Staff was very courteous and very kind. Very attentive of my needs and concerns and health issues.

The doctors are great but the staff is horrible. I called and made an appointment they took my information including the reason for my visit and what I had for insurance. An appointment was made and this office is over an hour from my house but that was fine. After getting there they told me that my state insurance and medicare do not cover birth control (find it hard to believe) the woman looked at my paper with my follow up appointment info and without looking at a computer or anything off the top of her head had this information for me.

I asked nicely at first well you asked my insurance info and what I needed why did you schedule me if it is not covered. She rudely replied I can't be expected to know all the information on different insurance companies. But sorta confused because she looked at my paper and knew instantly then. But when I schedule the appointment she didn't know.

They were rude and made me feel horrible for having medicare and maine care. I was told if the last state I lived in covered it I shouldn't have moved. This staff is highly unprofessional and apparently untrained because most places know what insurance they accept when you call. The rudeness factor was an eleven out of town from them. I have never been so humiliated and disgusted by a doctor's office and the attitude of the staff.

I wouldn't recommend this place to a fly. They are highly unprofessional and apparently don't know how to do their job or just like making people drive two hours for nothing. But either way I will not be going back and I will be taking my complaint further and informing the proper people of the way this office is treating it's patients

Would not go back. Doctors are good but other staff are rude. They will not work with you about payments. To get a lesser monthly payment you have to auto pay. Also of you had a c section you cannot come back for a natural birth thoygh the office. Wish I would have known that BEFORE I went.

I'm not someone to go out of my way to write a bad review, I'm actually the opposite, but there are certain things that are unforgivable. If you are poor, or your circumstances could paint a picture of poverty, don't bother calling these people. They'll tell you they're busy and offer to call you back, but they won't.

When you do call them back to hold them accountable they'll brush you off and refer you to a clinic they probably just assume is where poor people go. If you need help with your pregnancy from a caring and compassionate team of medical professionals, go somewhere else. These people don't care about you.

My doctors were absolutely amazing I felt so safe and so cared about. My pregnancy and labor was very difficult and they were there for me every step of the way. Eased my anxiety with their amazing personalities. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else but there. Highly recommend

Overall I had a great experience at Bangor OBGYN. They delivered my son and took great care of me while I was pregnant. I loved the doctors and nurses. The front desk ladies could have been a little more personable. I also didnt like having to been seen by a different person at almost every appointment.

I liked everyone here (front desk staff, sonographer, billing specialist, nurse) except the doctor. and unfortunately that's a deal-breaker. I shared somewhat sensitive information about my personal/social situation which technically didn't have to be shared because it didn't directly affect the medical condition in question but I thought I was doing the right thing by being forthcoming.

Unfortunately I did not feel Dr. Smith treated it in a professional, respectful manner. Maybe I'm being too hard on the guy -- MDs are human too -- but I would not go back to this practice.

He is the best doctor of any type I have ever been to. He respects his patients as people and listens to her concerns. He believes you when you say something doesn't feel right. He is a wonderful person and his philosophy on patient care is carried out by everyone in the office. I actually missed having appointments after the birth of my children. They are the best!

Horrible experience here. Totally LIED to about results on a follow-up appointment on an xray and told I needed immediate surgery. Thank goodness I got a second opinion. Be careful and please get a second opinion if surgery is recommended!

I called to make an appointment the second week in July and only had to wait 2 weeks for my appointment as a new patient. The clinic mailed me the new patient paperwork so I could complete it before I arrived the day of. Once I arrived, I only needed to supply my insurance card and sign two documents regarding HIPPA. Moments later, I was called in to my appointment (early, I might add).

The nurse who checked me in to my room was friendly, engaging and polite. She listened to what I had to say without rushing me and took time to get to know me rather than just checking off boxes. She shared the information with my doctor, who came in talking with me as though we had known each other for years. I was immediately at ease. This is a teaching hospital, so if you are not comfortable with having a medical student in the room, this place is not for you; however, how do you think your doctor got to be where he/she was?

By learning the same way. Denying these students the opportunity to learn means less exposure before they actually become doctors. I was completely comfortable with her in the room as she was polite, respectful yet clearly eager to learn. I truly appreciated the care and attention that was provided to me during my visit. I felt listened to, comfortable and very happy with the patient care provided particularly with the professional bedside manner I received. I was in and out in 30 minutes. I absolutely 100% recommend this practice if you want the best care for yourself, you'll regret it if you look elsewhere.

They treat you like a human being and you're involved in you healthcare decisions. When I went there for my first appointment there was a sign or I should say a quote from a patient and it said " When Dr. Smith enters the rooms he makes all your fears go away" I'm a skeptic on most things and I was on this but when I walked out of my appointment and all my appointments since I don't feel I could have said it any better.

He has a way of connecting with you personally and professionally and I would recommend him to anyone! He is a great doctor and my only regret is that is did not find him sooner!
