Went to wound clinic and there was skin on the floor from the previous patient. Pointed it out and the girl shrugged and said "what do you want me to do about it." Asked for another room and the next one was just as filthy.

I was sitting in the room for three hours before they told me my son who had 103.3 temperature was fine and just need a Motrin and now my son has thrush really bad and is literally bleeding from his mouth. Have lack of communication 100%, also there was five nurses sitting behind the desk doing absolutely nothing as I was waiting patiently as my son was getting more and more impatient because his ADHD and the fact that he is literally not even 2. If I could rate them a zero out of five stars I absolutely would 100%

Brooks MH is wonderful, all the staff, Dr's, Nurses everyone there is so nice & care about anyone who comes through their doors, I had a very pleasant stay after a full hip replacement, I would give more stars but 5 is the limit, Everyone has their own opinion about Brooks but like they say " you be nice, we'll be nice", Staff shortages, working double shifts during the pandemic, their all tired too but continue to care for their patients, Be kind always

They refused my wife when she was in labor. Now they DO have staffing issues due to covid but I called TWICE ahead of time to see if they'd take us and the lady said "we'll be here when shes ready." We arrived and the rude doctor told us she TRIED to tell us we couldn't deliver here when we spoke over the phone, which was a lie. Instead of dealing with her bullcrap we decided to drive to buffalo. Thanks for nothing.

If I could give 0 i would. This hospital sucks. They treat patients bad. Their machinery needs to be updated, everything is old fashion. The staff is very rude and dont provide the care they should. Super slow in calling people. They take a long time in calling you even though the hospital is empty. The doctors here in Dunkirk are good mechanics. Its embarassing.

I was skeptical driving 45 minutes out to this hospital after reading the reviews but I am so happy I did! Yes, the hospital is not updated at all but the nurses and the doctor were on point! I wish I would of went there the day before because it would of saved me the 12hrs I sat at Buffalo general and was not seen. I registered at 3:15 and was out a little before 6 and that was with needing a CT scan, bloodwork and an iv antibiotic.

Everything was on point. When someone entered the waiting room, they were brought back no more than 10 minutes later. I am highly satisfied with the care the nurses and doctors gave and am very happy they listened to my concerns and took the appropriate steps to address my issues. I would definitely return to this hospital.

Pretty good experience for us. My son had an asthma attack and we took him there at 4 am. He was treated very well was able to get out in an hour and a half.

I had to have an emergency appendectomy yesterday and was a bit discouraged about coming to the hospital based on the Google reviews, but my care has been absolutely excellent. There were no delays and the staff were beyond fantastic through the whole process! Dr. Covey and Kristen in the ER were amazing and their bedside manner was so reassuring. Dr. Askar did a wonderful job with my surgery. Then the post-op care team including James were all delightful as well. Thank you Brooks Memorial Hospital staff!

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. They almost killed my mother in law 2 years ago by misdiagnosing her 4 times and then refusing to transfer her to a reputable medical facility. They don't allow both parents in for testing on new born infants during COVID, even though there is no way for the mother to be present seeing as we are not allowed to carry the car seats because of the healing from the birth process.

The people that work in the reception areas are rude and the doctors seem to have received their degrees from some sort of raffle rather than merit. I would rather die on the way to a different facility than be treated here.
