Extremly unorganized he was on etnas participating doctors list, they etna, provided information, as directed made an appointment, he looked at xrays said he would do an epidural, I asked if that was not just a temporary fix? he said could last 3 months to a year, i said fine left with scheduled appointment in deloniga, a week and a half out 11 am, all written down on their office stationary Was told I could not drive after the shot, so paid a party to be available.that day for the whole day and the 50 mile to and return trip plus what ever the wait was.

This appoihtmment was made 10 days ago, for fri 11 am? All written down Thursday afternoon they call and say theybhave to reschedule as my insurance has not gotten back with an approval? I asked that a week and a half ago? She said she called in yesterday? I was given a An appointment slip stating fri 11 am 1.5 weeks ago, why would you wait until 2 days before the proceedure to callmit in?

I called thebinsurance co stating this is the doctor YOU RECCOMEDED? Seeing the negative posts here i have decided to go elsware, extremely poor communication extremely poor service, i think he is $$$ on the epidurals as he made no effort to suggest the pros and cons of surgery? Said I was not a candidate.for surgery? Neck or back? But would give me and reccoment shots?

I honestly don't understand the 2 star rating! But let me add my 5 stars to the pot. I've seen Dr. Binkley, at both locations, on several occasions. The staff and nurses are always kind, professional, patient, and caring. And as far as Dr. Binkley is concerned, as long as he remains in practice, he's the only orthopedic doctor I'll ever see. When a VA doctor told me I had arthritis in my wrist, Dr. B. knew immediately after examination that it was tendinitis.

He treated it that day, and I haven't had a problem with it since (2 years now). When a VA doctor told me my knee pain was due to arthritis, Dr. B. ordered an MRI and saw that I had a torn meniscus. He explained the tear and my options succinctly. I waited 11 months before having surgery (3 days ago). The entire experience. from the moment I signed in, to the moment I was wheeled out the door. was exceptional.

The staff, the nurses, the anesthesiologist. all of them, were superb. The procedure was flawless. They took such great care of me. from start to finish. Thank you Northview. You guys are the absolute best!

Dr. Binkley's training is in general orthopedics, which focuses on joints like knees and hips, not spinal conditions. Yet, he performs epidural steroid injections at his surgery center without any formalized training on how to do these procedures. This is like going to a dermatologist to get a brain tumor removed. If you need a spinal procedure done in a safe manner and actual want it to work, go to an interventional pain doctor, not this guy.

I hurt my shoulder at work. The first time I saw Dr. Binkley I asked him shoulder injury could be effecting my wrist, ring and pinky. which yes it can. He told me straight to my face "no. There's no way a shoulder injury can affect your hand in any way. I later got an mri and on the follow up visit to get my MRI copy and Results, he walked in to the room I was in said "your results came back almost completely normal" keep in mind that when he walked in I was in tears because of how much pain I was in.

I asked what was wrong and he then said again "your results are almost completely normal. He then turned around and started recording on his phone and proceeded to say "*my name* Mri came back completely normal no signs of etc.". He then scheduled me for two months of physical therapy in which I still have not been diagnosed with anything. The guy at physical therapy has figured out more of what wrong with my arm than the doctor that I supposed to be diagnosing me.

I'm still so unsure of what's actually wrong with me. I DO NOT. Recommend this orthopedics to anyone. Mainly because of the doctors. The nurses are nice and I actually feel bad for them being stuck in his practice. I have a line on my elbow that I have pointed out. That gets bigger when my pain flairs up. He completely ignored what I said and I have yet to get any word on mri as has my physical therapist.

Them and I have requested it multiple times even when I was there. I was told that it wasn't in the system yet. The same day I got my results. Again please do not waist your time. I've been going here for 4 months. The lack of patient care is crazy.

I really don't like to write a poor review, because there is so much complaining these days. However my experience was so distasteful that I'd like to save others the experience. After waiting for close to an hour I got MAYBE 2 minutes of the Dr.'s disinterested time. During which he didn't even look me in the eyes enough to recognize that I had a face covering, so asked me to, "put my mask on".

I only got a short disinterested commentary on my injury, a referral for Physical Therapy, and a script for pain pills. I DO NOT want to simply "pain pill" my pain away. I want relief based on effective treatment. Very underwhelming to say the least.

Having surgery and recovering after rupturing my Achilles was an experience I don't wish for anyone. It challenged me physically, mentally and emotionally. I discovered I had cast claustrophobia which almost pushed me into a realm in my mind I had no control over. Through the entire experience from initial office visit, surgery, follow-up appointments, physical therapy and the visit when I was released I received excellent care from Dr. Binkley and his excellent office staff.

I don't consider myself as a "good patient ". I felt moody and negative with anxiety on top. Calling the nurses Robin & Sarah several times I received calm & supportive attention. I was given information about what to expect during healing process which was right on. Finally, I am through the difficult stuff and have my mobility back. I am so thankful to Northview Orthopedics for being there and getting me back to enjoying my life again.

I am a little baffled by the negative reviews posted here. I went to Dr. Binkley to have him examine an injured knee. I found both him and his staff professional, likable, and easy to deal with. I arrived on time and had to fill out the usual paperwork. Everyone saw me promptly. I had x-rays taken and the doctor saw me, and I was in and out in about an hour. I don't doubt that others have had a bad experience for one reason or another, but I felt I should post this because I had nothing but a positive experience there.

My father is (was) a patient. Listen to the warnings of all the other reviews posted, they are EXTREMELY accurate. We have experienced the WORST that healthcare has to offer at this practice. As a nurse I have a pretty good idea of surgical clearance requirements and I am astonished at the lack of guidelines this office has in regard to patient safety and recovery.

If you call and leave a message for a call back.you can expect to wait days, if it's your MRI results, again you can expect to wait days and STILL you will have to chase the office staff down. Rude, condescending and lacking medical knowledge are the words I can use to convey my personal experience with this office personnel. I understand doctors want to enhance their profit margins, but at the expense of patient care should not be the way to do it. This is not our first experience with them, but it is our last. Too many good, honest doctors out there to compromise my family.

My wife's visit to this facility is an exact replication of the remark Mr. Benjamin Young made, earlier. Despite Medicare A and B, Secondary with BC/BS they demanded a payment in advance of treatment. The payment was called a co-payment. We have no co-payments with our coverage! I have filed a complaint with my Bank placing the payment in dispute, I have filled a complaint with BC/BS.

I have asked my Doctor to stop referring patients to Northwest Orthopedics because of this issue. These people are intentionally and with full knowledge of the deceit involved demanding money not due. Their contract with BC/BS states the conditions for reimbursements. I recommend you find another MRI service and I would recommend that you not do any business with this facility. These people, the business office of this firm, are knowingly and with intent taking advantage of patients.

I have been a patient at Northview Orthpaedics for more than 10 years. I have had extremely professional ortho care through 4 surgeries and multiple x-rays, injections and mri's. I have never had anything but professional, caring nursing, front office and billing office interactions. As a medical practice office manager, I expect quality care and excellent support staff and have always received that level of care. As a Fulton County resident, I still choose to drive to Dahlonega for care from Dr. Binkley and staff.

Shady billing practices! They try to maximize how many times they can bill you and your insurance. For example, They separate your back into 3 different sections, requiring 3 plus different office visits/bills for one issue. They try to put you under for a simple cortisone shot, which I was told by another doctor is malpractice and done to charge your insurance more. Doctor is horrible, no bedside manner, barely examines you and rushes out of the office. I recommend you take your business somewhere else, anywhere else!

Co-pay hogs. All told this place did nothing to treat me, just kept having me come back for diagnostics, MRI machine was supposedly unavailable and to come back in a week, then come back for the findings etc. I paid 600.00 in co-pays plus they billed the insurance company, I also paid for x-rays in Gainesville, what sort of orthopedic office doesn't have x-ray?

They may be good doctors, I wouldn't know since I was never treated, but I do know that they can work the system and the patients. I do feel good about contributing to the convertible Mercedes the doctor was driving.

They robbed me for $400 and told me my thumb was NOT broken even though the x-rays I brought in showed separation. After leaving in pain with a little splint and 3 doctors later all telling me my thumb was broken, I had it set and felt a million times better. I was told the thumb was out of its natural position by three other doctors and a real cast was put on.

I was much relieved to have an important finger fixed for real and extremely disappointed in the orthopedic surgeons at Northview Associates for neither detecting the problem nor correcting it properly. They refused to admit they were wrong too. I got the impression that they really do not care for their patients at all and were out to get my money or steer me into an unneccesary surgery. Shame on you.

Poor service, poor business practice, do not use these people. This is what's wrong with Health Care - $400 for a 10 minute appointment with an incorrect diagnosis and procedure. Look elsewhere!
