CareMore is a health care delivery system built on compassion and fueled by innovation, treating patients and families with the care and dignity they deserve. CareMore has expanded to 9 states spanning both coasts, as well as the District of Columbia, and serves over 160,000 patients. We have extensive experience with Medicare and Medicaid. We are proud that our model of care has achieved significant positive health outcomes for our patients. Headed by Catherine Campbell, our leadership team comes from a variety of backgrounds who all have one thing in common: a passion for furthering CareMore's mission to be a beacon of hope for those we serve, as well as our peers across the industry.
Services
Caring takes time. A doctor's visit shouldn't feel rushed. At CareMore, our patients are not just numbers-we take the time to truly get to know them and their health goals. We'll do whatever it takes to provide the care that will really make a difference in people's lives. We pride ourselves in going above and beyond to understand our patients so we can serve them in the best way possible. We're a different kind of healthcare organization-approachable, easy to navigate, and engaged in our communities.
Our gold standard is to provide care that we would want to give to our own loved ones. That's the difference we want to make in the lives of those we care for-that our patients would have the assurance that they are in good hands and will receive the right care, which also gives profound peace of mind to them and their families.
The name "CareMore" was chosen because it embodies a philosophy that inspires proactive care and a caring touch-qualities that continue to drive our success. Throughout its history, CareMore has led the industry in clinical and quality outcomes, and aims to carry that legacy forward for many years to come.
Primary care providers serve as the frontline player in our care model. We serve as their extension, supporting patients with extra health services to keep them healthy. Extensivists and Case Management play a big part in our care coordination. Extensivists are CareMore doctors who follow patients across multiple settings and coordinate with primary care providers through all stages of care. Our Case Management teams work with providers to make sure patients get a high standard of care and that health conditions are properly managed.

This is the worse "health care center" I am giving 1 star because there is no less than that! The place in San Jose/Saratoga Ave is the opposite from what you expect for people that supposedly help people who need medical attention! No wonder the place is empty! Save your life, never go there!

This place is awful. After going there for a check up I told them about having anxiety and needing counseling a NP told me that I should rely on my spiritual beliefs because I'm a chaplain. What a slap in the face. In addition my PCP referred me to a Dr and it was declined because of CareMore. It has taken a month a still no referral. They don't care if you are suffering. Plus the doctor call was rude. I'm going to see if I can change my insurance.

CareMore provides excellent care for my mother and this insurance is a God-send for people in assisted living or memory care. I have no idea why the other reviewers have given it a bad review. They are wonderful and responsive. Plus there is no premium each month. It can't be beat!

I wonder why they call the company Caremore? It should be CARELESS! For the reasons, they don't notify their patients of any changes they made as far as Lab coverage. My parents can't even get lab work at OConnor because I believe they get kick back from Bigger lab. Remember there is a law for that. They made my parents wait for hours to get blood work.

Then I saw one of their employees get blood work at O'Connor and I said to myself wait that's not right. For their own convenience it's ok. I will drop Caremore if these matter don't get fix. Caremore don't even reply to us for messages. Very unprofessional. Also most of the employees are doing their externship, that means they're student.

They practice on my parents for blood draw. Caremore so cheap can't even afford to pay employees. They've been taking externship so they don't have to pay to their dirty work. Careless, you people should be ashamed for doing all this dirty way.

I had CareMore insurance last year for my family. One family member is diabetic. "I had to pay, (out of pocket), between $4,000.00 and 5,000.00 for insulin." This year my Stanford Health insurance charges me " $4.00 For a 3 month supply!" This insurance carrier does not "Care more" BUT Couldn't Care LESS! Run Away, Run Away from the Savage Un-Caring Beasts!

My mother resides in assisted care for Alzheimer's/dementia and was a Kaiser patient. To deal with Kaiser for her was a logistical nightmare for appointments, communications, inept doctors, mistakes, different departments, etc. Just getting her there was difficult. We were informed about Caremore and learned what they provide for her. As anyone hesitates to ever change healthcare, I played the role of Devil's advocate to find a reason to not switch. Couldn't do it.

We switched. I am now sorry we didn't do this much sooner. I consider them God-sent to deal with, and care for both my mother and father. They visit her weekly or more often if needed. They analyze everything including drugs and adjust as required. They do lab tests on site. They are caring, thoughtful, sensitive people who provide the service Kaiser would not.

One stop shopping for everything and we've already saved a lot of money. Talking to 2 different people at Kaiser takes 2 different co-pays-nevermind the lab tests. Caremore is designed for assisted care or memory unit care elderly and there's not enough space here for me to detail all of it. I can communicate easily by email or cell phone with nurses and doctors as the son to consult on her care. I don't understand any negative reviews. I only wish I had gone here sooner.

Do not use Caremore insurance. Run away, run far away. They are stingy in approving any medications, treatments, etc. They don't think of the health of the patient; they don't want to pay for anything even if it's medically justified and needed. Stingy, cheap, not patient or health oriented.

I feel badly that I convinced my mother that the CareMore delivery model would be great. I failed to remember that, for any business model, the required element for success is great people. The receptionists do not turn on their phones at the published business hours, which then necessitates personal visits to their center if you need attention. After several attempts to get a hold of someone in the office, my mother convinced me to do it her way so we jumped into the car and headed into the clinic.

Once there, we were greeted by medical assistants who clearly dislike their jobs and are annoyed when asked for help. As I observed my poor 75 year old mother asking for help, I finally intervened with enough demand that they demonstrated a somewhat helpful demeanor. This was true of the front desk, the nurses and the doctor. I wonder how most patients are treated, if they don't have someone advocating for them.

As a healthcare worker myself, I feel obligated to share my observations with CMS because my tax dollars are certainly not yielding world class care for my mother who would never treat others as she experiences in this center. I just wish we had better options in this community!

My parent have both been CareMore members since 2010. The service they receive at the Care Center has been great. The staff is very friendly and helpful every time that they have been seen or I call in with questions, which is quite often since both my parents have chronic conditions. Having transferred from the Kaiser Health Care system it took a bit of getting used to not having everything under one roof, but the family like service we receive at the Center has helped ease our transition.

Their primary doctor is very attentive and patient with both of them. This was the best coverage for their money and everything that was explained to them has been true plus more, like free toe nail trimming, free gym membership at their gym which is called Nifty After Fifty and physical therapy there is free as well. We love the ease of mail order prescription medications, which has saved them so much money and me lots of trips to the pharmacy. Thank you CareMore for coming to San Jose and changing the lives of many Seniors for the better, since prevention is what you do.
