I liked the personnel at Bay Area Infusiin untiI I went on a new insurance a few months ago. Someone there (who I was never put in contact with in spite of my persistence) changed my pharmacy without my consent. My meds have not always been on time causing me to have to change my apt. No one on a specialty med with a serious disease should have to deal with that. Unacceptable.

No accountability, no responsibility with no overseer available. No personableness nor professionalism. I noticed lately not many people in the chairs receiving meds anymore. Hmm.time to change.

Consider going to your local vet before seeking treatment here. The office staff are highly incompetent The practice does not follow through with promises they make to their patients The doctors have a serious God complex and remove you from your own healthcare decision making process The doctors are dictatorial The doctors have terrible bedside manner and no regard for patient saftey - particularly patient emotional safety. I repeatedly requested to be moved doctors because mine made me feel emotionally unsafe - they refused If you ard looking for quality, patient centered care, look elsewhere.

Infectious disease is never easy, when it's more than you primary care can just handle. We have to come for more advanced care and specialty care, often times because we have not been able to get the answers or cure others couldn't do. When you have a genetic immunity defect problem, you get to go to these specialists from time to time and get to see different groups.

This has turned out to be one of the better ones. They have infusion services here on the premises. The staff has always been happy and helpful. I still have a ways to go. I'll update from time to time. When you need questions figured out or just their services for treatment. I believe you can trust them here.

I would NOT even take the neighborhood stray cats here for care! 5 days to get a STAT appointment for my mom. Scheduling person lies. After calling the referring physician bc I hadn't heard from this office (multiple calls were made to this office by myself & the referring dr's office) they called BAID. Reffering dr's office was told ID drs staff had made multiple calls but couldn't get thru to me, Not 1 call (call logs are proof)!

Strange referring dr had no trouble getting ahold of me, 1 phone call. Today's appt, was a CF! They kept saying "we've changed things, no one knows what to do!" Maybe put out a memo to your staff? This is how to do X, Y, Z. I was handed scripts & told to schedule the things myself. where? How? Nothing's explained, nothing's scheduled for you, no list of possible lab work or US options. just schedule it all yourself. FIND ANOTHER ID DR! DON'T GO HERE!

I am blessed to have been treated by Dr. Vasquez for an extremely difficult infection. It could have been deadly. Fortunately I am symptom free. During my treatment he respected me enough to be honest even when the truth was scary. He and his staff helped me through a very challenging time. The staff treated me well even when I was impatient and difficult.

The facility is equipped to handle many situations. No one wants to be an infectious disease patient. I'm grateful to have Dr. Vasquez and his staff there for me when I needed them. I didn't choose to be sick. Fortunately I chose where to be treated. I pray for your recovery. Don C.

Awful Office Staff! I booked an appointment with this office on 12/20 for 12/29 due to a recommendation from my hospital stay. Not only were they unpleasant to deal with from the beginning, but they were unprofessional. They would not send me any notification via email or otherwise to allow me to create the appointment on my calendar with their address, but they didn't even give me a reminder of my appointment until an hour before I was set to arrive! First, its almost 2017 and you have ipads in your office so I know you guys area aware of current technology, and second, I'm certain you would have charged me for missing an appointment you don't even have the courtesy to remind me of. NEXT, when I arrived they kept asking me about my medical records from the hospital.

They literally had no idea why i was in their office (even after i told them numerous times). While the nurse was trying to collect my vitals, one of the ladies from the front desk kept bursting in to collect information they had more than a week to collect from the hospital that referred me to them. They then proceeded to tell me that they didn't start looking for my information until that morning and that I would have to come back another day!

I have a heart condition and am not able to drive, it's difficult enough for me to plan my doctor visits, let alone reschedule them due their incompetence. The nurse I dealt with was extremely pleasant, but while she was getting my information I could hear all the gossip and trash talk going on with the staff in the very next room. Very unprofessional ALL around. Avoid this place if you value your time.
