Faxed my records to the wrong number (they used the phone instead of fax) a week ago, and now there is no one at the records dept to answer my call- in the middle of the day o Tuesday. No option to leave a voicemail. Very frustrating. Otherwise, my providers have been good.

My husband is trying to get costs for an ACL surgery and no one will return his calls or emails in a timely manner. The manger suggested making a $200 appt with the dr just to schedule a surgery appt rather than relying on his assistant to return a call or email. Is this the way Boulder medical suggests managing precious resources? If yes I suggest you go somewhere else more effective and communicative.

I would write an absolutely glowing review of our doctor; we love her. The other docs in the group are good too! But the BMC system itself is broken. For example, last week it took 6 phonecalls to get through to a scheduler. And all I had really wanted or needed to do was speak with a nurse about a kid with diarrhea. Speaking with a doctor or nurse simply wasn't an option. BMC, or at least the docs we see, are not set up to allow for any direct communication with providers. This is frustrating.

Dr. Birmingham is the sole reason I come here! He is amazing and I could never say enough great things about him. 100% the best doctor I have ever come into contact with. He has an amazing bedside manner and it's a pleasure to be around him. Which I feel is often hard to come by. He's been helping me so much with a reoccurring problem I'm having and I couldn't be more thankful.

I moved to Brighton but still make the trip to see him because he is worth it. I have pretty bad anxiety and he is calm and makes me feel comfortable. He's extremely knowledgeable and I trust him completely. I had to get some unpleasant things done but I honestly didn't even notice he did them. I was shocked when I was done because he did it so fast & clean. That's how great of a doctor he is. Highly highly recommend him to everyone I know.

Urgent Care Services are very mediocre at best. Untimely responses to patients in need followed by exorbitant insurance co pays. Poor communication to patient after her urgent televisit with 0 follow up. Customer Advocate Service was excellent to warrant an extra star

Boulder Medical Center is another disorganized, soulless health care factory that does not care of the most important part of a working health care system: the reliable human relationship. I made an appointment with Dr. Graham and had his assistant check my insurance information beforehand and I was reassured that my insurance would cover my visit.

I went with an urgent health concern and had the recommended tests done. A couple of days later I received an alarmist phone call from Graham's assistant that the results were worrisome. When I asked her to explain further, she said that she was not able to give me any more information, but I had to see the doctor. The next available appointment was more than two weeks later.

I tried to sign up to their patient portal as a way to at least send a message to the doctor, but the access was denied. I called again and learned that there must be a problem with the system and an IT expert would call me shortly. This never happened either. On top of all this stress, I received a bill for the visit, as the Medical Center does not accept my insurance, as was promised by Graham's assistant.

Yesterday was my annual skin exam and I was delighted and impressed with the experience. Dr. Jenna Peart, MD performed the exam and distinguished herself by several techniques that I wish all doctors used. First she asked good questions and most importantly listened to my responses and second, used her training and experience to ask me good questions and then use her knowledge and diagnostic skills to complete her evaluation of my general skin condition and health.

At no time was I rushed, or was she in a hurry to move on to the next patient. Boulder Medical Clinic is very fortunate to have such a skilled and compassionate professional employed as a care provider. Cress Hart

If you want patient advocacy and respect do not go here. The gi department specifically is a joke. I waited a full hour only to be harassed by a pa about the procedure I was there to schedule without even being given an explanation initially. She only explained herself when it benefited her to sound right. These people need to understand people who are struggling and in pain are coming to them.

They need to be patient and respectful. I quite frankly think this pa deserves to be exposed and avoided at all costs. Elizabeth Helgans is extremely hostile and close minded and I'm not sure she even wants to be helping patients, I think she would just rather be right. I reached out to admin and got an unauthentic response saying they were gonna connect me to patient advocacy.

Haven't heard anything. after reading these other reviews sadly I'm realizing I'm not the only one. I wish essential companies like this would actually care. I will be driving further just to avoid this treatment

Impossible to speak to a human on the phone or get a return call even with pressing medical issues. Edit: I see your reply, I have left several messages with providers and they take weeks to get back to me. I tried to set up a patient portal several times and every time I am transferred to a receptionist the call drops. I have called the patient advocate line about a month ago and left a message and I have yet to hear back.

I will be switching providers as soon as they return my calls so I can ask for my medical records. Also you have a typo in your response, it is clear this is copy and pasted and you don't actually care about my concerns.

I had thumb surgery with Dr. Rog last week. I believe he is a talented surgeon and has great communications skills. From a medical standpoint, I have no hesitation recommending Dr. Rog's services. Where the BMC organization could use some improvement is in their communication systems. The phone system is ineffective in reaching the relevant department.

Too much hold time and getting tossed around the grid. They seem to be operating with 80's technology and need to come up to modern standards like a good patient portal, email system, and phones that work. This is a shame since again, the medical staff is top notch.
