My five starts go to the one PA I adore. Bozena Czupka. I have seen her since 2009. The Drs are another story. Thank goodness Dr McAllister is gone because he was arrogant and rude. I got transferred to Dr Zagar. However, any pain you have he attributes to it being psychological even when it's a hard fall and you've already been diagnosed with a concussion (by his psyche evaluation test staff) & knee injuries so bad you need surgery.

My balance has been off for several years after an intense fall, so I avoid seeing him and go straight to Bozena. Also, make sure to check your notes, because, like with every Dr I've encountered, what you are telling them is NOT always what they are writing down. It's imperative to ask for copies of your records after your visit. My cardiologist's office prints them out as you are leaving and hands them to you.

I've been a patient here for many years and yes you can wind up with one of the doctors that take forever to call you back. Also some nurses can be crouchy and with an attitude but now with all the changes and covid I've been placed with s PA who's wonderful and when I use the My chart app to send message to her she gets it quick and she answers me fast.

She also shows she cares and also listens. The only bad thing is trying to get through the phone lines., you will leave messages and it takes long to recieve a respond that way, If you do get a respond at all otherwise is pretty good. when your doctor is not in someone else will see you if its urgent.

The doctors, Physician Assistants, nurses and medical staff are the best I have dealt with. ALL of them(who I have seen in the nearly 15 years I have gone here) are extremely compassionate and great at their jobs. I see the many one star reviews which I can say are not reflective of the care from the staff. I've had the same team for years. I LOVE Bojena.

She is a PA who is deeply knowledgable and she cares about her patients which is rare to find these days. Bojena stands out to me as a professional and as a kind human. Also worth mentioning is their migraine center that is staffed with the friendliest nurses you will meet. The medical staff here understands the trauma inflicted on the lives of their patients suffering from migraine.

The migraine center is basically an ER that only treats migraines in their office. They give you a dark, private room with an IV and the medicine you need to quickly knock the migraine out. This saves you a trip to a hospital ER. I can say from experience that a trip to the hospital with a severe migraine is the worst thing I have experienced.

I came here after months of headaches so debilitating I often couldn't get out of bed. I had MRIs sent the morning of my late afternoon visit and they couldn't find them. The MD prescribed something to see if it helped. My pharmacy never got the Rx. I called the office around noon on a Friday to see if they could re-send it and was assured a nurse would call me back.

By 4, I hadn't heard a word and didn't want to sit out another weekend with no hope of a cure and called back. Got a snotty nurse who assured me that someone would call me back. I told her that I was told that hours ago and was afraid they were going to close for the weekend. She assured me they were open until 7pm and someone would call me. At 6:50, I called back and was told, while the nurses were there, the MDs weren't and I would have to talk to the on-call MD. So, I did that and was assured he'd call me within 20-30 minutes.

I'm still waiting for the call. It just can't be that hard to re-submit an Rx that's already been written, but, apparently, it is. Three phone calls. Snottiness and not much else. The MDs may be great. I don't know. I can't try their treatment. The staff needs work.

I was a patient for the first time in December 2018, with a number of follow up visits. The entire experience was outstanding. Dr. Zagar initially, then Vanessa for the following visits. I felt as if I was in great hands every time. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Nurses, front desk, everyone. For any patient I suggest filling the initial paperwork out online. Saves time and makes it easier for everyone. And arrive early if possible. It makes the schedule run smoothly.

As a returning patient who sustained yet another concussion, they refuse to see me until November. They told me to go see my regular MD. When I called back to inform them that my doctor wants me under the care of a Neuro, they said have your Dr call us. They are RUDE, UNCARING, AND VERY INCONSIDERATE OF PEOPLE'S FEELINGS. I wonder if their bosses know what they do? Not only will I leave this horrible review, I will report them for the way I was treated. Or shall I say not treated.

I have been going to Associated Neurologists for decades for differing and complex conditions and have been treated well every single visit. The office is nice, staff friendly, and doctors and PA are wonderful. They take the time to listen and do appropriate testing to get proper diagnosis, and try different therapies to alleviate symptoms. I feel they are treating my conditions properly, and caring for me as a person.

I never wrote a review, good or bad, for anything, but I am compelled to say that my visit this morning was top drawer. (Especially because I saw some disparaging reviews before my visit.) They couldn't have been more misleading. Everyone at reception was very pleasant. I didn't have to wait long. In fact, I was only half through filling out my intake information before I was taken to an examination room.

The intake nurse, Faye, was as sweet and as personable as can be. She even explained why my blood pressure was a tad high and that there was nothing to worry about. But wait, my experience with Dr. Blondin was excellent. I have been to many neurologists over the past year who have been baffled by my condition. But within' ten minutes, the good doctor, with a winning manner and smile (Important to my feeling at ease) listened intently to everything I had to say, and, bingo, he found the answer to my recovery. I am so happy and grateful to have a new lease on life. Thank you to everyone in the Fairfield office.

In my experience the office always, always messes up the billing. I am "re-billed" once again because "incorrect units billed". I put up with it for over 10 years because of the Doctor I had been seeing but when he left I was turned over to Dr. Zagar. I saw him 2X. The first time I felt like he did not know what he was doing then after my 2nd experience I would never return to see him. I could not lift my neck for 2 months without severe pain. Luckily I found another neurologists who actually seems to have experience with my condition.

My first visit was in July of this year and I have had several other appointments at Associated Neurology of Southern Connecticut. Because of my illness I expect to be using this business for years to come. The service is exceptional. In some doctors' offices there is a long wait, but at this business service is prompt. The receptionists are always respectful and ready to answer any of my questions.

Even though I have a serious speech impediment and it takes a while to explain myself, whoever answers the phone is extremely patient; and whenever I call to leave a message for my superb doctor, Toothacher, he responds the same day. Dr. Toothacher is highly professional, competent, and extremely compassionate and so are other staff members with whom I have come in contact. I would definitely recommend this business to family and friends.
