Cardinal Neurosurgery & Spine - Daniel L Kitchens Dr. Daniel Kitchens and staff offer a full range of neurosurgical services combined with constant attention to excellence of care. We strongly recommend conservative care for those who have medical conditions that permit it. I only gave 1 star because I have too. THE creepiest doctor I have encountered in my entire life! He said he didn't know why I was sent to him from work comp because he couldn't help me with my back, yet he lied on his report and said not work related and nothing wrong. He is an absolute joke! *I'm thankful to have the right doctors now that uphold the oath they took as a medical professional. My advise to you. Go somewhere else where you will be valued.

I cannot begin to express how impressed I am with the care that I have received under the care of Dr. Kitchens and his staff. As one who lived with chronic lower back pain for years, I lived with a high level of anxiety, depression, and fear. Dr. Kitchens' experience, expertise, and compassion not only eliminated my pain, but eliminated all of the negative emotions I mentioned above.

From the minute I met him in the office until the minute that he took to speak with me prior to my going under anesthesia, I knew I was going to be in the hands of someone who truly cares for his patients. Dr. Kitchens assured me that everything would be OK and that I had nothing to worry about. I recovered from my surgery pain-free and my quality of life has improved dramatically. Dr. kitchen's level of empathy, professionalism, honesty and compassion all combine to make him the most patient-focused caregiver I have ever encountered. I would give Dr. Kitchens and his staff 10 stars if I could!

Dr. Kitchens performed ACDF surgery C5-C6 and C6-C7 on me in the middle of March and from the moment I woke up from surgery my nerve pain was 100% gone. The consultation appointments and follow up appointments have all been top notch. Thank You!

He and his staff were always helpful and kind, and provided a high level of care from initial office visit, through surgery, and at each follow up appointment. Dr. Kitchens is incredible. Period! Not only has he taken great care of my health, but he also has a great bedside manner both in the office and at the hospital. It is rare to find a doctor like Dr. Kitchens who combines outstanding medical care and outstanding personal care for patients. I highly recommend becoming his patient!

My son is a truck driver & has developed extreme pain in his lower back. He just contacted me for the name & number of Dr. Kitchens; since he performed spinal fusion on me in December 2003. I gladly provided Dr. Kitchens contact information & told him that I highly recommend him for the excellent surgery he performed on me 15 years ago! I have highly recommended Dr. Kitchens to family & friends for all these years because he does excellent work. My family knows, should anything ever happen to me, I want him for my doctor again.

Dr. Kitchens and his staff have been excellent. Dr. Kitchens sat and explained things and answered all my questions in the kindest manner. The entire process was smooth before, during, and after surgery. My surgery was extremely success and no more pain and tingling in my arm. I would highly recommend Dr. Kitchens.

After dealing with back pain for years and having 5 different surgeons tell me they cannot help me, I was very apprehensive when my PCP referred me to another surgeon. Much to me and my SO's surprise, Dr. Kitchens was amazing durning my visit. He explained everything wrong with my back to a T and knew of symptoms I was experiencing before I even explained how I had been feeling for so long.

The day of surgery I was so nervous thinking there's no way this was going to work. But Dr. Kitchens and the staff at Frontenac surgery and spine assured me that everything was going to be good. Immediately after surgery they had me up and walking and all the pain I had experienced for years was gone. Even the pain and tingling down my leg was no longer.

I am now 2 weeks after surgery and I feel fantastic. I cannot thank Dr. Kitchens enough, he is amazing and spent a lot of time with me to understand my every concerns. In all, I will always give him as a name anyone should look into seeing for treatment and his staff is so friendly and accommodating to your needs. Dr. Kitchens if you read these, please know how thankful I am that you became my doctor. I cannot thank you enough!

After seeing multiple specialists and having a multitude of procedures done in an attempt to ease the severe pain I had been existing with, I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Kitchens. His staff is knowledgeable, kind and helpful. Dr. Kitchens presented my case to me (after having several docs who told me they wouldn't touch me), and I felt comfortable with his plan of treatment.

He answered every question I had and I scheduled my surgery appointment before I left his office. After seeing many surgeons, I knew I had found someone skilled and trustworthy. I am a week and a half out of a major back surgery and I already know what he repaired will be successful!
