Scimeca, M.D. our practice has proudly served Burlington County for over 25 years. A family business started by Dr. Scimeca's father, Henry A. Scimeca, M.D., Burlington County Eye Physicians began as one location and has successfully evolved into 5 office locations, 2 on-site ambulatory surgical centers, and 1 optical shop throughout central and southern New Jersey, as well as Bucks County, PA.

Dr. Damon Chandler, board-certified top Cosmetic Oculofacial Surgeon (Eyelid Surgery Expert, Facial Plastic Surgeon) expertise in Blepharoplasty, Eyelid Plastic Surgery, Upper Eyelift, Ptosis (Droopy Eyelids), Lower Eyelid Bags, Midface Sculpting, Cosmetic Face Mole and Skin Tag Removal, Eyebrow Lift, and Liquid Facelift (Botox and Facial Fillers).
I am a board certified ophthalmologist with over 30 years of medical and surgical experience. Since retiring from the Navy, I have provided comprehensive eye care and cataract surgery in a private practice setting and am excited to continue my career with The Eye Professionals. My Naval service started as a medical intern and resident in Ophthalmology at the Naval Hospital San Diego after graduating from New York University Medical School. My residency in Ophthalmology trained me to be an ophthalmologist as well as a cataract surgeon.
Joseph Kamerling is committed to providing patient-centered eye care. Dr. Kamerling is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Kamerling began his career by attending the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Shelby Baker, O.D. is a board certified Optometrist that works out of our Moorestown, Willingboro and Millville offices. Dr. Baker has worked in private practice for over 35 years before joining The Eye Professionals team. He worked as a staff doctor at the non-profit South Jersey Eye Center for more than 10 years, including 2 as its Executive Director.

Waited 30 days to get my medical records. Called twice to see if they received the consent. They never returned the call. When I finally did reach them they said they never received the consent. Microaggreseion not worth it.

Dr. G. Scimeca was a great great and awesome doctor. We were hesitant to do a surgery for mom's right eye and do a cataract surgery due to what had happened on her left eye with into a different doctor, my mom now can see so much clearer and can even read her book now. The waiting room gets way too crowded for covid. There is barely any social distancing and masks aren't enforced strictly. If you have one over your mouth, that's enough for them. They also need to do something about the lane outside for surgical pickup. There is a constant stream of people dropping off others. I got harassed when picking someone up from surgery as I was told.

He thought I shouldn't be waiting there when I had every right to be there in the pick up area and picking someone up! The nurses had the nerve to tell me to calm down while standing up for myself but they said nothing to the man yelling at me (a woman).

This is by far the best experience I have ever had at a eye care center. From the ladies at the front desk to the amazing Dr's. They all are very professional and knowledgeable.and the Optician that helped me with choosing my glasses, Jonnele was beyond friendly and knowledgeable. She picked out some amazing frames and explained all of my options and made my decision very easy to make. Many people had told me how great this place is and now I know and so should you!

The doctor finally realized that the lens in my eye was unstable. Therefore he decided to replace it. He had shown the lens in place in the hopes that it would stay in peace. I pray that the new lens will stop all of the troubles.

Have been going to the office for about 3 years. The staff is knowledgeable and professional. Dr Naids is a terrific doctor who knows his job, always pleasant to talk with and he's a Yankess fan! Always look forward to a visit.

The front desk personnel was good. However, when my husband was called in the back the staff laughed at my husband because he asked if I (His wife) could be present because he is from another country, and his english isn't that great. This made my husband feel very uncomfortable. I thought this was very unprofessional. We were at this place Wednesday, January 22, 2020 for his 2pm appointment.

The drs and the nurses all done great job however the scheduling dept is unorganized. I had an appointment for 830am yet the building is not open before then. I don't think it is very efficient to schedule appointments before you have opened your doors.

I would like to personally thank the staff and technicians of Burlington Eye! From the time I called to obtain an urgent appointment for my daughter, they made my emergency their priority. The Administration worked miracles to get me a same day appointment. Kudos to Jen and her team! Amy is awesome for getting those drops in a 11 year old. I could not even do it as mom! Thanks for making health care look good and feel even better! Kudos to Burlington Eye

Dr. Spechler: A+ His staff: F Went here for a routine eye exam a months weeks ago. Dr. Spechler is awesome - very kind, always letting me know what he was doing when he was doing it, and answered all my questions fully. Unfortunately his front desk staff did not operate with the same level of professionalism and care as he. Upon my visit, one woman in the front office was downright rude in our short conversation about how I'd heard of the office.

When I called back a few days after my exam to dictate an old prescription that Dr. Spechler had requested I call back with, the woman with whom I spoke made it clear that she was annoyed that I had so many numbers to dictate (as if was my decision to format lens prescriptions such that they are hard to dictate). I offered to email the prescription but she said that would not work. I hope Dr. Spechler can revamp his front desk staff. Unfortunately I won't be sticking around to find out.
