Everyone is the utmost of kindness, professional and helpful. They actually listen to you and seem to understand. Kudos to my Dr (Steven Hauser) for referring me. Got me in pretty quick too. Don't let the full waiting room fool you. They move pretty quickly.yet they do not rush with you!

An hour in the waiting room, still waiting, watching now 6 separate people come in and go back in 5 minutes. Why am I waiting? I don't know as no one has communicated with me. I hope care is better than service Thank you for your response. My understanding from your response is that it's my responsibility as the patient to do the job of the staff to ensure that I am treated in a timely manner and my responsibility to make contact with you after I have communicated with you and had no personal response. That is a good message for patients to understand in future interactions with this office

I have two boys, within the past year, both boys have had to visit Emerge Ortho. First time for a bad knee, the second time for a fracture in the wrist. Each time we visited we never had to wait more than 10 minutes before being called back. Our most recent visit (for the wrist) was so quick that it was impressive. We arrived at 3:30 and we were leaving by 5.

We had a consultation, an x-ray, and then sat through the process of them wrapping the arm and scheduling the follow up. I couldn't be happier with the service we received. On top of the quick response time : I've yet to encounter any rude staff members. They are all friendly and knowledgeable and quick. I recommend them to everyone!

Absolutely every moment of my experience at this practice was stellar. The people behind the desk, the medical assistant physicians assistant and the doctor were all so attentive so considerate thorough and did not leave until I was completely clear about what my plan of treatment was. I came in terrified and I left feeling relieved and completely taken care of

Was a very friendly atmosphere. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The Doctor took the time to explain everything in detail. Medications, exercises, and possible procedures that might need done if my sciatica doesn't go away or worsen. Very informative. Would definitely recommend this office to others.

I have had many surgeries with different doctors and I am really pleased with all of them. My experiences have been handled with care and understanding of my situations. The doctors all have compassion and listen to your problems. The staff is very helpful and understanding. I have referred many of my friends and family to Emerge Ortho and they all love the doctors also.

From check-in to check-out, my experience was great! Went to the walk-in clinic in Arden and the entire staff and Dr. Shea were amazing. Very professional, great customer service, and overall a friendly atmosphere. Able to get treatment and can honestly say, I noticed a difference immediately upon walking out. Told a co-worker about my experience and they too had the same experience (with Dr. Shea and the PT Center). 100% recommend!

I came here for a second opinion after feeling really uncomfortable with the first specialist I saw in Clyde. Everyone here from start to finish was warm, friendly, and made me laugh. This is my first broken bone and Dr. Alejandro was thorough and explained my options really well along with making me feel very comfortable and confident in her abilities as a surgeon. I can't recommend this place enough

Dr. Shea is everything one wants in a doctor. He addresses your relevant medical issues, he listens to your concerns, and answers all questions while maintaining a professional, yet caring and personable manner. The only thing I would like to see are more people wearing masks in the waiting room. Some of us are senior citizens with underlying medical issues.

I've had a burning nerve pain in my right shoulder for about 22 years. I came here to figure out what was wrong so I can get it fixed. Dr. Gobel is good, gave me two injections. Wanted me to do PT even tho I failed it in the past. I just wanted an MRI. I went to the PT office on Livingston and saw Taylor. Love her, she listened and only did soft tissue work so we wouldn't aggravate the shoulder again.

I had to wait over a month to go back due to my changing jobs and waiting to get my new Insurance squared away. When I called to start my appointments again, Amanda said that because it has been over a month they had to charge me for a whole new evaluation even tho I communicated to her that I was waiting on my new insurance so I wouldn't have to reimburse my husband's insurance for any services they provided.

I feel what Amanda told me is extremely unethical. I could understand needing a new evaluation if it had been 3 months or more since I had been seen but not barely over a month due to a job and insurance change. I will not be back if this is how EmergeOrtho operates their business. I feel they just wanted a second higher insurance payout from the new insurance.

The wait times are absolutely horrendous. I don't understand why I pay upfront before the service, just to receive such despicable customer service. I spent 20 mins in the waiting room, which is pretty good. Now I've been in the patient's room for 40 minutes. The office is not busy, it makes absolutely no sense, for a patient to be waiting this long. I was told they'll be with me "shortly" which I guess shortly for them means 2 hours. Disgusting!

I can't comment on the care of this organization because I was never given a call back. My son broke a bone Friday night (Dec. 20). After being seen at the ER we were directed to call Otho Monday morning (23rd). I made the call at 8:15. I explained that he had been seen at the ER and that I had the Xrays and notes. The girl seemed like she wasn't understanding anything that was told to her.

I had to repeat myself multiple times. She said she would send the note back to the doctor. We waited several hours before calling Carolina Hand who worked us in immediately. Today, (Dec. 27) I still have not heard for BRB&J. I called to make someone aware because if it's happening to me, I am certain it is happening to others. They explained that they didn't get my records until the 24th.

I explained that I had my records. I understand they were closed on the 25th but no one called on the 26th or 27th. If you're too busy for new patients. you should make that known! This is a poor way to run a business!

10/29/2019 Horrible place. Over a year now since I went to them for an injured foot. Now I'm receiving collections for procedures that I had to have done numerous times because of their incompetence. I should have listened to everyone when they advised me not to go there. They will milk you for every little thing even with good medical insurance. Stay away.

I was a patient of two doctors at this practice, and have nothing but a glowing report to make from the office staff to the doctors. I had bilateral knee replacement surgery as well as dual carpal tunnel surgery. The months dealing with this practice were very positive. I was welcomed by a busy, but well-trained efficient staff who accommodated my every request. The billing office was very patient to explain everything to me. And the doctors were the best that I have ever had. Top notch! Highly recommended.

Treated like a drug addict trying to get meds. Pulled the muscle from my shoulder to neck. Was in a lot of pain. Was interfering with work. Dr. wouldn't do or give me anything for the pain. I was to just suffer until I started therapy the next week. Pffft! In the meantime I contacted my MD who prescribed muscle relaxers and I found a video on YT for stretches that were awesome and helped to alleviate some of the pain.

First of all So many people complain about the wait at doctors offices. It is just anticipated and I think also forgotten when the doctor actually spends time with you that means somebody else is waiting in the waiting room. So yes we did have a wait but once seen I felt very comfortable about the care, the careful listening and explaining of potential symptoms and results of exam and x-rays as well as the treatment plan prescribed. Both the medical assistant and the doctor were courteous, concerned and good listeners. I would recommend this clinic without a doubt. Thank you.

Broke my foot and had to go in several times for x-rays to see how it was progressing. My doctor was really nice, but I waited OVER an hour each time I went after they did the X-ray to see the doctor. It's so unbelievably frustrating! I hope I never break another bone just so I don't have to waste so much time here.

Waiting 20 minutes to check in at the front desk is kind of unbelievable! Seriously, you have people with bad knees and bad backs and you're asking them to wait in line for 20 minutes on a Tuesday morning-with no emergencies to take care of- is unacceptable. Dr. Saenger has a great reputation and seems to have done a very good job with my wife's total knee replacement. Time will tell, of course, as she's only 2 weeks post-op but no complaints with Dr. Saenger.

Very poorly managed practice. We have seen 3-4 doctors at least, who are good, but all rushed, too much so, I think. It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to reach anyone on the phone, an issue I've been dealing with all summer. All calls are directed via a central number, which can leave you on hold ("Your call is very important to us.") forever, and, when you then ask fir a certain person, office, or department, you get put into a queu that NEVER answers (4 attempts today; I gave up).

Before someone says, "Welcome to today's medicine, " I'll say I'm 71 and have relationships with too many doctors in BC and FL, and this is far and away the worst to deal with administratively, which colors the whole relationship.

I saw Dr. Cammarata for a broken finger. He was brusk and non-communicative. The 3 times I saw him, he looked at the X-ray that had just been taken, examined my injured finger and ordered a splint. He was non-communicative and gave me no information about the healing progress of my break. I had to walk out of the exam room and find him to ask my questions.

He made little eye contact. He did nothing that made me feel cared for or seen as a whole person and not just a broken finger. The front desk is disorganized, with little space for all of the people working there. They frequently had to ask one another how to do something. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Dr. Cammarata.

What a mess of an office. Called 3 weeks to get surgery scheduled. Never a call back. Finally had to go there and then was made to wait 35 minutes as the scheduler finished her lunch. I asked for the office manager. She wasn't in that day. She needs to be there EVERY day the way that office is running. The next day the scheduler called me to schedule my surgery, not even remembering I'd been there the day before. Went to the wrong address they've moved and not changed the address on this site -- beware! -- and another person came in right after me having gone to the other place too. Poorer communication couldn't be found in Asheville.

Not the friendliest place or the fastest service. They could try harder to make it a friendlier and faster paced office.

Horrible. Dr. Cammarata is mean, has an attitude and I will never go back to them. I'd rather go to NYC where they have real doctors. They don't care if you're in agony. No pain meds. A heartbreaking experience. First do no harm doesn't apply here. BEWARE. You will regret it. I was a healthcare professional. I know a good Dr when I meet one. There are no good doctors in this practice. It's a joke.

Walk-in's are welcome! Turns out, I have a stress fracture in my foot so I will be in a boot for a while. Thanks Blue Ridge Bone & Joint! So, this place isn't the prettiest. It's a little dated and the people behind the counter seem totally frantic which can make some people uneasy since it is a doctors office. They got me in quickly without too much sitting and waiting. Gave me an x-ray, gave me a boot, and I was on my way.

The staff was friendly and it wasn't the worst experience I have had at the doctors office but I was pleased with the time management on their end. I will be going back in a few weeks to check out my foot and make sure it's going well!

Good luck! They refuse appointments and are incredibly rude. I have been trying to call for weeks to get a follow up appointment for an injury to my foot and ankle. They refused to switch doctors when he had no times I could come in. Then told me I could only see the doctor I started with even though he had no appointments. So I could come in and get fired from my job or not come in at all.

I kept calling and finally got a nice person who informed me the doctor I had been seeing was not even a foot and ankle doctor and scheduled me with another doctor 2 weeks out. So all told I will have waited 5 weeks to get an appointment as my ankle has continuously gotten worse. If you are at urgent care or the er and they do a referral BEG them not to send you here, anywhere but here.

I'm sorry, but it should not be impossible to get a prescription for over 24 hours because a Doctor is in "clinic." I would have been better off going to the ER. I was fine with spending nearly 3 hours here yesterday to be seen, but after calling at 9 am to say I'm in incredible pain and couldn't sleep all night, there should be some way that a prescription can be picked up by 5 pm. This place is ridiculous.

I went and saw Dr Groh for a broken finger. He diagnosed my problem and scheduled surgery for next day. Surgery was excellent and follow up has been very timely and comprehensive. Very pleased with his skill and interpersonal touches. Highly recommend.

I have had a wonderful experience at Blue Ridge Bone and Joint. I went to another practice which misdiagnosed my back pain as ligament inflammation. Less than a week later I could barely walk and went to Blue Ridge's clinic for a second opinion. I was able to get in very quickly and the receptionists were very warm and friendly. I saw Dr. Burnworth who was very compassionate and understanding.

He took x-rays, did an exam and knew right away what to do. He also set me up with an MRI which confirmed a bad bulging disc and herniated disc, as well as an appointment with a spine specialist. Dr. Burnworth called me in 24 hours personally to tell me the results of my MRI rather than making me wait to see the spine specialist. He was very understanding and encouraging as a runner himself, how difficult this pain was and took a lot of time to answer my questions.

I also saw Dr. Goebel who was fantastic and so informative. He was very supportive about avoiding surgery and trying physical therapy first. It was so nice to have doctors who are on your side and understand how hard it is to be an injured athlete. I never had to wait long to go back to the exam room or wait for the doctor. They are very efficient here but also really take the time to help you! I highly recommend, I won't go anywhere else.

Con artist doctor visit. I am still refusing to pay for my visit, and it is a shame my insurance paid this place hundreds of dollars already. "Dr. E" Spent 5 mins talking to me and not really listening as I explained the history of an injury. Doctor had the nerve to disagree with the findings of an actual MRI that I brought with me and told me there was NOTHING that they could do for me.

I then went to Southeastern Sports Medicine where the doctor was AMAZING and had nothing but treatment management options including a knee brace, joint injections, PT, and future surgery options

Everytime I come here, I wait a half hour in the lobby and 30-45min in the room waiting on the doctors. They have the worst time management of any doctors office i've ever been to. It would be nice if they made a discount to your bill for the time and money it takes out of your work day. They have no compassion for your time.
