I adore the doctors here, but we'll be leaving the practice for one simple reason - it's extremely difficult to get through on the phone.

I only have a recommendation for the manager. Please do your business a favour and hold a few etiquette training classes for your staff! In some incidents I noticed that some of the staffs are very unprofessional (not all). They have not been trained how to treat the patients or behave professionally. I have never seen a medical staff slams the door on patients face until I visited Capitol Medical Group!

Our family has been using CMG Pediatrics for about three years. They have good doctors, a patient portal, flexible options like virtual, before school walk-in, drive-through flu shots, and drive-up covid tests. They have a great weekly Covid newsletter too. The front desk has always been polite and professional too. We have been very pleased.

I have tried for three weeks now to contact this place for a well visit for my son and I they are not answering the phones. I have spent between 10 to 25 minutes on hold waiting. I also sent an email to the only address I found and no luck. I did get to talk to someone the first attempt and they said they would call me back but no luck. O guess I will have to find a new pediatric office. Unfortunate really.

Too large and too impersonal rotation of pediatricians. My wife and I decided to leave Capital Medical Group due to: - Appointment being bumped - Then added difficulty contacting receptionists for 2 hours to schedule urgent appt recommended by doctor - Not being seen until two days later - Not being able to see the same doctor but rather seeing a rotation of doctors - Urgency and alarmism in routine health checks that aren't met with the same urgency in their follow-ups - Insensitive and impersonal approach overemphasizing low likelihood risks that made my wife cry on the way home from our first appointment This practice appears overbooked and cannot provide adequate attention and care to our daughter with a rotation of doctors.

The health of our daughter was at increased risk because we could not be seen for what we were told was an important 7 day checkup. Issues were reported two days later that could have been avoided more proactively if we had been seen two days prior. With newborns one or two days can make all the difference.

Excellent practice we have been with for the past 6.5 years. We have always had prompt resolution of concerns and easy scheduling. We have liked all the providers that we have seen, and like that you can schedule with provider of choice for most appointments made in advance. Sick clinic in the morning is so helpful with small school aged children. Also, during COVID they were great in adapting the practice to keep everyone safe. They are just a great group of providers and staff that have little turn over in staff. We see the same faces we saw from our new born visits.

This practice has some stellar pediatricians, however the management has gone run this practice in to the ground. Maki d a annual appointment for my 7 year old was a nightmare. I called 4 times at various times same day and gave up after being on hold for 25 minutes every time. The front desk staff doesn't seem to know what they are doing. Impossible to make online appointments on the website or their mobile app.

The entire practice management is severely broken. I have been going to this practice since 2012 when Dr. Jones was the practice leader. It is heartbreaking to see such a great practice run in to the ground due management and front desk staff's incompetence. Dr. Jones must be turning in his grave to see his practice destroyed ninkapoots.

This pediatric care group has a staff comprising of experts in various disciplines, which helps with specific child care issues and concerns. We have worked with virtually every doctor and NP in this organization, and they are all top notch, caring, considerate and thorough. The pre and post care is excellent as well. They have shone during this pandemic year, providing its community with top notch information, insights, commentary and guidance.

I couldn't be happier with the care my children have received at Capitol Medical Group over the course of more than 16 years. Although it is a large practice, it is extremely well-managed and well-run and these doctors and staff provide not only excellent care but also outstanding caring and have seen us through everything from teething and colic to the pandemic and the various health issues -- both emergency and longer-term -- that have arisen over the years. Dr. Nancy Kadowitz has been our go-to pediatrician throughout our time at CMG and we couldn't be happier with the care and guidance she has provided.

The other doctors in the practice that we have seen have also been excellent but it is also great that within a large practice we have been able to have one main doctor who knows our children well.
