Just want to say this is the first time while living in this area that I've found a doctor who listened, and produced results/sent me to the right spots. I've had multiple lingering issues on and off for a few years now, and within 5 months of my first appointment, and them really taking the time to help me get where I needed to be I'm doing things I haven't been able to in about 3 years. Dr Hoitink and his nurse(forgive me I'm terrible with names) are fantastic!

I wanted to put a "minus" one star rating . They do not want to see children under 12 years old . I came with two children. One is three years old, I cannot leave him alone, as they suggested in the car or outside. And the older child cannot let one go to the appointment alone because she is not 17 years old!

My experience with CMC has been absolutely horrible. (Even the employees have expressed to me how horrible of a place it is to work at. WOW) I was forced to come in for a physical (or they wouldn't give me my normal 3 pack of birth control) and I went in July 5, 2021. They scheduled me to have lab work on the day the lab was literally closed. They were on holiday.

Before this, they were trying to make me come in for two seperate visits for absolutely no reason (just trying to money gouge I'm assuming.) so, I went there to just be told they made a mistake scheduling me that day and I needed to reschedule. The nurse told me I was not going to be charged the co-pay since you know, I DROVE THERE FOR NO REASON. they ended up charging me $74 for that visit.

I contacted them 4 times (3 times by patient portal and 1 time by phone.) I have been extremely respectful attempting to communicate with them about this. They have ignored me and refuse to respond to anything. Instead, they sent me a letter in the mail stating I was no longer welcome to their doctors office (believe me, I wasn't planning on going back so def no loss there! ) I will be contacting the BBB and they can handle it. if somehow they can't, I will be getting a lawyer.

So if you're reading this DR. HOITINK, go ahead and determine if this truly worth the trouble for you. You have been an awful doctor and I regret EVER coming to you for medical services.

Since becoming a patient with Dr. Hsu, I have been treated with nothing but kindness and compassion as I've navigated through some health issues that were seriously impacting my day to day life. Never once have I felt rushed, and everyone is always on top of what I am needing (even when I find myself confused.) My husband's doctor has left her practice recently, (without even telling him, ) and so he's hoping I can get him in to see Dr. Hsu as well. I can't more highly recommend their services.

THEY REALLY LIVE UP TO THEIR 2.5 STAR REVIEWS! I would've went to a different physician, but due to COVID a lot of places weren't accepting new patients. 1) they didn't take my insurance, but I needed a physical for school so I paid out of pocket 2) I've called and left the nurses voicemails to pick it up/ needed more stuff added to the physical for the past 2 days, and still no answer or response back 3) they gave me the run around and don't let me know things that I'm suppose to. All in all, they're a total mess. please consider another place if you can.

FRAUDULENT, UNETHICAL, AND UNPROFESSIONAL! Sheryl Lamb told me that she was going to prescribe me a medication, but I would need labs. I thought what was performed in office was going to be sent to a lab. So I am waiting for my results a week later when it was told to me that it would only be one day that my results would be back. I get a call to come in to sign off on papers for my prescription and to schedule labs when I was under the impression, what was done in the office was considered my labs.

The next day the NURSE Manager calls and said my labs would be canceled and I would not be getting my prescription. The Nurse Manager (unprofessional lady) lied and told S. Lamb that I said I was not going to wait for my prescription any longer so Lamb canceled the prescription that she stated that she would write. So basically I paid for a service and didn't get the prescription. I will dispute with my insurance and be calling the board for both parties.

If Carolina Medical Consultants could just get rid of (fire) KIM (billing/ receptionist).these ratings would probably increase! For some reason, Kim has the nastiest attitude for NO REASON. She even answers the phone abruptly as if she doesn't want to be bothered. Other reviews even show how "unprofessional" Kim is. Sheryl Lamb is the Best. I just wish she would choose another practice to work for. She's very attentive and accommodating for your medical needs.

The doctors at this practice are absolutely wonderful! My husband and I have only had great experiences here starting with our first visit over 5 years ago. We have seen several of the doctors and appreciate that they are attetentive, caring and never rush through our appointments. They are also very accommodating with sick appointments as well.

Never a good experience. And I gave them time after time to prove me wrong. The nurses don't have any interest in their job, the bloodwork nurses never answer the phones or call you back, and the receptionists aren't welcoming. They take forever to get anything done in terms of paperwork/results and they don't call you back. Everyone there seemed unprofessional. Will not be going back or recommending.

Called twice in three weeks for a medical. The appointment has to be set up with office supervisor. Left 2 voicemails to schedule an appointment and have not heard a peep. If that tells you anything.

I just came back home from a visit here. I've been here about 4 times and this last time my insurance was denied. The reason it was denied was because I have not updated my bank card for my insurance company and ask if they will wait so I can handle that. The Caucasian lady goes to the back, with the African American lady and I over heard them talking in the rudest ways of "how I don't got no mo-ney" and "I ain't want to pay" and that "he can't afford insurance" with them laughing and making me feel very uncomfortable and with others around that can hear what they are saying.

And with the looks they gave me was so unwelcoming. So I just said, let me just pay for it I'm not worried about insurance no more. They have no idea, what I do for a living, and I very rarely don't write reviews. Not to mention, I do like dr. Jenkins but all of the appointments I went to I felt completely rushed, but I do understand they are busy.

That was my very last time going there. And if those rude lady's are going to talk about someone, maybe they should speak more privately. And to be positive, the African American lady that takes blood samples is very respectful and nice. I couldn't speak for anyone else that works there as I haven't met them.

I drive a little over an hour to see Dr Jenkins, he listens and cares. Dr Hsu is wonderful as well. I've gone for sick visits and well visits and they have treated me with the utmost respect and care.

Very disappointed with the billing practices of this office. I was scheduled for a check up and was charged as a sick visit. This must be common practice because when I called the office they said this particular doctor would not change it and if he did then he would charge for a second visit for that day. I was not in his presence for more than 10 minutes.

He wrote a prescription for me (which is what I thought these visits were for) and referred me for an issue which I had already been to his office for and spoke to him about BOTH issues before the check-up.or what I thought was a check-up. BE CAREFUL if you schedule an annual visit here. SOUNDS like unless you don't need their services and are not a picture of health you will be charged differently than you expected.

Ive rarely written negative reviews but I had an awful experience with this practice. Scheduled an annual physical/well-exam with their staff. When I showed up, they brought me into a room where I was proceeded to be treated as an office visit. I tried to make clear to the office staff that they messed up but they didn't care, and insisted on billing my insurance for an office visit.

I insisted that I was long overdue for blood work but they did not care. In fact, they said because I "talked to the doctor about having stress from work" it was billed as a office visit.despite the fact that no medication was prescribed. Complete lack of patient care and attention to detail. That was my first and only visit. I'm much happier now with Piedmont Family Practice in Baxter. If you are new to the area like I am and are in need of a new doctor, I would highly recommend looking somewhere else.

I'm not sure which doctor Yvonne was seeing, but I was recommended to Dr. Jenkins probably 8 years ago now, give or take. I've gone in for sick issues and my yearly check ups with no issues. Sometimes you have the wait time in your room, but that's part of going to a doctor. I just had my yearly and I have to say I really have trust in my doctor and like that he cares about keeping me healthy.

Always makes sure all of my questions are answered. Even though I have moved to Charlotte, I still make the trek back to Carolina's Medical Consultants for my appointments.

Fly by doctors.they don't have time to talk to you about anything. If you have more than one symptom you have to wait two weeks and come back. They can't do all of it in one visit. Not impressed at all. Will be changing doctors
