This is the first time in 75 years of life, that I have walked out of an optometrist with eyeglasses that work perfectly the first time and didn't have to come back for some kind of adjustment. What a rare treat!

They had weeks to get my contacts ordered and in before I had to leave town for my wedding. They assured me before I made the appointment that they would do so, and then at the appointment assured me again that they would expedite the order to get the contacts in on time. They didn't. When I called to ask them to send my contacts to me at my destination wedding location, they refused, insisting I needed to schedule another appointment to pick them up.

I've been wearing contacts for over 20 years and never had to make another appointment to pick up the contacts after they come in. When I asked them to send my contact prescription to me so I could get my contacts locally, they refused. They had lied to my face multiple times promising to get my contacts to me before my wedding. They then refused to send them, or my contact prescription records from the eye exam, which is illegal- those are my medical records and my eye contacts prescription that my insurance already paid them for!

When I got upset over the phone at their incompetence, and their attempt to ruin my wedding- the contacts person refused to even talk to me- refused to offer any means to solve the problem they caused- even had the nerve to tell me to calm down and then hung up on me! They refused to send my contacts prescription records to my new-found eye Dr in the local area of my wedding- causing me to have to pay out of pocket for another eye exam.

The other place got me in and out of their office with my exam contacts prescription and 10 pairs of contacts I was able to leave with that same day! This place couldn't get me contacts in weeks, and refused to give me my exam records. Never go to this place- such a scam- everything, even picking up your contacts or prescription records requires another appointment to be made so they can charge you for another office visit.

They are liars and thieves who take your money, lie to you about what they can deliver on, steal your eye exam medical records so you can't even use it to get Eyewear elsewhere. This place almost ruined my wedding with their complete incompetence and inability to deliver on basic eyecare services.

Back in December 2021 I had an appointment for glasses same day I made an appointment for the beginning of year for contact lenses. I had a 1:15pm appointment they didn't take me until 2:00pm the technician who was a student start checking me and I told her my appointment was for contact lenses then she told me I had to go to the front desk. I was told to pay $100 for which I did.

After I paid They asked me to wait because the technician was with another customer and the other students didn't know how to check for contact lenses. There was one doctor in the office. I waited about half hour more until I was called by the same technician. I gave the technician the brand and readings of my contact lenses from back to 2019. She checked my eyes but she went back and forth with the doctor.

Finally she dialect my eyes and in about 15 minutes the doctor examined my eyes. The doctor was apologetic for the delay and was nice. When I left the office I noticed I had the same readings from my previous reading from 2019. How it can be that in 3 years my eyesight has not changed. I am sure she copied everything same readings in my last prescription. I paid $100 for the same prescription. The front desk employees are not professional at all I guess they more training how to treat customers.

Waste of time and money where you actually pay more for less. Its a rip off. Save your money and go somewhere else. Cowardman Eye Center is not worth it. My first visit was my last.

I have been going to Braverman eye center for years and they have always been very nice and caring. I would highly recommend them. They take the time to answer any questions. Great staff!

I think there attitudes could be better, an exception would be an Asian gal who checked my eyes, I also think Rick in the glasses dept. Can do with a refresher course in talking to people. Your's truly John c. Cubeta.

Very, very poor service. Before the day of my procedure received a call from them (Mrs cecilia), the machine was broken but doctor Braverman could use another at Miami Beach Surgery, and the day available was dic 10. I agreed to be there. For my surprise, after an hour waiting I was informed that the procedure was canceled. They just couldn't reach me. ( using the same way they did before). Or maybe text message.

My mom had a horrible experience, do not go to this office! They only have students to see patients and dr Braverman has no manners. Used to be a caring doctor, he is not interested in patient care anymore. Save your co pay money and go see someone else, this office is horrible.

Customer service is subpar. If you're looking for a professional ophthalmologist please go to Eye Surgery Associates. Now that I read the other reviews I understand and I'm glad I'm not the only one that has been through it. I booked an appointment back in October and they booked me for a follow up two months after. I cancelled the appointment. I called again today to schedule a new appointment and got scold at through the phone for an appointment that I had already cancelled.

She was acting like I should be banned from the practice. Anyway, called today to book an appointment. Felt rushed through the phone call. Explained that I had questions and she said "well I'm not the provider so I can't say anything" well how about you let me speak first and let me explain myself. I work at a medical place, I know it can hectic. I know I understand.

But it would make it easier if you had a little of compassion and patience for your patients. If you don't think you can do that then maybe healthcare is not the field for you. I'm so sorry for the doctors and staff in the back that is so misrepresented by the ladies in the front. Do better. Be better.

I was very pleased of the exceptional service I received from Marsha today. I helped my aunt Marie call to set up an appointment. Prior to this call with Marsha, my aunt was calling everyday since February 25th. She left multiple messages and they never returned her calls. Marsha was so professional, caring and patient. When I explained the problem and I expressed the frustration, she showed empathy and she promised to relay the message to the right person - and promised we would receive a call by the end of the day. Considering the amount of time my aunt called and no one ever returned her calls, I expected to have to do a follow up call the next day. Needless to say how surprised I was that Marsha called my aunt back that same day and gave her the appointment.

When my aunt told me how she couldn't see and how frustrated and disappointed she was of not having her calls returned and not being able to get an appointment, I had a negative view of Braverman Eye Center. However, Marsha' s going above and beyond attitude changed my perception. Her professionalism and actions made me realize how each employee can elevate an organization's image.

She even called me to make sure that I knew that my aunt got her appointment. I am not sure what her position is, but she seems like a model employee. I hope the people in Upper management get this review and realize what an asset she is at Braverman eye center. Thank you so much Marsha! So thankful for your service. My aunt Marie also wants to give a shoutout to Tania who has helped her in the past.
