Cherokee Health Systems is committed to ensuring every Tennessean has access to effective, high-quality care. We don't think anything should stop someone from getting the care they need, and that's why we make our services available to anyone who needs them. We offer a wide array of comprehensive health services, including primary care, behavioral health, dental, and pharmacy.

All of our services are available to children, adults, and seniors who have coverage through private insurance plans, coverage through state programs like TennCare or CoverKids, and those who have no insurance coverage.
Services
At Cherokee Health Systems, our philosophy is simple. We believe the best approach to wellness involves treating both the body and mind. That's why we care for our patients using an integrated care model. This model presents patients and families with opportunities to become actively engaged in comprehensive healthcare.
To better serve you, Cherokee clinics offer extended hours during the week, and some clinics have weekend hours as well. We also offer an after-hours nursing line for health situations that occur after the clinics have closed. To access this service, you can simply dial the telephone number of your Cherokee clinic and it will route you to the after-hours service.
As part of Cherokee Health Systems' dedication to enhancing life through the blending of primary care and behavioral health care services, we provide extensive specialty care for women in our clinics. Through the women's health program, we provide obstetrics and gynecological services to thousands of women in Tennessee.
Addiction to drugs or alcohol is a serious health condition, and, in recent years, has alarmingly increased in American communities. This is especially true for East Tennessee and other communities in Southern Appalachia. According to the US Centers for Disease Control, deaths from opioid abuse has quadrupled since 1999, accounting for over 30,000 deaths annually.

Dr. Caudle is amazing. He basically saved my life and my baby's life. He sent me to the very best doctors. I wish he could've delivered my baby but because of him we are healthy and happy. The women's clinic is absolutely amazing, patient, and caring. Brittany is also amazing with counseling. I feel like I'm family here and have always gotten the best care. They've always gone above and beyond for me. Thank you!

Go to cherokee in maynardville if you want to be treated like a child by people who lie, who would rather you live with impossible blood pressure. since i've started dealing with these people, it's been nothing abut a hassle of incompetence and carelessness. i take a blood pressure medication which calls for a MAXIMUM of 400 mg/day. i am taking 200. the "nurse practitioner, " named matt, refuses to increase the dose to that amount and every damned month i have to jump through hoops of stupidity just to get a refill. stupidity is not an intellectual deficiency. it's a moral one. they act like i'm asking for a controlled substance. IT'S BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICATION AND I TAKE ONLY HALF THE MAXIMUM RECOMMENDED. drive down to knoxville, maybe you'll get help from compassionate and competent staff, but you will not find that at cherokee maynardville.

My 1st visit was about 4 months with a double ear infection & high blood pressure. Everyone I encountered during my visit were friendly & very helpful. Since that visit I've went back at least 3 more times for other concerns & I've got an appointment in about 3 weeks. However my experience with the guy taking my blood was a disaster & not pleasant.

I'm a recovering addict. I've got 1 year 2 months & 18 day's clean I was a IV user. To be 100% a part of me was getting excited but not for long cuz he hurt me bad. After poking me 3 different spots on my arm he decides he likes the vein's in my hand. He tried like hell but it didn't happen. When he got out of my way I instantly seen he blew my vein out.

A different nurse saw what was going on & decided to help him out. She was able to get a vein on the 1st stick. She is the only 1 I'll let draw blood from me now. I swear I wouldn't let that guy do it again, even if he paid me. I'm grateful for my friend taking me there when she I was sick. Cherokee Health West Fifth Ave. Knoxville.

They're understaffed and move slower than the DMV as a result. That is not an exaggeration either. Also due to the understaffed facility the care and thoroughness is lacking

Mgt needs help. To high of turnovers. Misuse of power all the way around. Men who feel like they can bully women are the worst kind. My doctor Ms. Casey is great I come here bc of her. Starting to think I need to find a new pcp though bc this place is not good.

I am an RN. I now go to Cherokee and the care I've received there is TOP NOTCH! I have never been treated so kindly and caring in an office before. They have some really special people in the office. I am so grateful for the services they provide for me. They truly do God's work there. I can't say enough good things about them. Thank you so much!

I've been going to this place since 2016. That's 5 years now. asking over and over for a good allergy test and at first they claimed I needed to see a specialist because they don't do that there. Then the next time, they said they weren't that accurate. Finally, I got them to do it. For years I've been sick. Years. finally found out I'm lactose intolerant. Yes this place is very inexpensive but I'm telling you now. you get what you pay for. Which isn't much.

If you are going here for Neonatal Care Run the other way! This place is disorganized, unprofessional, and not a place where you want to go for care about your baby! I walked out on my appointment to attend else where. If you want a good provider and your baby to be safe and healthy with proper precautions do NOT book an appointment

I called and asked for help with the MAT clinic. I went through all the initial interviews, and the process has taken 3 weeks. I desperately need help with my addiction.well my appointment to finally go and get help is tomorrow and they tell me today that they can no longer prescribe suboxone!.It takes everything inside me to even ask for help and then they string me along for 3 weeks and then tell me this the day before? I am beyond ever asking for help again, just sign my death certificate now.
