Dr. Mubarak was my pediatrician in the 90s. And now both my children go to this practice and I absolutely love them. I have never had any problems with them! When my son was born, I was able to get Dr. Mubarak to be his pediatrician. When my daughter was born, Dr. Mubarak was unavailable so I got Dr. Donahue. My children absolutely love Dr. Donahue!

Every doctor I have come in contact with here has been amazing. I have never had any issues with anybody in the downtown office. They are always willing to answer any questions and explain things. I plan on never going anywhere else!

My 34 year old son was a patient at Carolina Pediatrics in the 80 with Dr. Mubarak. Now my grandchildren see Dr. Kumar in the downtown office. I love this practice. From the minute we walk in the door until we leave we are treated so well. My grands trust Dr. Kumar and that's important. I love this practice. They treat your kids like they are their own

Closed after hours care without notice many parents frantically trying to find care for their sick infants on a weekend. Disappointing for the only pediatric after hours care in the midlands to close without warning and leave no other alternative.

We had a great experience there today with Dr Wessinger. They were friendly and the place was clean and we lucked out and didn't wait very long less than an hour from start to finish, and this was on a Sunday at 5pm when nothing else was open. I would definitely recommend, especially if you need to be seen outside of your own practice's office hours.

We needed a flu test and Doctors Care charges $200 for a flu test! Here we got one and paid our $20 copay. All to find out she didn't have the flu anyway. So glad I was referred here by a friend.

This practice is absolutely wonderful. Each doctor truly cares about each child personally. If you are looking for a new doctor or new to the area this is the most caring & humble office I have ever come in contact with. You would would have to be out of your mind to not give these special doctors a try. Plus the front staff is delightful!

I have been taking my daughters to this location for about 2yrs now and Dr. Jones and her staff are awesome! Everyone is friendly and our wait time isn't long either! If I need a refill they sent it right away to our pharmacy! Dr. Jones is very thorough and listens to my concerns. I switched from the Irmo location cause they were the complete opposite! Kudos to the Adams Grove Carolina Pediatrics & Adolescent Care location!

Had a terrible experience at this place. The first visit was with Doctor Kumar which was some what pleasant except the nurse glued her fingers to my daughters chin while holding her cut closed to get liquid stitches. that made the experience more painful when she had to remove her fingers. however that wasnt the worst experience the worst was with another doctor who had no interest in listening to my concerns about my daughters particular condition.

I paid money to waste my own time. He also could do with doing some more research on the particular illness my daughter was seen for. because some of his statements did not make any sense. I will not explain into detail because this is not the place, but I was very displeased with this practice.

True the front desk staff is not great, but I've never had a problem with our doctor or nurses. They are always friendly, caring, and good with the kids. I have never had to deal with office staff much (I don't call in except to schedule appointments. One time I called to talk to the doctor on call and that went well). Ive never had to wait more than 20 minutes, usually less! So no problems here. I deducted one star because the office staff could be more attentive.

There was one great person--Joanna (Nurse Practitioner)--and she left. These individuals are the most unprofessional folks I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The doctors appear to have graduated in the 5th percentile of their class. Their nurses are cold and uncaring. The Irmo practice is measurably better but unrealistic given the distance from our home and jobs. Please, do yourself a favor and find a doctor and practice who does not treat every patient like they're unintelligent and disposable. I actually had one of the doctors encourage me to switch my 6 month old infant to formula because of an upset stomach.

I love doctor Kumar in the downtown location! My 7 yr old has been seeing him since she was about 9 months now my three month old sees him as well. He is great with my children and i have no problem getting everything I need from them. He answers all my questions and is very personable. I am thankful for the awesome care he provides to my children.

Honestly, I wish I could give ZERO stars for my recent experience with this practice. I have used the Carolina Pediatrics (CP) Urgent Care/After Hours care at Parkridge twice. The first experience was good. That was with Dr. Mubarak and went smoothly. He listened and did a thorough examination and gave excellent recommendations for future care and provided our regular pediatrician an excellent visit summary for follow-up.

Yesterday was my second and absolute last time using the services of CP. I arrived with my daughter right after they opened at 2pm and was greeted and signed in. We waited in the lobby for just a few minutes when the nurse escorts us to a room and informs me that the doctor was late and we would have to wait. The nurse asked a few questions to determine the reason for the visit and symptoms, took my daughter's temperature (did not tell me what it was) and left us in the room.

Around an hour later I left the room to visit the restroom and saw the nurse practitioner talking with the nurse. The NP says I was just coming to see you and follows us into the room, never introduces herself, and begins her cursory assessment. Based off of what I told the nurse she had already determined that what I thought was wrong with my daughter was incorrect.

I tried to clarify and expound on the details but was rather curtly told that the issue was related to poor hygiene and that I needed to do a better job. I again attempted to explain and was again cut off and told by the nameless nurse practitioner that I really needed to focus on hygiene and moisturizing her skin (which had NOTHING to do with the reason for our visit).

We left at 3:45. It took nearly two hours to learn that the reason my daughter isn't feeling well is because I don't bathe her or use lotion frequently enough. Overall, I was forced to wait for a ridiculous length of time to be completely insulted, have my concerns dismissed, and left with my child still not feeling well. We'll see her regular physician today and hopefully leave with answers and less frustration. NP Waganer (I had to go to the CP website to even find her name!), may have been having a bad day or perhaps she is always this rude, has definitely changed my opinion on this practice for good. This was one of the worst care experiences I've ever had.
