Dr. Gragnola is a great doctor - spends quality time with his patients. We've been going to him for years, even though the office is 45 minutes from our home. - 1 * The office setting is confusing, to say the least. They send you to one of three areas with paperwork to place in a basket, which you kind of have to search for. There isn't really an order to the patients placing their paperwork into the basket, they take you back in random order. see, all very confusing.

Although the doctor is great at what he does, waiting for over an HOUR after your scheduled (weeks in advance) appointment not just once or twice - but THREE times is ridiculous. The receptionists have no concept of quality customer service or friendliness, compassion or interest and obviously do not care about your time that is being wasted waiting, without anyone giving you an update.

One of the nurses poked their head out and said they were just getting a room ready - 20 minutes later, we were still sitting in the waiting room and had read through all 14 magazines. After the hour + of waiting, we decided to leave and cancel the appointment. We told them we should not pay the cancellation fee [for obvious reasons]. The receptionist said she couldn't get us in for another few weeks and asked if we were sure we didn't want to wait any longer. Really?

Would YOU wait any longer? It's not like there was an emergency or that we made a last-minute appointment for urgent reasons. This was a follow-up appointment made three weeks in advance. We said we would not schedule because we would not be returning to the practice; they didn't seem to care. It is a shame that we have to leave such a wonderful doctor, but feel like the time spent waiting was beyond ridiculous. We are extremely patient people!
