Absolutely horrible front office. They are literally closed 2.5 hours for lunch. They refused to even schedule an appt without a Medicare # and then once I gave them the number, they claimed it was impossible to schedule unless there was a physical hard copy of a referral. I offered to email it to them so I could make the appointment and they claimed they don't have email. Also, be prepared to not see a doctor but a physicians assistant. And previous commenter was right - the place is unsanitary.

Today was my first visit. I got seen at my appointment time! Great first impression! Jessie the P.A. I think that's her name, was amazing! She listens:! Come with card, or quarters for parking. I will update once I get actual treatment.

One of the best experiences going to a doctors office. The women at the front desk were very nice and the doctor was precise and provided a safe environment.

Office staff is HORRIBLE! I hope Dr. Brown reads the reviews and corrects this problem before it costs him his practice. They cannot take down a correct call back number. They lie and say they called you (when they did not). They make excuses as to why simple business procedures were not followed. They make recommendations they do not back. Its unfortunate patients have to deal with BAD gatekeepers to see a doctor they like. Please fix asap!

Had a surgery done by Dr Brown and all I can say is: I would never change him for any other doctor. He saved my life and I'm glad I have him as my doctor. He explains everything super details, the way you can understand very well. You can see he loves what he does and with all experience he has, it makes him a perfect doctor Truly recommend

Very horrible experience from the staff. The most inefficient, inexperienced, unprofessional organization I have ever came across. I never even got a chance to meet the doctor because he was running over an hour late from his appointments. All the women at the front desk were sitting there gossiping the whole time, in a very stereotypical way. I canceled my appointment and booked else where. You have to show customer service if you want to keep your customers. Dr. Brown should revamp his establishment if he expects to get a consistent line of clients.

I first met Dr Brown almost 2 weeks ago his staff is terrible and unprofessional. I came to my appointment from work and because I didn't have my ID card they wanted to turn me away when I finally got it I was seen. I went to see Dr Brown for him to review my thyroid ultrasounds to decide what was the next step he decided to do a biopsy he was very nice explaining to me how they do it and I would follow up with him in a month he said I'll have my office request the authorization. It's been a week and a half and I had to call my insurance to check on the status to find out they requested it for the wrong service so when my insurance company and I contacted Dr Browns office we were dealing with Michelle she is very unprofessional and rude and needs a course in patient care.

She yelled at me and my insurance representative and kept putting us on hold. I got upset and told Michelle god forbid this is thyroid cancer and you guys aren't even being helpful and submitting the wrong authorization Michelle than stated ma'am I highly doubt within 2 weeks you could have cancer and I told her I've thyroid issues for 13 years she said well I can't put in authorization on for a service that wasn't requested.

When clearly it was written on paper. I work in the healthcare profession and this is not how things are dealt with, so sad Dr Brown is a very good doctor but his staff is terrible and now because they messed up I have to wait for the correct authorization. Michelle is the worse no manners no compassion and no patience for patients

No very helpful staff. It seems like they don't care if you have an emergency, i really hope my 2nd visit is better, if not i would have to request for a new specialist.

TERRIBLE OFFICE! This office will not prescribe pain meds, even though i had a raging ear infection with yellow fluid leaking from my ear. Call your primary care md, i was told. How can a md who did not examine me prescribe meds?! The office was very unkempt with files and papers visible everywhere and unsanitary. PA examined me with no gloves. Treated me like i was a medication hound when it was obvious i had a severe infection and in pain. Avoid at all costs!

I love Dr. Brown he's been my ENT since 2016. He's very detailed in his work. I've had two surgeries performed by him and his bedside manner is fantastic.

Dr. Lorenzo Brown is Not sanitary in my opinion. The doctor didn't even wash his hands or use rubber gloves. The Medical Utensils were just sitting out uncovered.

Worst experience ever! Do not go to this MDs office! I was seen by a PA who did not wear gloves would not take my pain seriously, and treated me as if i just was looking to abuse pain meds. My ear issues were said to be allergies (never been allergic in my life) and i was put on anibiotics and flonase. 1 wk later i returned with a raging ear infection, worse pain, and this office does not prescribe pain meds at ALL.

I was told to call my primary care md for pain meds, and when i told them i couldn't just call and request, id need info from their office, "we dont call mds". I called my primary care, explained the issue, they stated the needed the ent notes, which browns office said would not be available until the next day. Why go to an md when they refuse to do anything about pain? The office was unkempt and not clean. Treated by incompetent staff. Will NEVER go there again.

I had the best experience with Dr. Brown however, the staff needs customer service training. When you call they come across as if they are doing you a favor. The doctor on the other hand is personable and you feel good about your visit with him.

Good morning. At this moment I had an interesting call with a staff member at this facility by the name of (Ivette). Previously I had Kaiser, now I don't so I am following up with medical. I received two referral letters stating I am approve to see Dr. Brown. I called the facility to make an appointment. I gave my name and information. Ivette had no records of this approval so she was not able to make an appointment, which I found utterly confusing.

Once I mentioned the two letters she had put me on hold for the third time for a period of time, she found the approval. Hooray. What I find extremely weird is that Ivette still was not able to book my appointment. Unless she had my medical number. From my understanding you are not to ask that by phone. I'm suppose to present it the day of the appointment. Also, she asked me basic questions regarding this appointment.

I will go up there today to file a complaint regarding this matter. The things that were said are highly disrespectful and inappropriate for staff to say to a new patient. I hope this is the only bad experience I have.

I've seen Dr. Brown twice now and have had a positive experience both times. When I made the initial office visit I found the staff to be efficient and accommodating while I was being scheduled. I even called for some help in getting there from Culver City without getting on the 405. Claudia was helpful and I got there without a problem and found parking to be fairly easy.

Today I came in for a hearing test and the young woman, Gloria, who administered the test was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. It's unfortunate that disgruntled people have brought down the ratings here when they've not even seen Dr. Brown and that's who they're evaluating. It's sad that their experience with staff kept them away. He's an excellent physician and I'd take my children to him for sure which is a testament to how I would rate him.

Called office today and asked 2 simple questions: 1. How much for an office visit to check my ear if I pay in cash? 2. How much to clean my ear if it needs it? The woman who answered the phone gave me nothing but attitude and was extremely argumentative. She started out by reciting some stuff about insurance in a canned script. I stopped her and asked her again for the cash fee for a visit.

At this point she insisted on my telling her if I had Medicare/ Medicaid or not, and refused to give me a price! I repeatedly asked her to give me a cash price and she repeatedly insisted I tell her if I had insurance or not. I said I had no insurance, and now could she please give me a price quote. She started explaining why she needed to ask me these questions which no other ENT doctor had asked on the phone.

I stopped her again. Said could she please JUST GIVE ME THE PRICE. More arguments! Unbelievable. At this point, I said if she did not give me a price quote, I was going to come in person to see the doctor and explain her attitude. I got the price for an office visit! Now how much for a ear cleaning. Oh my, more argument. Long and short, she could not tell me if this was included in price or not, and if not, how much it was.

She got all het up and put me on endless hold. Passive-aggressive staff is not the way to handle new cash paying patients. My call was on 5/16/2016, at 10:05 am, in case doctor wants to know who it was. Sounded like an African-American voice. This is not rocket science. Its a ear cleaning. There are menus of services and they carry price tags. Pretty standard in the industry.

I am dismayed by this level of non-service. If this is the way you handle sales, I wonder what your level of service after I become a customer. Disgraceful! I read other reviews on Yelp about staff being very rude. Fire this lot and hire new people!

Good doctor. Hard to find a good doctor now and days that accept medical. May God bless him and his family for helping patients in need. I get my ears clean. I drive from Long beach but worth it. I recommend Saturday appointments. There is less traffic on 405.

Staff is incompetent and failed to contact me for 2 1/2 weeks after a hearing aid recommendation was submitted. Office manager was rude and told me she didn't have time to address my concerns and was dismissive. Bottom line, I didn't appreciate the ghetto attitude from someone in charge. Stay away from this mess of a dr's office. Customer is not king here and "attitude" prevails.

Dr. Lorenzo Brown is an amazing doctor. Being referred here I was dreading the drive. However, Dr. Brown makes it worth the car ride. He is very compassionate about his patients and he greatly shows it by being welcoming, professional, and thorough with his exams. I felt very taken care of at his office and he is always there to help. His staff is also amazing and extremely sweet.

They call and confirm your appointments and even remind you of any copays. Seriously, who does that?! They're the sweetest. I know a lot of offices that don't call to remind appointments or copays, so this is like joy to my ears to hear a voicemail with a reminder lol Going to this office you get the experience of communicating woth a doctor who is professional and is highly knowledgeable in his specialization. He is compassionate that I feel a lot of doctors now do not have. I Highly reccommend him!

Dr. Brown's office staff is a reflection of him. VERY accommodating, helpful, friendly and exactly what you want to experience when you go into a doctor's office. From the 1st call to the office until we walked out after the appointment, the experience was efficient, professional and easy. Dr. Brown's bedside manner could not have been more accommodating to my elderly parents.

My Mom (85) with Alzheimer's had the appointment because of pain, difficulty hearing & ringing in her ears. As soon as the paperwork was completed we were shown to a room and seen by the doctor immediately. No long wait in the waiting room. Dr. Brown was gentle, patient and made her feel right at ease. He went right to the problem, took care of it within 15 minutes with a procedure right there in his office, did not hurt her in the process and by this time, my dad (83) who has some dementia then decided he wanted Dr.

Brown to look at his ears too! I inquired with the staff to see if he could accommodate another appointment (it was at the end of their day), they checked with the doctor and he said "sure". We will definitely be back and also referring family and friends. Parking was easy, making an appointment was not a problem, office was clean and staff's efficiency was great!

Dr. Brown is attentive, professional, and experienced. He really cares about the patients and so does his staff. I have not had to go in for anything serious, but I am sure that if I did so I would be in the best hands.

I was put off by the first impression of the office. When I called to try to schedule an appontment the lady on the phone acted like I was annoying her and wasting her time so I decided to take my child elsewhere. The lady that I spoke with lacked compassion, was unhelpful and seemed bothered that I was calling. First impression is everything and this guy may be a great doctor- but I will never know because of the rude lady on the phone.
