Doesn't feel great to be nickle-and-dimed by your doctor's office.

Was able to get an appointment for the next day after calling. Staff are professional but also personable. Dr. Scott Smith is highly interactive- listens and responds in a helpful, respectful, yet easy-going manner. Suggested home care that might prevent a costly surgical procedure, so looking out for the patient's benefit, not his own.

I highly recommend Dallas Metroplex Foot and Ankle. After two visits and $750 charges, a Podiatrist In North Dallas recommended a surgery under full body anesthesia to remove a small benign growth (wart) In my foot. Since he did not perform any tests such us ultrasound or X rays, I asked my dermatologist for a different podiatrist referral and she recommended Metroplex Foot & Ankle.

After two visits to Metroplex Foot and Ankle, Dr Brian De-Yoe performed the necessary Lab tests, removed the small growth in his office, follow up with the pathology results and ensured my foot had healed properly. Dallas Metroplex Foot and Ankle, is a very ethical and effective practice and I absolutely recommend it.

Dr. Scott Smith worked with me when I told him I had back pain. After setting me up with orthotic inserts my back pain has gone. I used to be grounded at least 2 times a year but have been free of that kind of pain for 5 years.

Was referred to a Dr at this practice by my PCP, by name. Called to make an appointment, asked for earliest possible time, and was given one in a reasonable time. Showed up for appointment, and was seen by a different Dr. I thought, no problem, let's do it. I was seen by that Dr (trimmed some dead skin from a wound, bandaged, and dressed it up and put me in a walking boot) I received what seems like adequate care.

At checkout paid my copay for an office visit, and supplies provided. (the boot for foot seemed a little expensive, but assumed that was just how it goes) Now I get a bill for the difference between office visit copay and a copay that I would have to pay if I had major surgery. Not happy with that and try to work out some sort of compromise, to no avail.

Still upset about it I at first decide I'm not going to pay it. After a few months I start feeling bad, so I set up some monthly payments ( admittedly a small amount) to take care of this, even if I don't think it's fair. After a few months I get a handwritten note included with my invoice saying that my payments aren't acceptable and I'm in collection at this point.

It seems to me they aren't concerned for their patients or what sort of situation they happen to be in, just give them the money. I am sure I will never set foot(pun intended) in this place again. I'm sure my insurance is equally at fault, but it doesn't seem fair to me that I was never informed that I would be charged for a full fledged surgery until long after the service was provided. And when asking about the possibility of reducing it, I was flatly dismissed.

I've suffered from "hammer-toes" since my childhood, the symptoms caused both by wearing too-small shoes as a growing child and later in life by wearing "fashionable shoes" that had ill-designed toe-boxes. The result was horribly-disfigured toes and pain in everything from walking to working in the yard to simply standing. My primary care physician referred me to Dr. Scott Smith at Metroplex and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Smith Immediately recognized my issues and recommended a plan of action to correct those problems.

I am now pain-free and even comfortable in wearing open-toed sandals in the summer! Dr. Smith is clearly well-educated in his chosen field but, more importantly to me, has an exceptional bedside manner to communicate that education in a way that's easily-understood by the layperson. He possesses a tremendous disposition regardless of the other challenges of his day, and his staff emulates his positive attitudes in making their patients feel welcome, comfortable and confident in the results. Thank you, Dr. Smith, for the services provided by you and your staff - I have full confidence in you regarding anything to do with my feet!

Caring and nice staff. The doctor was helpful but they do charge $160 for a consult with surgery. After checkup it's $20. Good thing I have HSA.

I have been a patient for going on ten years now. First with Dr. Abigail now with Dr. Smith. Office staff are professional and fun. Dr Smith is a great Dr and surgeon. Truly cares about my welfare and that of his patients first. Best Dr I've ever had.

To be honest it, it should only have zero stars. Ive been taking my mom and the foot doctor there always forgets everything. And first two times we went they always want to make my mom take x rays. Obviously for money. They call my father the same day my mom had an appointment and the woman was rude saying where was my mom. we never missed our appointment but she forgot we were there hours before. If you want a real specialist try someone else who will remember your file and care about the patient.

I have been in extreme pain for over the past three years. I had a severe case of Planter's Fasciitis that was causing me to stop doing all the things I loved, working out, including lunges, yoga, running, even walking half a mile was causing me incredible pain in my heels and ball of my foot. Dr. DeYoe was the forth specialist I visited, by the time I finally found him, I was exhausted from jumping around to specialist to specialist with a prayer that someone would know what they were talking about.

If you've ever been in pain, and had to search for a good doctor who could help, you know how very frustrating this can be. Finally, I found Dr. DeYoe! He explained to me I was most likely the 1% of people who had a rare case of Planter's Fasciitis that would only get worse if not fixed. Basically, my tendon was torn and so bad a bone spur had started to grow to try and reattach to the tendon, causing even more pain.

He had talked to me about surgery very early on, because he knew how long I had been dealing with the problem, with no help. After roughly 4 months of wearing custom orthotics and wearing tennis shoes, I finally told Dr. DeYoe it was time for surgery. We scheduled it a month later, taking out all the gunk from my tendon and taking off the bone spur, I was in a boot for roughly 6 weeks and now I am walking with little pain. Going from a 10 on the pain scale to a 3 or 4 was an answer to my prayers!

Thank you Dr. DeYoe, for giving this 26 year old her normal life back! Within the next 3 months I will be able to go for a run without excruciating pain. I never thought I would be able to say that!
