Many people use the term "cosmetic" and "plastic" surgery interchangeably. However, there are a few very important differences between these two terms which will determine the type of specialist you meet with. Cosmetic surgery is an elective surgery that is performed specifically to change the patient's appearance in their face, head, and other parts of the body.
Botulinum toxin is an ideal treatment options for patients who have wrinkles or folds between the eyebrows and crow's feet. Botulinum toxin can also be used for hyperhidrosis, or excess sweating in the hands or armpits. Bruxism, or grinding, can caused by masseter hypertrophy. Chin augmentation at Cape Cod Plastic Surgery is a procedure performed in our in-office accredited surgical suite under sedation. I saw Dr. Fater for breast implants and suggest you stay as far away from this surgeon as possible. Since seeing him I have undergone one corrective surgery due to the fact that my implants bottomed out and I developed symmastia 8 months after my initial surgery. Now four years down the road I have gone through one corrective surgery (performed by a different surgeon) and am due for my second in the near future to repair my implants bottoming out for the second time.

These issues are occurring due to over dissection of my breast pocket during my initial surgery performed by Dr. Fater. The over dissection of my implants will likely result in me having them removed completely since I've had two failed surgeries. I will likely never achieved the desired result from augmentation and as a result this has greatly impacted my quality of life. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT see this surgeon.

Dr. Marc Fater of Cape Cod Plastic Surgery has treated my wife with many reconstructive corrective and cosmetic surgeries for many years. Such surgeries require precision and I am always very happy with the results for her.
