A Descent place to help those who need extra help in medical supplies. It's just that you need perception for any help there and has to be done anually. Sometimes they might be out of something for a while, but a non profit it is a decent place.

Best most empithetic non profit organization in Northern Nevada. These guys let low income people and families of all disabilities, races, and age groups, receive, give, and fix any kind of medical supplies or equipment that you may need. They travel all over NV to help people in rural areas not accessible to some of the public, and make sure they get supplies or equipment that they need.

They need help too however as much as they give, and until I discovered this place, I was in dire need of help. They gave me everything, and even surprised me with my photo of me and my daughter on a public billboard. I love the staff, and anybody wanting to give back to the community, should help these genuine people, with volunteer help roles, as well as donations. I love care chest, I owe them my life!

Online application system sucks! it does not work at all on a computer and it fails to tell you to use a cell phone to signup! many questions are inappropriate as they have no relevance to aid being requested. they force client to sign contract for long term use of medical equipment even when you are asking for help with one-time-use disposable care items not durable equipment! if i could i'd give this place zero stars!

Thank you so much for the use of a wheelchair during my recovery from hip surgery. All the staff were very helpful and I appreciate everyone of you.

The first time I went there was for a shower chair couple weeks out of the hospital from having surgery kny intestines, again. After home health care relisted me I couldn't find a local company to buy colonostomy products from. I called the CARE chest and they told me to come down to get anything I needed for no cost. They provide a wonderful serv to the Reno Sparks area. They are a non profit and take public donations for all medical supply's. I know I will be donating things to them.

Bob and his crew did some modifications for my dad's home such as a wheelchair ramp with a beautiful little patio area, raised his toilet, placed hand grips around it as well as in his bathing area, and were very professional and did a perfect job. Care Chest has provided quite a few items for Dad. I was scared when Dad first became unable to walk and some of the staff were nice to me.

They gave me additional information that helped a lot. I have recommended this resource to a few people over the years. The location can be difficult to get to if one doesn't have a car. There is a city bus that goes there though.

Today is I brought down some medical equipment for care chest of the Sierra nevadas, I was met by several young enthusiastic and helpful individuals. I was concerned that my donations would not be accepted. Don't ask me why I'm not sure. I suppose because they had so many memories attached for me. Yet I was addressed with respect and kindness and there was very pleased that they wanted all the items I had brought with me. They help many folks. They sure deserve your support.

Carechest is amazing at helping people get the medical equipment and other supplies they need. If you are looking for a good non- profit to donate to or need help getting medical equipment that you can't afford this is the place to go.
