I had been recommended to Athens Orthopedic Urgent Care by my pain doctor for pain in my wrist and thumb. After completing a good deal of paperwork I was taken back fairly quickly and they took X-Rays of my wrist. it didn't take very long before a PA to come in and said that the X-Rays showed I had arthritis in the joint between the wrist and thumb.

She explained everything very thoroughly and we decided to try a Cortisone shot to see if would alleviate my pain. The shot did not hurt as much as I thought it would! Everyone was extremely courteous and professional and I would highly recommend them.

Staff was friendly and welcoming and they called me back right away. The wait time to see the provider was not as long as I expected an urgent care office to be. Thankful for the attention and care I received. Would definitely recommend.

Our doctor was very professional but could have been more thorough. The staff in the front office are very unprofessional. There where multiple people in the waiting room in pain and we could all hear the staff making fun and laughing hysterically. Not to mention that when we called they hung up on the phone and didn't call back. They will refer you to get therapy but they do not have any dates available.

Currently we are waiting for cancelations. When you are in pain and should be going for regular therapy twice a week you shouldn't have to wait for a cancelation to get seen.

AOC has been amazing to me and my family. I have had several injuries and had to have surgery on one knee already. The entire staff and surgeon have been amazing! I would not want myself or another family member to have Orthopedic treatment anywhere else!

Once again, Athens Orthopedic Clinic surpassed my expectations. The doors open promptly, staff is friendly, courteous and professional. I was seen in a timely matter and treated with compassion. Highly recommend!

Was a very pleasant visit considering it was a doctor visit. Was in and out in less than an hour. First time I've seen a orthopedic and I was a little nervous. They took care of me and it wasn't as bad as I had planned. Will recommend them to anyone who has problems with there joints.

Came here with my 8 year old son after accident with his foot. The office staff was super friendly and helpful. The X-ray tech was great and patient with him. The Doctor was excellent. It was a nice. They didn't take my sons insurance so paid out of pocket but was worth it. Thank y'all for what you do.

The staff here is wonderful and the doctors are the very best. Very professional and qualified for any problem you may have. They have taken exceptional care of me during my hip replacement. Very prompt and organized office staff. I can't say enough about the wonderful doctors and their assistants. Very caring and attentive and they know their stuff.

Excellent experience at the Athens Orthopedic Urgent Care Center. Very convenient and nice not to have to wait many days to see a competent doctor after an unexpected injury or painful orthopedic problem. Many worries can be avoided earlier rather than having to wait too long to see other clinical specialists. Recommend appointment, but walk ins welcome too! Everyone was very polite and professional. They try to get you in and out, as soon as possible. But with high regard to your health and illness. They always try to rule out everything that they can think of for you. For example, I had x-rays done on knee and hip at Piedmont Hospital. But they decided they wanted x-rays on my lower back, because I was having pains and muscle cramps in my upper thigh and behind my knee. Thank you for listening to me and asking questions to help me out.

We had a great experience. The staff were pleasant, friendly and professional. The wait time(we walked in without an appointment) was not long. The PA was great. We could not have asked for a better experience.

I pre-registered for same day appointment and didn't have to wait at all when I got there. I recommend doing that for Urgent Care. It works! I got my knee X-Rayed and was put in a room quickly. Now I'm waiting on a MRI. Put in a full leg brace and sent home to wait. I understand nothing can be done without a MRI but the earliest ones available is 9 days away. I'm in severe pAin.

Last night, I hit my pinky toe and it was dislocated sideways and of course broke. I received excellent care! My husband and I arrived twenty minutes before they closed and they were more than willing to see me and help me. The front desk lady, the nurse, the X-ray Tech and the doctor himself were beyond excellent! I can't thank them enough for helping me and being so kind when I was so upset in pain! Thank you SO much!

I've used Athens Orthopedic Urgent Care for several ortho issues (knees, ankles, neck and wrist) over the past 5-6 years and have always received excellent patient care. I greatly appreciate Athens Orthopedic offering their urgent care facility to have injuries treated in a timely manner.

Friendly, professional staff. I filled out paperwork in advance online. As a walk-in, first time client, my son was able to be seen in about an hour. One-stop shopping for my son's wrist injury: X-ray, doctor visit, and splinting or cast. Highly recommend!

My son had a sports injury that we went to a general urgent care and were given 3 different diagnosis in 3.5 hours. My Mommy gut told me we were guided wrong and my little one was defeated that his injury put him out of sports for 6-8 weeks. Went to Athens Orthopedic Urgent Care with a waiting room packed, they work so fast to get you in and out while still staying in high spirits making you feel comfortable and answering all your questions. Needless to say my Mommy gut was right and Athens Orthopedic said just a bad sprain and it was the best early Christmas present we've been given. I 10/10 recommend coming here for any potential bone breaks!

Took a friend to Urgent Care for intermittent knee pain for about 6-8 weeks. Compassionate, professional staff delivered first class care! Xray, consultation, and steroid injection to the knee and she was done! We were there for 2 hours but considering all that they did, it was well worth it!

I have been disappointed with various medical professionals over the years. That was not the case at all with AOC. I went into their urgent care with a broken humerus. I was seen promptly and received surgery the same day. They were professional and respectful of me as the patient. They handled all of the insurance details quickly and provided me with top notch care. I wish all medical offices took care of their patients the way Athens Orthopedic does. I couldn't be happier with the care I received. Thank you Athens Orthopedic Clinic!

The very short wait time in the walk-in clinic was a great surprise and the staff was super nice! Unfortunately, I felt like the Dr had no time to spend looking at my knee and was particularly dismissive of the issue and gave me some "home exercises". Thanks, Doc! That should help a whole lot. Do you think I stopped what I was doing in the middle of my day to drive an hour to see a doctor because I just wanted attention? No.

So the place is fine, staff is fantastic and seems well organized, however the care could be much better. Probably won't return for my follow up appointment. Seems like a good way to waste another 3 hours and get no medical help. I hate to say it but maybe the ER would have been a better route but that feels like an inappropriate use of Emergency Services. I thought I was doing the right thing by going to an orthopedic specialist but it did me no good. This is why I rarely seek medical attention.

I could not get into another Dr office before a week out and I saw online that they had an Urgent Care! This is an awesome facility that can treat all parts in one place. I was happy to find them and get a treatment plan started to try to get me out of all this pain. They did more X-rays even with my cast on my arm. The staff was friendly as well as the doctor and his assistant! I highly recommend them.
