I have known Dr. Dorman and Dr. Kerwin since my daughter was a toddler. Dr. Dorman has been my daughter's Dermatologist since she was a toddler and she's now 23 y/o. I have also been treated there for many years as well as my Mom for skin problems. Truthfully, this practice could be busy and you might have to wait but it's worth the wait because of their expertise, knowledge and experience!

We have always felt comfortable and extremely satisfied with the overall services! Just a suggestion about billing the co-pay, it should be paid upfront rather than waiting for the bill via mail. All of the Physician's clinics and hospitals, collect the co-pay @ the beginning or even before services are rendered and this is extremely effective than mailing the co-payment to the patient's house. This will expedite the entire billing process.

My appointment with Suzanne R. Merkle, MD went great. She took time with me and really listened to my concerns. I felt heard and well taken care of. I would highly recommend her!

Made an appointment for laser treatment. Had to go to a different office in order to get in earlier then my normal office could offer. Drive to the WB office to have them tell me that I can't have the treatment when you've had sun exposure. Was told they really recommend only doing this treatment from Oct-March. Why would they schedule me for a treatment that isn't available?

Dr Merkle & the staff run like a fine tune engine. She is extremely thorough & I never feel like I'm being rushed in & out. She answers all my questions & has a vast knowledge/options of various treatments. I appreciate the convenient appointment portal online & the staff who help me quickly reschedule over the phone.

Dr Merkle was great! She was quick and attentive. I only had an annual skin check. If I could give 3.5 stars, I would. The reason I did not give 5 stars is because the nurse called me Mister, which happens having a unisex name but you literally have my chart in your hand so maybe she just misspoke. However, the bigger issue was when I was changing into my gown, she opened the door with no warning knock, she did apologize after coming back in but when the doctor and her were exiting the room they opened the door without warning while the examine robe wasn't secured.

So twice I could have been exposed to a stranger if they had been in the hall. I left feeling slightly uncomfortable. I may try the office again next year and give them a second chance- it may have been an off day. I also wanted to add that while I was brought back in time for my appointment, I was waiting over 20 minutes in the room.

Being a mom of five we have been going to this office for many years. Sadly, my recent experience was anything but pleasant. I called 6 times, 6. trying to get someone to help get a prescription for my son, he so desperately needed! No one would call me back! It would have taken 2-3 minutes and I requested someone please call. When I finally spoke to someone, she was rude and never apologized for the mishap on their part, putting blame on me!

Such a disappointment that customer service wasn't what I am use to from this office. Maybe their growth has changed customer care and it isn't on the top of their list anymore, hope I'm wrong.

Everyone was so pleasant and helpful at the West Bloomfield location. Being my first time to a medical dermatologist Doctor Leonard Kerwin was very thorough and kind. He made me feel comfortable and safe. He also took time to answer all my questions and concerns. Highly recommend.

My family and I have gone to this office for over 20 years and every experience has been a good one. I've worked with Dr Kerwin and Dr Dorman and really like and respect them. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Kerwin was so kind and so concerned with my issue it made me feel so cared for! He was very quick yet not dismissive but gets to the point of your concerns and you can see that he is knowledgeable and you can trust in his medical advice! I should have seen him sooner! The staff was also very helpful!

I always look forward to my visits with Dr. Kerwin. He displays tender care for his patients along with a keen focus on the deadly issues of skin cancer. His jokes? Well that is another story. You will have to book an appointment to hear them!
