Services
Although ear tube surgery is a relatively common procedure, surgery is not the first choice of treatment for middle ear infections. Antibiotics are usually the first course of treatment for bacterial ear infections; in many cases, acute ear infections may resolve without treatment of any kind. Many ear infections are viral and antibiotics do not help.
Sinus Surgery is one of the most common operations performed. Dr. Campano will review with you whether this procedure is the appropriate procedure to open possible sinus obstructions. Removal of such obstructions may require eliminating polyps that are blocking sinus openings or possibly enlarging the hole that sinuses drain through.
PROPEL is the first and only device clinically shown to keep the sinuses open after surgery, precisely deliver anti-inflammatory medication directly into the healing tissues, and then dissolve. The innovative sinus stent decreases post-operative scarring and inflammation, reducing the need for additional surgical procedures as well as oral steroids and their potential side effects. At the same time, PROPEL's spring-like, lightweight design means patients usually cannot even tell that it is there.
Tonsillectomy/AdenoidectomyTonsillectomies and adenoidectomies are common and safe procedures. As a matter of fact, tonsillectomy is the second most common pediatric surgical procedure. It is also necessary at times for this procedure to be performed on adults. A tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy can help prevent frequent sore throats and ear infections.

Scheduled an appointment with Dr. Campano's office for checking out my sinuses. When asked about the cost of the visit, the receptionist stated that they could not provide that information until after the visit and the procedures are already performed, that way they could bill to insurance for cost. Would also not provide procedure code (or whatever its called) for insurance to inform me of amount.

If cost is no option, then I'd give it a chance! Otherwise, go elsewhere. While the receptionist was not helpful information wise, they were professional. Definitely reason for my 2nd star ** 06/14 edit: ** Editing so that i may appropriately reply to owner comment. I asked your receptionist for the general cost, no insurance, consultation fee. I assume when someone sees you for your medical advice/attention, there is a billing code.

As for the range, the receptionist also did not provide me with that after requesting it either. Nor did your receptionist provide the billing code so i could provide it with my insurance company (whom i had on the phone while at the desk). Given this information, i confirmed with her that 1st, i must agree to your contract, that 2nd i would be subject to whatever billing codes decided on prior to my approval, based on the treatment/ consultation, and 3rd, that even without insurance and paying out of pocket, the cost was unknown until after the visit.

There were no complexities. I simply wanted to understand what charges possibly would be posted and their amounts since i knew i would be paying out of pocket. Thank you for the reply, still disappointed and hope you're team can receive proper information over this incident for future clients. As mentioned in review, unknown costs, especially with medical treatment are concerning and the lack of disclosure when asked are basis for review. Respectfully ** end of edit 6/14 **

DO NOT GO on a day of beauty it's not worth it at all plus you will wait hours just to schedule what you want done. Nothing is done that day. Got there at 10am was told wait was an hour well 4hours later I get called back finally. Visit with the doctor and then see another lady to go over pricing and she wants to schedule me. Why did it take so long if you were just scheduling everyone. Not even worth it. Sales gimmick

My daughter put something in her ear. After confounding two doctors they referred her to an ent. Dr. Campano was amazing and very understanding of how scary the doctors office can be for a 7 year old. She was comforting and the procedure went off without a hitch. Would take my family back to see her anytime.

Incompetent staff. Rescheduled my appointment for 30 minutes after the original. Was there for the original. Absolutely no patients coming or going. Demands you where a mask but doesn't provide one. Requires a physical copy of insurance card but doesnt make you aware of that until your there. Unable to look up policy even when provided the policy number. I understand now why they had so many available appointment times. Dont recommend it appears it is too difficult for them too do a simple hearing test.

I have survived breast cancer and felt terrible about myself. i could not even look at myself in the mirror. Dr Campano, in her perky and friendly way, said that she would make it her mission to try to have me like looking at myself again. We started with Botox and then filler and some laser work. I look like myself again. This has given me so much confidence, you would not believe. I just love you Dr Campano!

If I could give no stars I would. All this doctor cares about doing is facial rejuvenation, not helping you hear! I went to her because I'm having a hearing problem, not because I want to do my skin. I was so angry. The doctor left and the office girl sat at he front desk and gave me a hearing test. I was left in the room alone. She YELLS from her desk 'I don't hear you pushing the button!' So I yell back 'because I don't hear anything!' NEVER AGAIN

I can't say enough nice things about Dr Campano and her staff. They were all so kind and professional. Dr Campano did great work on me while taking her time to explain everything. I will definitely be going back.

I scheduled my appointment with no issue and drove 1 hour to be there on time. I waiting for approximately 30 minutes to be informed that I couldn't take my baby in with me for consultation. They should have seriously told me this when I called to schedule my appointment and I would have found a babysitter. There goes another hour drive back home.

I have been coming to Dr Campano for more than 10 years. I'm not going to give away my secrets however, her products are fantastic and her staff is Justice great. I don't see myself stopping anytime soon. Dr. Campano really knows what she is doing, she's a great listener and if she doesn't think what you're asking is right for you she'll advise and let you know the best outcome. She is also always running great specials. I would definitely recommend her and her staff.

Saw this "Dr" this morning to unplug my ears from very bad packed wax. I had to get my ears cleared of wax several years ago in Bakersfield, my experience in Bakersfield was awesome. This particular "Dr" caused my ear to bleed but blamed me. That was the worst nightmare in her office. I'll never return again. Her staff was wonderful though.

Office was nice and clean. Very few patients waiting in the very large lobby. New paperwork took about 8 minutes to fill out. Nurses and staff were very nice.

I never appreciated the difference a move could make to my medical care choices until I relocated to the greater AV area. In doing so, I left my physicians of 20+ years behind in Orange County. Here in the AV area it has been tough to find anyone who takes time to get to know a new patient. At my primary care office, the physician there still hasn't asked what I do for a living, nor other aspects of what are known as "patient demographics".

When my spouse and I were in the waiting room we began to wonder, as first-time patients, if we were in the right place because it looks like a dermatology practice. There are numerous product photos on the wall for skincare, fat reduction and cosmetic fillers. I had been told by two neurologists, including a specialist at UCLA in downtown Los Angeles, that I needed my ears evaluated in conjunction with another diagnosis (unrelated to hearing loss) but even though a continuously-running video in the waiting room talks about how Dr. Campano offers a specialized type of hearing test, Dr. Campano suggested I go elsewhere. Dr. Campano also suggested that I may benefit from Botox injections not for cosmetic use but for headaches she feels are coming from TMJ -- but she suggested I go back to the neurologist who referred me to find out if I can obtain Botox treatment, which I found puzzling because she apparently offers Botox treatment at her office!

If it were not for COVID-19 and the fact that I am trying to protect my older relatives who live in Orange County by not dropping in on them for an overnight stay, I would go back to the OC for specialty care. I give Dr. Campano credit for asking more intelligent questions than other AV-area doctors -- but if she can't make enough money from PPO patients for insured medical treatment vs. cash-based cosmetic procedures, she should instruct her staff to inform new patients that her practice is oriented around out-of-pocket cosmetic procedures.

While we appreciate the amount of time Dr. Campano took to review our concerns, taking a day off work only to be referred out for every issue we had in mind when we set our respective appointments puts us back to square one.

Buyer beware! you could lose your life just from her total carelessness. I almost did. And she brags about how she's married to attorney so nobody could touch her. So after the so called accident in her office she refused to talk to me. All I can do is tell people what happen to me because it was the truth. It was terrifying watching yourself bleed out. And she never cared at all not once. All she cares about is money, Not human life.

I had sinus surgery with Dr Campano in Dec 2006. After the surgery I was at home trying to recover but as the days passed I knew something was wrong. I was feeling worse and worse due to an infection despite taking an antibiotic. I called her office and asked for a stronger antibiotic. I was not allowed to speak with Dr. Campano as she was working in Ridgecrest that day.

The medical assistant called her and relayed the message to her. Dr. Campano said not to go into her office the next day but to go to my primary doctor or the ER. I called into my primary doctor and was seen immediately. The nurse and the assistants immediately set me up for a home health care nurse to set me up with IV antibiotics which I had to take for the next 10 days.

I had MRSA. I did not want to see Campano for the post-op visit but I went anyway. She saw the notes in the file about me asking for assistance. She asked me what I had done. I told her I was on a course of IV antibiotics as ordered by my primary doctor. She became angry and yelled at me. She also sent a letter to my primary doctor telling him off.

I was shown the letter and it remains in my medical file. I have never seen her again. I had seen Dr. Vadapalli previously and returned to seeing him. He is great and worth driving to see him in Valencia if you can't catch him in Palmdale.

The staff and dr. Campano are very rude and really show no compassion for there patients which is shocking seeing how they all chose to work in the medical profession. Strongly suggest you go somewhere else were there not just worried about your money but providing the best care possible because YOU WONT GET IT HERE!

Called this office to reserve an appointment and the front office was soooooo horrible! I mean awful! Definitely need training on customer service. I work in the health business as well and if my staff ever answered the phones like these gals did I know my office wouldn't run I would NEVER have patients. Let me tell you about my first experience with this office.

A gal answers the phone puts me on hold gets back on and then questions me about what insurance I have first before getting my name or reason for call. I provided the information and then she puts me on hold for about 3-5 minutes. Another gal by the name of Lynn picks up the phone says "how can I help you"? I informed her I was being helped by someone one else they just put me on hold.

She then puts me on hold and gets back on and says I'll help you can I get your insurance information I AGAIN explained I provided the information already but I did it go over with it with Lynn then she requested all my personal information I provided my name, phone number, and insurance information along with my date of birth. She wanted my address and social and all she stayed she couldn't make me an appointment without that information I informed her I would provide that information when I filled out my paperwork wasn't comfortable providing over the phone instead of addressing it in a professional and politely manner she responded with well I can't make you an appointment then.

At this point I'm already frustrated and if they were this rude and disorganized now I could just imagine how my first visit would go. so I asked for her name and said thank you. I called another office immediately and they were able to reserve my appointment without my address and social and in a polite professional way! I leave this feedback to help improve the customer care! Maybe better care will provide more quality patients and possibly better reviews on their social media.

I was referred to Dr Campano by my physician. They sent the referral to the office and said I'd receive a call in a week to have an appt scheduled. Nothing, so I called their Ridgecrest office, was placed on hold for almost 30 minutes, hung up to call back and was given the same line and tried to place me on hold again. i said I wasn't going to be put on hold for an hour just to schedule an appt. Dr Campano was kind, thorough and sent me off with a slip for labs and a CT scan. Labs great.

I have been going back and forth between her office and Northern Inyo Hospital, neither one states they get authorization from the insurance, I was not provided anything with justification for the scan, asked the office for the justification to provide to the hospital and can't get that either. so months and calls and can't get completed what the doctor requested. so frustrated!

I have been to Dr. Campano several times for Botox injections, which she does a decent job performing. I decided to then do cheek filler injections, which I now sadly regret letting Dr. Campano perform on my face. The first time I did the cheek filler I was very disappointed in the results. She injected filler right under the tear trough area and there was a raised bump in that area two years later.

When I went back to address this with her she denied there was any bump in that area, she said she didn't see it. It was obvious to many of my friends as they commented on it. I made a second mistake when I went back again to try to somehow see if she could correct it, I selected the same cheek filler but told her please do NOT inject it in again in the raised bump area.

I was very explicit in saying to her - do not fill in the area under the tear trough. As she began the filler injection I realized she was going to apply in the area where I had just told her to stay away from, and she did just that. The whole time I was objecting to her action - outloud! Now four years later the original lump I was left with the first time is even larger.

I think it may have been accidently injected into muscle tissue and then may have formed into scar tissue, at least that is what another plastic surgeon told me. I am very disappointed in Dr. Campano's denial of the lump and then making it worse with the second injection. These injections were at a cost of over $1000 each and I would expect a Dr. to have the skill to perform them properly and listen to her patient's concerns and desired outcome with more respect than I was given. Needless to say, I will never be a return customer of Dr. Campano.

I took my 14 year old daughter in for a follow-up on a Sleep Study to see if she had Sleep Apnea or not. The good news is that she does not. The bad news is that Dr. Campano couldn't resist the impulse to make a shot about my daughter's weight- nothing to do with sleep study or sleep apnea. My daughter also has a eating disorder so this really REALLY was a bad thing to say in front of her. A refresher course in Bedside Manner is suggested.

Good medical care in the AV is sorely lacking and with a lot of major health issues, I've had a lot of bad experiences with subpar doctors. Dr. Campano takes the cake though, worst experience that I've ever had with a doctor. I've never been able to breathe out of my nose and was told it was due to a deviated septum and enlarged turbinates.

I was referred to her for the surgery. After explaining the procedure to me, I asked that my nose not be "packed" afterwards (I'd read a lot about that being an antiquated process and it causing damage to the septum). She refused, told me that I was wrong and that that was the only way to do it or else it wouldn't heal properly. Also, while examining me she tried to push a bunch of cosmetic procedures by informing me of all of my facial flaws that she could "fix" for me (despite my telling her that I'm not interested in anything cosmetic) and was speaking with her assistant about a law suit against her, but remarked that it didn't matter because her husband (a local attorney) could "keep it tied up in court for years".

I should have walked away right there. But not knowing of another doctor to do it and against my better judgement, I went ahead with the procedure. After surgery, she packed my nose so full that the skin was pulled taught and I couldn't swallow without almost choking because of the suction. When she finally removed the packing (about a week later), she pulled part of my nose out with it!

I ended up with a hole in my septum that took another doctor THREE surgeries to finally repair! Her response, "Well, I told you this could happen if we packed it." She also saw my husband for sinus/breathing issues at the same time and without even examining him, sent him for a sleep study, diagnosed him with sleep apnea and gave him a CPAP machine set for 15 psi (same psi as an Instapot pressure cooker).

He tried it for a week and neither of us got any sleep. The rush of so much air was causing him to have a massively dried out nose, sinuses and mouth, causing more issues like nosebleeds, coughing, sore throats, etc. The pressure was so high that the air was going straight through his nose and pushing his mouth wide open. After seeing another doctor and actually being examined, he was found to have a deviated septum, enlarged turbinates, tonsils and adenoids.

After surgery and another sleep study we were informed that he did not in fact have sleep apnea at all! He's perfectly healthy now! Avoid Dr. Campano like the plague! Not a good doctor, not a nice person. If you need an ENT, see Dr. Vadapalli, he's only in the AV 1 day a week, but he's one of the best doctors I've ever had and always gives me great referrals when I need specialists.

BEWARE! *Please read all* I never post on Yelp, nor had an account prior to this. but I felt now more than ever I should to publicly state my regretful experience. When I went to Dr. Campano in the Antelope Valley. it was because of a billboard I'd seen on the 14 freeway. I went in for lip injections, motivated by its popularity on social media, as I wanted to achieve trending fuller look. Arriving there, I was not greeted and waited at an empty receptionist window for quite a while.

When the receptionist came I was told to take a seat for my appointment. By the time my name was called, I was excited and looking forward to the process. The staff however were not as professional compared to an office I'd normally go to in Los Angeles. Although, that's not nearly worst part. When Dr. Campano greeted me, I told her what I came in for, which were lip injections, I also showed her a few inspirational lip photos performed by other doctors on Instagram.

She then asked me why I would want a lip augmentation as my lips were already full. She also rhetorically asked me who my generations "ring leader" was (Which was strange since this is a service she offers). I ignored the comment and continued to tell her that I'd like a modern "Angelina" procedure, where the bottom lip is split by string and the injections are inserted; which is a lip augmentation trending on social media and has now become a norm. Dr. Campano was not familiar with that.

So when I tried to explain further she persisted in telling me all of the features I were describing were Caucasian features. As an African American woman, I believe full and defined lips are a feature of many ethnicities. Unfortunately, I went through with the lip procedure because I felt I somewhat should since going through the entire consultation.

I also did a non-surgical nose augmentation with the unused lip filler left in the syringe, and the results did not turn out like I asked of her. Now, that my lips are fully settled, I see no difference in them, other than the fact that one side on my bottom lip is smaller than the other. Yes, my bottom lip is UNEVEN. Summary: I'm merely waiting for all of the injections to dissolve on it's own.

As I would never go back to Dr. Campano's office for anything due to an underwhelming staff, rude rhetoric, and condescending comments. Thanks for reading, hope this helps.

Dr. Campano is an excellent doctor. She is beautiful, intelligent, has a great personal friendliness to all, and recently performed sinuplasty for my chronic sinusitis. It all went very well! Wait times are minimal, and all of her staff are quite pleasant and helpful. Even when I didn't have a regular doctor, she still saw me for a small medical issue. I just think she's one of the best!

This is a ZERO star post. I called to make an appointment and was told that I needed to verify with my insurance first to see if the Dr. was within network. I did. I called back to make the appointment. I was told by the receptionist that I didn't need to get a referral from my primary care physician- which I thought was odd since I have HMO.

I asked if she was sure and she said yes. Three weeks later, the day before my appointment, I get a call from this receptionist that I need a referral before I can get seen. INCOMPETENT. I'm so disgusted by the ineptitude and unprofessionalism of this receptionist. I can see why other people posted the same thing about the staff.

I first met doctor campano when she was taking care of both my brothers, I had been having problems breathing for over many years! She told me to come see her, but life happens and never got around to it, until this year when I had sinus infection after infections! My dr sent me to her! Hell I don't why I waited so long! It's been 5 days and all is good! Had plugs taken out! Omg I can breath! What a difference, you just don't realize it because I got so use to not breathing Thur my nose! Thanks again Truly God sent!
