Capital Health Plan Medicare Advantage. FDOH states we will be able to order at home test for Sars Corona Virus-19 beginning today, January 15th with no co-pay or out of pocket cost. I woke up this morning with 6 of the known symptoms of the Omicron Varient. I am a high risk patient. When I searched the CHP website, all I could find is 1. Lab Corps is CHP only provider for Lab Testing, and there is a cost of 169.00 plus it has to be taken to a fed ex location.

My primary care physcician is incredible! Their office is not open on weekends. Urgent care instructed me to get an at home test if my symptoms are mild. I have had both vaccines and the booster. I have self isolated for 10 consecutive months, leaving my home only for Doctor visits. I wear N95 masks. I have done my part as advised by the CDC and my amazing PCP.

I pray that CHP can make the resources promised accessible, especially accurate information. I have chosen not to go to the Emergency room so as not to expose scores of patients and medical personnel to the virus.

CHP (If your fortunate enough to have health insurance) runs a tight, professional, yet personal ship when it comes to their Covid vaccine and Flu shot clinics.

As an exclusively pumping mother I find it very disappointing that CHP will only cover the Ameda breast pump. Other insurances allow the member to PICK their own pump and then fully (or partially) reimburse the member for the cost. As a woman who has to depend on a machine in order to feed her baby I'm just extremely dissatisfied with CHP's customer service- do better; there are wayyyyy better Breast pump options other than the Ameda and since breastmilk is such a valuable asset with so many health benefits you'd think a health insurance company would do everything in its power to encourage mothers to breastfeed.

By forcing me to only use this pump my breastfeeding journey will likely end much earlier than it should. Very dissatisfied and wish I had gone with another insurance provider for this reason.

A huge Thank You to the very professional staff at CHP for the quick, safe, kind and efficient service in providing my first dose of the Covid vaccine. As a CHP member in an eligible category, it took one 5 minute phone call resulting in an appointment 2 days later. Nicely done!

I previously tried to leave a one star review for this place but I guess the algorithm in the system just kicked it out because it never showed up. I'm going to try again and leave a two star review because I can't leave a zero in the ones don't show up. I went there in pain to be treated for sciatica in my leg that was excruciatingly painful and there were zero other patients waiting in the reception area.

The doctor and the assistant were both rude and rushed me through the process as if I had no problem at all and they had no intentions of treating me. As far as needing something for pain is concerned they remarked snidely you can take Tylenol.

We had a positive experience with CHP urgent care. Check-in staff, nurses, and doctor were all superb and I want to thank them for such a good experience considering the circumstances. Dr. Gunter was such a patient and caring doctor, it surprised me how attentive he was. That in itself prompted me to write a review. Thank you, Dr. Gunter!

Dear Dr. Amy Neal and Capital Health Plan (owned by Blue Cross and Blue Shield). Thank you for your polite letter denying my son further medical coverage for his rare disease. CHP customer service representatives have informed me that your board will not speak with patients privately. I wholeheartedly agree that this policy makes it much easier to withhold medical treatment when you don't have to look at the human faces of those who are paying multiple thousands of dollars for their health care coverage.

The treatment you have denied, is the only one that has worked in his long, painful, hopeless struggle with his disease. In denying this procedure, you are denying him any quality of life, and any semblance of normalcy. This treatment had allowed him to begin to hope for his future, one that he previously felt helpless and hopeless about. Helpless and hopeless - trigger words I am sure you understand the meaning of.

I have been further advised by my son's physician, who spoke with CHP's board directly, that the appeals department has further "denied future coverage and that this decision will not be reversed" - truly inspiring words during this season of giving. Merry Christmas.

I tried to make an appointment at CHP urgent care and neither time I was able to make an appointment. The first time I called and they said they would call me back and it took 3 hours then they said they had no appointments and that was that. The second time I told them what was going on where my tonsils were extremely white and I was having trouble breathing and the nurse told me to take some Advil and would not let me make an appointment. Will never try here again. TMH urgent care is INCREDIBLE so would recommend going there :

Dr. Shane Rignanese and his staff are heads above other providers I've used over the years. He never makes you feel like he doesn't have time for you and his nurses and staff are always friendly. He is busy so it's hard to get in sometimes but I would recommend him in a second. The only thing I can think of that is a little irritating is that you weigh out in the open area and they announce your weight so everyone hears it. I guess that's motivation to keep those pounds off!

We have been going to urgent care for years! Mainly to treat our young boys who are sick often enough. I have never had a bad experience here. The doctors are usually great! Last visit we went in they gave my boys popsicles because of sore throats. The only reason this is not 5 stars because they are limited to what they can do. Sometimes you just have to go to an ER for major issues!

Urgent care is evidently not urgent or caring. Feeling extraordinarily sick and being encouraged by co-workers and my husband to see a Dr, I tried to go. I'm new to the area and this was my 3rd stop. Once I found the right check in counter, I was given a piece of paper to fill out on an over filled clipboard. I was sent to a chair and a window slammed in my face.

The paper only required my name, phone number, birthdate and reason for visit. I was expecting the standard check-in paperwork. Why would I be sent away to complete these few lines? I returned to the window with the board and tried to give my license and insurance info. She didn't take my cards, instead she pulled a giant magnet off of the clipboard to hand me as a souvenir.

When I declined the magnet, she seemed upset. There was eye rolling and glances back to her co-worker. She went to slam the window closed again when I asked if I would be seen. She said they would see what they had, as I had not made an appointment. I have never visited an "urgent care" facility that didn't accept walk-ins. I was barely well enough to get out of bed. I couldn't stick around to be hassled around like that. I'm back in bed and hopeful that I will recover in my own.

The staff was very friendly, always worked with me, the environment was very comfortable. Dr. Collins is a great physician! He converses with you, wanting to hear your feedback and is very engaging. The wait time at urgent care was not long. If you can, before going to the ER, go to CHP urgent care.
