Please do not come in the office if you have fever, cough, shortness of breath, or any flu-like symptoms. Please CALL the office and speak to a nurse for advice. Also, we ask that you bring no more than one person with you to your appointment. We are a full-service Ob/Gyn practice, delivering women the exceptional care, medical expertise, compassion and support they deserve through every life cycle - from menstruation and childbirth to menopause and beyond. We've been a leader in women's healthcare for over 30 years, introducing many innovations and advancements that have become the gold standard of treatment and care for our specialty.
Services
The television has many ads outlining the possible complications of vaginal mesh surgeries. The providers at Cartersville OB/Gyn Associates have addressed these issues with ongoing patients over the past few years. We are also reaching out to patients whom we have not seen in many years to assist with any complications associated with their mesh.
After office hours, a physician is always available by calling the answering service, at our main office number (770-386-4824). The operator will send the on-call physician or midwife a text message or call them directly. If there is no response within 15-20 minutes (the on-call physician or midwife may be tied up in a delivery, for example), call the hospital's main switchboard (770-382-1530) and ask the operator to page us, or call the Labor & Delivery Suite (770-606-2100).Office hours are by appointment only.

I'm so tired of leaving this office in tears. Dr Kenner is possibly one of the least compassionate doctors I've seen and I'll be switching from her practice immediately. I would expect a little kindness and compassion over missing an appointment due to a life changing auto accident. Despite the fact that I called, while dying in a hospital, to let them know what was up it was somehow still on ME that they didn't direct me to a phone consultation with her.

She reprimanded and shamed me in my appointment for not seeking treatment, while I was recovering from TWO broken legs, TWO broken wrists, an awful concussion and so many wounds. She has absolutely no compassion and doesn't listen. She made it very clear she was angry about having to restart my treatment, and the stress that puts on her, as if it's not her job. I didn't ask for a near death experience. If you see anyone at this practice, let it be Dr Barfield. He is wonderful, kind, compassionate and knowledgeable unlike DR Kenner.

This is the best OBGYN by far. There isn't a person in this practice that isn't respectful and kind. This is my second pregnancy with this office and it was even smoother this time around than the first. The nurses are always so welcoming and my preferred OB Dr. Staci Kenner is the best! She always makes me feel like she's talking to a friend and so accommodating to everything thrown at her.

This office makes you see every Dr/Midwife incase your preferred dr is not on call at the time, and there isn't a dr/midwife that I would be upset about having. They're all just great. So thankful for this office.

I have been going to Dr. Barfield for a few years now, and I have never felt so relaxed at the OBGYN. He ensures that you feel comfortable in the office and is ready to solve any problem or answer any question you come in with. I would highly recommend him and this practice!

Worst doctor clinic, recently changed to a doctors office. This clinic does not genuinely care about you or your well being during pregnancy not sure if that goes for the other doctors but my experience was very poor, was waiting over 3 weeks for a call back on lab tests and a prescription and they completely forgot about me, they do not care about patients and I kept having to call for my appointments. Do not recommend. Receptionists are also very dismissive and don't care to help customers, everyone who works here is dismissive and just cares about being paid. Good luck.

Dr. Staci Kenner-Fuller is the best! She listens to hear you and not just respond. She is compassionate and understanding. Appointments are timely and efficient. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a female OB/GYN that you can dialogue with and that cares about your wellbeing as a person and a patient.

Honestly. I wish I had something good to say about this place. The first red flag was that they refused to refer to me by my married name even when asked. They sent me a text, asking to call when I got there because they weren't allowing patients in the waiting room. Great! I called when I got there & during the time I was waiting in my car, I saw at least 3 women park, get out of the car, & go in without a call.

When we got inside, my appointment was rushed. I didn't have enough time to even finish two pages of paperwork before I was being called back. The Dr I saw, Dr Kenner, was very dismissive of any questions or concerns I had. Honestly she was very insulting when she refused to answer some of my questions & then told me she could "just tell I was one of THOSE people" (this is my first pregnancy.

The question I asked was about a combined spinal block & epidural - she refused to answer. I then picked up a magazine in her office which explained to me what it was. My husband also made a comment about something on a poster in her office - which she said wasn't true information. The ultrasound was very fast & I had no time to ask questions.

Do not come here if you would like a holistic birth because I was informed I'd be confided to my back only, not allowed to eat, in the bed. Do any amount of research & you will see why this is a red flag. I came back for one more visit ONLY because it was already previously scheduled & I wanted to see the baby & get the blood work done. (She gave me no choice in the blood work, by the way) The ultrasound tech was much nicer than Dr Kenner, however she informed us of gender before 13 weeks, which is illegal in some places to tell gender that soon because it is far too early. I ended up getting a second opinion on the ultrasound & what she told us was a penis was not in fact a penis. I could go on & on about this place. just avoid it.

3 weeks before birth my my child's mother started having issues, they kept declining delivery for 3 weeks, getting her back stable and sending us back home. My daughter was born with brain injuries. Last night I thought we lost her due to seizures, and that wasn't the first time. I highly suggest getting a second opinion if you have any questions.

Also don't believe a word they say, trust your gut feelings. Dr Barfield is the one I'm referring to, I'll never forgive him. Again, trust your instincts, not him. Even if he says no it's not time like he did us over and over again. You don't want to end up with a child in the condition mines in, I promise. Update: 1/11/2020 She has now passed away

The team at Cartersville OBGYN has delivered 2 of my babies now. They are all welcoming and wonderful. Throughout my pregnancies, they answered all my questions and genuinely cared about my concerns. All of them are great but I highly recommend Rebecca, Ashley, and Stacy! Highly recommend.

Had a hysterectomy via Dr. Barfield a few years ago. I was very pleased to finally get some help. He took time and answered every question- until after my hysterectomy. Then I was practically non existent. My follow up appointment was a long wait with about a two minute check, and he didn't listen to any of my questions, nor did he give much time for it.

I also was back at the hospital the day of the surgery due to severe pain. They just do the surgery and send you home, which is most likely insurance, but they should advocate for at least a 24 hour stay. I mean, they are removing an organ. I also have had worse back problems since the surgery. I thought at first they were a Godsend, but in the end just felt like a number for his paycheck. 3 stars for the beginning, as they did resolve the issues I was having.

I first started going to this practice when I got pregnant. I generally hate doctors and don't like or trust any, but the doctors, nurses, and staff here became the exception. During my prenatal care, I got to see all of the doctors and midwives (and their nurses) and I would have felt comfortable with any of them delivering my baby. The nurses are kind and really care about their patients, they will really come through for you when you need it.

The billing staff will also answer any questions and find ways to work with you if needed. In the end, I decided to make this my regular gynecologist office, not just for my future pregnancy. If you come here for prenatal care, you will end up delivering at Cartersville Medical Center, which is also an amazing place.

I have been going to Dr Ribot as my OBGYN for 4 years and he is awesome! Very knowlegeable, makes you feel comfortable ans he is super gentle! I have had 2 previous experiences somewhere else that were horrible & very painful. I drive from marietta to cartersville because he is the best! His staff is so sweet and makes you feel at home. I plan to have him as my OBGYN whenever I begin planning to have children. He has been my stepsister and stepmom's OBGYN for many years as well. DEFINITELY recommend him to all my friends and family!
