This review nt even worth a one star tbh. called back in january (I think) & made an appt. after searching a while for a doctor that does a specific type of surgery. SPECIFICALLY ASKED did they take my insurances. I was told YES by the lady they have responsible for answering patients/potential patients questions. Instead of allowing me to specify my exact plan, i was given an answer based on hearing what company it was with. Waited almost 3 months for my appointment only to be told when I got there they didn't take my insurance .

Now i'm back at square one of a situation that could of been avoided MONTHS AGO. So much I wanted to say but i'm humbled myself & left. Also would like to mention that I was never given a courtesy call/email/txt to remind me of my appt, I had to call them to make sure I was still dwn for my visit . That right there just let's me know that this wasn't the place for me & i'll never return even if I do get insurance that's covered by them!

Dr. Mordel was great! Very sweet and informative and gave me a lot of feedback about what I had going on. As for the front desk representative, she seemed very unsatisfied that I did not have my physical insurance card with me. I was never told to have my physical insurance card in hand prior to my visit (I've never had it, I've always used my patient portal copy).

She said they could not accept it from my phone. Long story short, it was a lot of back and forth but eventually she just allowed me to email it and I was able to be seen. I've just never had an issue about this before.

Dr Mordel performed a robotic assisted hysterectomy on me. I was worried about the process being complicated because I live in South Ga and was referred to him by my doctor down here. However, his staff was very helpful, the office was easy to find, and Piedmont Hospital was amazing! The nurses I had prepping me for surgery spoke very highly of Dr Model and now that my entire procedure is said and done, I can honestly say that I was pleased all around and agree with them.

I never even hurt where I had surgery; I only pains from where gas settled in my shoulders. Currently I am less than two week post surgery. I am feeling back to my normal self and I was also able to go back to work last week.

Had robotic myomectomy performed by Dr Mordell. Symptoms are much worse after the procedure and Dr. Mordell could not tell me why this is happening. I am regretting this decision.do not recommend.

I had a myomectomy and salpingectomy 2/22/22. When I say Dr. Mordel is an earthly angel, because he truly saved my life. He is very genuine & compassionate and he is a beast at his profession. My surgery went awesome, my scars are very small and the pain is at a minimal. I just can't believe how good I feel being 2 weeks post surgery. I have to remind myself that I'm still im recovery.

Freedom M. Is the office manager and she does her job very well! She was so knowledgeable and helpful with the process of getting my documents prepared prior to surgery. Any questions or concerns that I had she made sure to adress them. Freedom could tell through the constant email and phone calls that I was concerned with the procedure. She also knew I was fearful as well. However, she reassured me that its a process and everything would be just find and if I needed to contact her for any reason, not to hesitate. Nichole, the nurse is amazing!

She took care of all my documents in a timely manner. She communicated with me and other parties to complete all requests that was requested of her. She never made me feel like I was bothering or rushing her to complete documents. From the time I made my first appointment Naima, at the front desk has always been very nice and pleasant. She was patient with me as a first time patient, and greets you with warmth and a smile everytime I come to the office.

Once you're called to the back, Nedra will triage and make you feel relaxed and comfortable before seeing the doctor. She never rushes you or make you feel like you are taking to long for her to get the next patient. Overall, Dr. Mordel and the ladies at the Atlanta location are heaven sent. I wish I new about Dr. MORDEL12 YRS PRIOR! He is what you call a real life saver! I feel blessed to have come in contact with everyone of these wonderful people !

Dr Nathan Mordel and staff is AWESOME. I was highly recommended to him by another physician that couldn't help me. During my first visit and an overview of my medical records Dr. Mordel did not hesitate to help me. He's my guardian angel and I believe saved my life. I highly recommend Dr. Mordel. Trust him and the process, he's an expert. My pain was minimal and my surgery was very difficult. THANK YOU AGAIN AND AGAIN Dr. Mordel and staff.

Dr. Mordel and his staff are wonderful. Can't say enough good things about them. They walked me though my procedure and it was the most amazing experience. If I could give a million stars on this review I would. I will forever be grateful to him and his staff: Nicole and Freedom. #feelGreat #FeelF'inFantastic. Thank you for everything. Tip what they don't say: on your drive home - go SLOW and/or take back roads.

This is a must! Besides that listen to all their recommendations and read the paperwork. It is a lot of reading but everything is there. Lastly: listen to your body and rest!

Dr. Nathan Mordel and the Atlanta Minimally Invasive Gyn. Surgery Ctr. and his TEAM without a doubt have become my saving grace. I am now 4.5wks out since undergoing my Robotic Supracervial Partial Hysterectomy and I honestly feel as if I have been given a brand new lease on my life! The day after my surgery I woke up an immediately noticed that the edema and swelling to my lower extremities was gone!

The pain in my feet and knees which was caused by the swelling. gone! The shortness of breath caused by the growing size of my uterus. all gone as well! I had tried a myomectomy 9 years prior but the fibroids just came back, and just kept growing. For months I talked to specialist after specialist from UFE to GYN surgeries. It was not until I had the opportunity to sit face to face with Dr. Mordel that I knew that he was the one to entrust to help me with such a sensitive and delicate surgery. Dr. Mordel was thoughtful and sensitive during our initial intake.

He took the time to explain each of the available procedures for me, helped me weigh each of my options in regards to my age, current medical issues and future desires. He was simply AMAZING! I am more active and flexible than I have been in years and on the plus side I am down 13lbs! Dr. Mordel thank you for everything:- ) Side Note: COVID set everything back, so the wait to get in to see him was about 2.5mths, but believe me it was worth it!-)

Dr. Mordel is definitely a Blessing to have met. He takes the worry and stress out of you time you meet him. I'm very impressed with how calm he is and how he found my issues quickly and is acting even quicker to get me fixed up. I truly had "chills" because I can feel that He, Freedom and the staff truly care about us as patients. It's not often that the atmosphere is really pleasant.

Freedom is very personable and will make you feel like everything will be alright. The office is also working hard to follow the Covid Protocols. So please be mindful of that and only you are allowed at ur office visit. The number 105 IS ON THE BUILDING AND ONCE YOU GO IN YOU MAKE THE 1ST RIGHT AND YOU'LL SEE 1010 THE SUITE NUMBER ON THE WALL.I would give 10 stars if I could

I wish I could leave a review on Dr. Nathan but unfortunately I didn't get to meet him. Apparently the office has moved rooms and no one at the front desk is aware. My instructions were not clear and the reception act as if I was bothering her by needing information. After being directed all over the hospital in search for the suite I missed my appointment that has been scheduled out for months. Of course the office staff is unbothered of my pain but it was very deflating going to a healthcare provider and can't get any help after waiting MONTHS.

X 10 and etc. I cannot give enough stars to Dr. Mordel. I will try to make this brief. I had a fibroid which weighed 10 pounds. Every surgeon I went to said there could be NO WAY possible it could be removed robotically. Being that this fibroid was larger than my liver, I was told my incision would have to be from the bottom of my breast line all the way down.

I had never had surgery before so I was frantic to hear this and even think about being cut in that way. I did research and Thank God I found Dr. Mordel. Without going into a lot of detail. My surgery was 4 days ago on September 3rd 2021. Dr. Mordel did what other surgeons said could never be done. Today I am feeling great. I was only a little sore the first 2 days but no pain.

My surgery lasted 5 hours because Dr. Mordel took his time performing such an operation! Words cannot express how I am feeling on this 4th day after surgery. All I can say is. I'M GRATEFUL! But let me explain Dr. Mordel's character because not only is this man absolutely BRILLIANT, but he is so kind and patient. You can tell he really cares about his patients as individuals. Dr. Mordel is a man of faith.

I don't know how important that might be to anyone else, but allow me to explain why this was so important to ME. As I said earlier, I have never been in surgery and needless to say, I was so nervous. My biggest fear was seeing the operation room. In my mind, I knew if I see that room, I'm going to freak out so I was hoping I would be asleep before going in there.

While being prepped by the nurses, one nurse told me that I have a very good doctor and that Dr. Mordel is a doctor of the future. Just before going into surgery, Dr. Mordel came in the pre-op room and looked at me with his calm compassionate demeanor and said, "Did you pray to the good Lord?" I said yes and I knew he prayed as well. As I was being rolled to the operating room, I was saying to myself, I am still wake and I'm going to see that room!

But when I got in there, I saw Dr. Mordel and a calm came over me because I knew God was with him in that room. I could feel it! My surgery was a success! There was only a few 1/2 inch incisions. When I woke up and saw my belly area, I was so very pleased! You cannot imagine! I would never be so personal online about my experience with fibroids, but I have been so blessed to have found Dr. Mordel. I hope this gives other woman hope that there is another option for a less invasive procedure. If it can be done, Dr. Mordel can do it. GET TO ATLANTA AND SEE DR. MORDEL.

Excellent skill set on the robotics system. Terrible after care. If you have a level 2 or 3 advanced diagnose, consider your options and maybe get an mri. I spent 3 years fixing the effects of prescribed meds that were a temporary fix to after care. Brutal. My life is almost normal now. I still don't run or lift weights like I used to. And do your own health analysis before hand.

If you suffer from adenomyosis research your options extensively. I wish you great health. Can you imagine going in to fix severe anemia and coming out having to fix the effects of medication as prescribed? #browngirls

I had a partial hysterectomy in Jan 2020, I use to have heavy bleeding twice a month from my periods because of really large fibroids. I have to thank God for allowing Dr. Mordel to do this surgery for me not only was he kind, understanding, and explained everything well he has excellent bedside manner. I remember the day of my surgery they were waiting for the anesteologis to come and put me under for my surgery he was taking awhile not sure why maybe with another patient but Dr. Mordel could see I was getting nervous and he held my hand and told me it would be alright.

I cry everytime I tell that story bc I just never had that kind of care from a doctor. Anyway I can continue for forever but he did an excellent job I was up and about within the same week and my scars are barely visible. I really appreciate him.

This man is brilliant! I had problems with fibroids and my neighbor told me about Dr. Mordel because he did her surgery. I made an appointment. He's very easy to talk to and he is very attentive, kind, and a good listener. We scheduled my surgery for 08-08-20 and today is 08-15-20 exactly 1 week ago today since having major surgery and I'm driving and walking around.

I have to remind myself that I'm still recovering. Unbelievable! Ladies, this is definitely the way to go! He is now my new gynecologist. The recovery is ridiculously fast. I thank God for Dr. Mordel.

My doctor referred me to Dr. Mordel. At first I was skeptical because of reviews about his bedside manner. Well I'm glad I didn't listen! From the moment I met him he made me feel very comfortable! He answered every question I had and explained everything. He even educated me on the surgery. My insurance runs from January to December of each year.

I went late November and he was booked with surgery until February 2020. His office Manager Freedom worked it out so I could have my surgery in December 2019 because I had already met my deductible and she didn't want me to have to incur more charges. Each time I called her or the other staff they quickly answered all my questions. I actually had my surgery in Duluth and I loved the hospital! Dr. Mordel came in while they were prepping me for surgery.

He asked me how I felt and explained what would happen. When I arrived in the surgical area he held my hand until they put me under. Which meant a lot because I was kind of nervous but I wouldn't say anything. My surgery went very well and my follow up was great! If you're thinking about having surgery please go in and at least have a conversation with him. His bedside manner is NOT bad! He's very caring and because of him I made the right decision! I will refer him a million times if I could!

I visited for an issue with a re-occurring yeast infection. While the visit I had with Dr. Lefkowitz was pleasant, the billing experience I had afterward was not. Upon receiving my bill (4 months post-visit), I was charged for a pregnancy test which I never authorized. When I called to have it removed from my bill, one of the nurses, Nidra, was incredibly rude and quite loudly told me that she would have never forgotten to inform me.

I find it unacceptable for nurses to correspond so rudely with patients, especially when those patients keep them and their bosses employed. Patients should not be billed for things they did not authorize.
