For the people crying over wearing a mask.are you serious? We are entering our third year in this pandemic and you STILL want to cry over a simple mask that you only wear for an hour? It's ridiculous that these people love to look for confrontation. Especially when you have a baby on the way, you should be careful and wearing your mask anyways. Boo hoo, you have to wear a mask in a medical facility like we've been doing this ENTIRE TIME.

I feel soooo sorry for you : grow up! It does not violate any rights as an American. Please do your research before using your Facebook posts as a "reference" for the law. We have a Constitution for Godsake. Anyways, these guys are amazing. The wait was a bit long, but I expected that. It took me two months for a new patient appointment, but it's common in the area.

I absolutely love Dr. Murray and her staff! I have never felt uncomfortable with any of them and always feel that I am getting the best treatment. I always ask questions and have never felt rushed or like my questions are irrelevant to her. I leave the office understanding my treatment plan and knowing that if I have any concerns I can either call and talk to the nurse (which is also amazing), or simply come by.

Not to mention, getting my refills is always a breeze - I use the clinic for women patient portal to communicate with the nurse and get almost immediate responses from her! Dr. Murray delivered my second child 4 years ago and I was so nervous and probably annoying, wanting everything to be perfect since I've had such a bad experience with a previous doctor, and not one time did I have any issues with her or her staff. They have always worked with me. That was 4-5 years ago and I've been seeing her since.

My experience with Dr. Samples was wonderful. I was 41 with my 4th baby, and she was informative, kind, and patient. She has a down-to-earth vibe and is straightforward. I appreciate this because I want to know what is happening without sugar coating. During my labor, my baby's shoulder got stuck in my pelvis. Dr. Samples remained calm and told me exactly what to do while she maneuvered my baby to deliver safely.

The receptionists were always friendly. The lab workers and ultrasound techs and nurses are all top-notch. I also appreciate that masks are mandatory. Highly recommend this office.

I'm only giving 2 stars because of how much I like Dr. Shumaker, but my experience with Clinic for Women was mainly negative for OB care. Her nurse Calissa is absolutely horrible. I told her I was going to faint after my TDAP shot (I had experienced fainting throughout my pregnancy), and she literally said to me "we need this room for another patient".

I fainted all the way on the ground, and the check out girl and phlebotomist helped me through it. I was placed in another room to try and get my bearings back when IN MARCHES CALISSA AGAIN, and guess what she says? "Oh my God now you're taking up this other doctor's room that he needs for another patient". I could not believe her absolute disregard for my well being.

If you're a nurse without compassion, what are you even doing in this field? If she would have acknowledged and dealt with the problem when I told her I was going to faint, it wouldn't have involved four other members of the staff. Absolutely horrible. I reported her to the Alabama Nursing Board, BCBS of AL, and filed a formal complaint with the office.

At my next visit, Dr. Shumaker didn't even know I fainted outside her exam rooms. What kind of disconnect in a patient's care has to be present for your doctor not to know you fainted outside their rooms and caused a big scene involving many people in the office? There is absolutely no excuse for this type of thing to happen while you're pregnant.

I would never recommend this practice because of this. At 6 months pregnant I experienced heavy bleeding in the early hours of a Wednesday morning and had to go to Women's and Children's ER. Dr. Littrel (spelling?) was on call. She never showed up. The nurses in the ER said to the MD there "I don't know.we called her cell phone, her home number.

She never picked up." 3 months later I went into labor in the middle of the night.on a Wednesday. I was terrified she wouldn't show up, but she was already there. She did my C-section and everything went smoothly. I am still numb 14 months later from belly button to incision site. I don't know if this would have happened to me either way. Dr. Loncar needs her own paragraph.

I don't need a doctor to hold my hand, and I love someone who is very direct, but that is not Dr. Loncar. She is downright nasty and rude. She is completely dismissive of any complaint or issue you might have. Her way is the right way, she's the doctor and nothing can change her mind. She was so rude to the nurses after I gave birth I was embarrassed for her!

They told me all the nurses hate her and dread when she's going to be in the hospital. I would not walk but RUN if she was going to have anything to do with my OB care again.

Well, I can't get in, because they make it very clear that masks are required for ALL patients at ALL times. Reviews here show they are tyrannical in enforcing it. I've waited for over a year now for this "pandemic" to be over (two weeks to flatten the curve, sure), and I will again be missing routine check ups, including, now, when I have a need to change an IUD. (They don't care one bit.) When I had my child here, I had one appointment with a lady doctor who told me I had to go to the hospital as my child's heartbeat was not consistent.

I started to cry and she yelled at me, "Oh it's no big deal!" Dr. Wheeler (my main doctor) is knowledgeable and friendly enough. It's too bad I can't get in, because of their mask policy--something I can't believe they can legally enforce. They do nothing. Masks do nothing. Other businesses have "masks required" and "masks optional" time to accommodate customers.

Why can't they do this? I've had nothing but bad *overall* experiences when delivering my children at any hospital. They are uncaring, wake you up every 2 hours, and do not listen to the patient. At the Madison Hospital, I was told I couldn't even eat ice chips. I was threatened that not waking my child up immediately to feed might result in his death.

What a sorry state the world is in. I had no faith in the medical establishment and now I have no respect for them. At least home births are now LEGAL in the state of Alabama. I strongly recommend researching this option. Natural child birth is not as intimidating as you think, especially if you are properly cared for, allowed to move, allowed to eat, etc.

You are meant to feel the pain. It guides you as you give birth. Look into ways to build your own reproductive health, such as belly dancing and diet changes. We are going to have to set up our own stuff outside of the establishment. I will be going to doctors for only the basic minimum, when I have to, largely for stuff I have to have taken care of because past doctors guided me so poorly.

These people are the worst. I thought I was upgrading from OBGYN Associates only to find out they are a private business and could refuse patients for no valid reason or simply for not liking your look, perhaps. They refused to take me (9 months prior to delivery) even though they were taking new patients per my insurance and even though I stated I could see any of the 9 physicians available.

This leads me to believe that the front desk workers didn't like my assertiveness and attention to detail when I asked about my insurance coverage and expected swift response. Terrible service and I do not recommend any future mamas to deal with this much drama when it could be avoided, I had better luck with Tennessee Valley OBGYN! They also stated the office manager would return my call and it's been a month and still haven't heard back from them.

I just moved here 32 weeks pregnant and had my first visit with Dr. Murray and she is amazing! Everyone from the front desk to the ultrasound tech to the doctor was so friendly and kind and made me feel so comfortable! So happy I found them and can't wait to finish out my pregnancy with them!

Terrible experience with Dr Shumaker. We moved to Huntsville in my wife's third trimester. When it came time to have the baby, our third btw, Dr Shumaker not only didn't deliver our baby, who came at 8am on Monday morning, she never even checked on us before or after delivery. Didn't visit, didn't call. The call partner who delivered us was cold and obviously didn't want to be there. Steer clear of this clinic!

Make sure you know about their policies. Any doctor at their office will deliver your baby, doesn't matter your preferences and the nurses will let you know that they don't care, to go and complain to the office manager. Nurse Kalissa was extremely rude and careless. Stay away

I've been a Patient for 22 years. For the last 5 years, I've been disappointed with the professionalism of the staff/nurses. From start to finish it feels like a puppy mill. Get um in, get um out kind of atmosphere. The service doesn't feel personal. I don't feel like anyone there genuinely cares about my well being. Nurses are curt with answers and avoid eye contact.

Cannot say enough great things about Dr Murray. We are pregnant with our second baby and just like with our first, she is always supportive and open about questions and concerns. I've trained and completed half marathons in both pregnancies and as an active mom herself she can relate and walk me through concerns and what to look out for that could be harmful to baby or myself as my body changes.

I'm convinced this is what has led two two great pregnancies and a great delivery with my first. I have recommended 3 other friends to her for their pregnancies and they have all had incredible experiences as well!

I absolutely cannot say enough great things about Dr. Rushing! He has the best bedside manner, sense of humor, and is such a compassionate physician. I went to TCFW for decades until my family Dr. began offering the same services. Many of us ladies dread our annual exams but I never had any qualms about an appointment with TCFW. Not in terms of the staff, the locations, and especially not regarding Dr. Rushing. Again, he is above and beyond compassionate. Dr. Rushing is the best there is. If you are fortunate enough to get him as your OB/GYN, you will not regret it.

I have been seeing Dr. Rushing and would definitely recommend him and this clinic. I had a placental abruption, and our baby boy's heart stopped shortly after 22 weeks. Dr. Wheeler was actually the physician on call that Sunday, but Dr. Rushing came in and performed my emergency C-section with Dr. Wheeler assisting. These two physicians have very different personalities, but I am grateful to them both for their excellent care of me through this nightmare experience, and I know they did everything they could for our baby as well.

The nurses and staff at Clinic for Women have also been great, and for every scheduled appointment, the wait time has been short. I had to wait a little longer when they had to work me in, but that's to be expected.

I've had 4 baby's while going to this clinic and it's a great practice! My doctor is Dr Rushing and he's great! Very chill and open to what kind of delivery experience you want to have (I'm a "go natural" girl and my last birth I delivered using a birthing stool, highly recommend!) I've seen a few of the other physicians there as well and they are all wonderful.

The nurses are also sweet and the front desk ladies are nice as well. One time I came in a day early on accident and they just worked me in that day to save me a trip:) so kind! Just an all around great place:)

I have gone to Clinic for Women now for 30 years. Dr. Delisle is very professional and the office staff is very courteous! Sometimes I have to wait a bit but that's what happens when babies can't all be delivered after hours : Just had my annual appointment and couldn't have asked for me - very competent doctor, sweet and polite nurses, great admin staff and clean, clean, clean offices! I would definitely recommend!

My experience at this location was very Unsatisfactory. I arrived about 10 mins late. I did call. I am new to the area and confused the buildings. The set up was very impersonal and seemed to just herd patients in. I waited over and hour to go back to see the doctor. I told the nurse I could just leave. She was really rude and blamed it on my being late.

She says she can put me in a room. I asked if the doctor would see me soon once I was in the room. The nurse assured me as soon as I was undressed she would be there. I waited another 30 minst ( total 1 and a half hours). I proceded to get dressed. Dr. Samples entered as I was getting dressed. I told her the length of time I'd waited and I was ready to leave.

She nonchalantly told me she was in surgery and that was the reason for the time lapse. She was very unapologetic as I told her the nurse blamed this on my being 10 mins late. Dr. Samples did say that the tardiness was not due to my being 10 mins late. This practice seems to be more focused on numbers than patient care and treatment of the patients.
