I went to the orthopedic doctor, in Lafayette facility. I wasn't sure if I need surgery after an ski accident not very serious, but my knee was hurting, and I couldn't ski for the rest of the season. I didn't like the orthopedic doctor that saw me, I didn't feel the doctor care about my knee issue, she even did not touched my knee to check me. The assistant never called me back when I requested a second appointment to read my MRI, and I was worry maybe I needed surgery.

In that moment I changed doctors, for another recommendation in Denver. Also, I tried a physical therapist in the facility in Boulder, but I wasn't impress either, and it is expensive.

I saw Dr. Seng for a knee injury and was disappointed in the care and service I was provided. He was extremely brief, did not provide feedback or explanations to my questions, and it seemed as though he had somewhere else to be. My appointment lasted ~10 minutes and felt extremely rushed. The medical assistant or nurse was more helpful and informative. I will not be doing any follow up appointments here.

The care is great and I really like my surgeon. The waiting times are very disrespectful though. I've been coming here for a while now. The waiting times are consistently between 30-60 minutes. They once managed to keep me waiting for almost 90 minutes!

I was excited about this appointment and looking forward to getting on the mend after years of debilitating back issues. However, after seeing Ilya Igolnikov I discovered it wouldn't be possible, at least not here. He was extremely rude, dismissive and didn't even evaluate me. He was constantly looking down at his watch as if he had somewhere else to be and told me he "likes his patients to take care of themselves" and that he "only sees us maybe once per year".

He then said he'd refer me to PT and slighted Dr. Rajpal (a renowned neurosurgeon at another practice) who I was scheduled to see shortly afterwards. It was unbelievable. They then had the nerve to charge me $500 for a pointless 10 minute appointment! When I called in they assured me they'd handle it and stated this "doctor" was new there and didn't represent their practice.

One month later and they're still trying to charge me with no follow up. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE. They will make you feel worse about yourself than you did before and offer no help for whatever ailment you are dealing with. 0 STARS.

After doing extensive research to find a Dr. I thought was very qualified I found Dr. William C. Kramer. I visited Dr. William C. Kramer to consult with someone about my bunion and know my options to fix it. The first thing out of Dr. William C. Kramer mouth was, "The pain is most likely in your head". After steering him back into the direction of telling me my options and the risk of said options I won't be returning to Dr. William C. Kramer if/when I decide to have surgery on my bunion. Thanks for making me feel like a junkie trying to get opioids.

I was disappointed with my interactions with Dr. Master and his assistant Tammi. It felt like Dr. Master was (too) eager to suggest several different expensive procedures for a minor hand issue, which felt uncomfortable and not reasonable to me. Later my friends (all in the medical field) told me it's because he's a co-owner with the goal of making money.

In addition, his assistant Tammi was extremely rude to me over the phone despite my attempt to ask a few insurance related questions. It was not a good experience and I will not be returning. I'm sorry I spent so much money for nothing but feeling frustrated.

Dr. Leland was my second opinion on a dance-related deformity in my ankle. He gave me such succinct and thorough consultation, and even helped me out further by removing a pesky cyst in my wrist while I was under. Carrie, the on-call nurse, was ALWAYS responsive, patient, and very clear in her recommendations throughout my recovery. Amazing support!

Their office filled extra pain and nausea meds same-day. They were patient with me and listened to my frantic questions. My post op nurse was so kind through my panicky, emotional waking-up. As a highly-sensitive body-conscious person going through a total ankle reconstruction, I was braced for the worst, but I don't think this experience could have gone better!

My only complaint would be for them to be more explicit in the post-surgery instructions and what to expect. They were kind of vague that it could be bad, but not explicit in the ways it could be bad and what to do. I had some bad swelling inside the heel of the cast as my nerve block wore off that my caregiver (a nurse) and I were totally unprepared for. Had to rip the cotton out from the cast to free my swollen heel and double the dose of pain meds that first night. Probably implied, but when I am doped up and in severe pain, I personally would have liked explicit 1-2-3 instructions! Incredible team and would highly recommend.

Saw Dr. Bowman for hip pain. After an expensive MRI and Xray, he informed me that I would need a very complicated and rare surgery with a long recovery time, the details of which I found horrifying! After a week of worry and anxiety, I went to University Hospital for a second opinion. I saw a PA, a Resident and a Surgeon who all stated I didn't need to undergo such risky surgery.

All 3 were in agreement that I needed a total hip replacement- very routine. I was so shocked, expecting the worst because of Dr. Bowman's assessment, I asked for the radiologist at University to review my imaging to confirm I didn't need the more complex surgery. He agreed with the doctors and PA- just a hip replacement. Thank God I didn't just take Bowman's word for what was needed. I would be recovering for months and months rather than weeks not to mention the risks involved.

I visited Dr. Kramer for my chronic flat foot issues and we set a surgery date in December. After 3 months I was walking well and I am able to run without issues now, My surgically reconstructed foot is now my 'good' foot and my progress is ahead of schedule. As well as Dr. Kramer, The Physician Assistant, Brian Beltrani was extremely easy to work with in follow up visits.

He made everything clear for me and explained why things needed to happen in the way they did. I felt comfortable throughout the entire healing process. finally, I worked with Ingrid Ching in Physical Therapy and made even more progress under her guidance. I couldn't recommend this staff more. They are helping me live the life I want and get back to being active.

I have had the most extraordinary experiences both with Dr. Master and 9 years ago with Dr. Leland. They are both exceptional doctors, craftsmen, and minds. As an artist it is extremely important that their work is architecturally and esthetically beautiful as well as functional. All their work with me was above and beyond my expectations. I am deeply grateful.

I am so disappointed with Anthem that this work will no longer be covered by them. All I can hope is that the U of C will consider another supplemental insurance company. I have been so fortunate with your care. Thank you for the privilege.
