This establishment is so lucky to have Fran the most amazing physical therapist EVER! She takes her time and is very thoural and urges you to push yourself just enough to see results. Her knowledge and care and concern for each individual case is just phenomenal. As long as you do your part; results are not far away. You will certainly be missed. Again thank you a million

I was at the Carthage emergency room this morning for symptoms of kidney stones. Take care and compassion that I received from Dr. Lee and the other nurses and staff was absolutely Phenomenal. I cannot express my gratitude for them taking such great care of me and trying to alleviate the extreme pain that I was in. This was by far the best medical experience I've ever had!

I took my 6 year old son in at 4:00 on a Friday because he cut his lip after a fall. The staff was friendly and quick to get him seen. Every nurse we saw was wonderful to him and helped ease his anxiety over receiving stitches. George (a PA) was fantastic and stitched his lip perfectly. Thank you all for caring for my boy!

The worst hospital I've been too. I was throwing up and running fever I had to sit in the waiting room for over 2 1/2 hours! The first nurse was so rude and was like " we aren't gonna let people die in the waiting room" but I give props to the second nurse because she was so nice and trying to keep everyone calm. But then my nco tried to find out some info about what was going on with me and they kicked her out. One of the worst places and will not be going back

My daughter is New to Syracuse after successfully exiting out of the Marine Corps. Her husband is stationed at Fort Drum so this I'm assuming is the nearest hospital. Anyhow she was in severe pain, and feeling faint at about 12:30 am. She tries to drive herself to the hospital from the base, but felt she couldn't physically make it. Her husband had to stay behind with a two, and one year old (They don't know anyone to help them out with the kids at this time of night).

I live in Connecticut, and stayed on the phone with her. She felt very uncomfortable in the ambulance to the point where I was physically sickened. She was scared out of her mind! Then when she gets to this Hospital, and begins to explain her symptoms she is mistreated by a nurse named Wendy. Well mind you I'm on the phone with her to help her out in what she may need to say, and also as her comfort (I'm her MOTHER)!

This Nurse told my daughter to get off the phone or she wouldn't be able to help her! I told my daughter to let the nurse know it's her mom. The Nurse left out the room. I have never been treated this way where I'm from when at a doctors office or hospital. Now with this all being said I work at a hospital myself! I have never treated a patient or family member the way this rude lady did my daughter!

The doctor came and saw my daughter and did absolutely nothing! She was stuck at the hospital with no ride until about two am! She was sick! Thank God she made it here to Connecticut to get better care! It almost seemed as if your hospital doesn't care for Black people. My daughter is hospitalized here and being taken care of as I type this. Shame on you all!

Radiology front desk customer service is atrocious. I showed up on time to my appointment and before I even get a "good morning" or "hello", I'm told I'm late and it's 100% my fault, and I'd have to wait for an hour. There was no confirmation calls to ensure I knew to arrive 30 mins early for my MRI, no apology for subpar scheduling work or anything.

Just nasty looks and told to wait for an hour. Please train your staff in customer service and how to work through scheduling errors with respect. I worked front desk at one of the largest hospitals in NYS and if I had the same nasty, dismissive attitude as the 2 women at the front desk this morning, I'd be fired! Hoping I never have to return here again. Came to the ER 6 years ago during a miscarriage and had a terrible experience then too. I see nothing has changed.

My 5 year old son went in for a bad stomach bug. From the moment we walked threw the door every single person who we saw helped and all were so kind! We spent 3 days as my son was dehydrated and just could not keep anything down. Not only did they care so well for him but they also made sure I also had what I needed to be okay. I want to thank all the nurses and all staff each and everyone of you made this time much easier to bare.

I did not feel like I had to do this alone not one bit. Dr. Beane you are a fantastic and caring doctor I am so grateful for how well you cared for my son. Phylicia the nurse who cared for my son and myself you have a beautiful heart you listened when I just needed to talk and you even let me know I was doing a great job as a mom. You will never understand how much that meant to me.

The toy stethoscope you gave my son and now he knows how to hear a heartbeat. Phil thank you for being patient with my son as he did not want to wake up and understanding what it's like to be a parent. Carol the aide thank you for always asking if I was okay or needed anything you are so sweet thank you for making my son laugh when joking with him and the coloring book!

There are others I did not name as I didn't write them all down but all of you have made an impact not only in mine but my sons life from the doctors The aids the nurses the maintenance the nutritionist and if there's anyone I had forgot to put in here I apologize. I will never forget how you all made me feel as I am so grateful for all of you!

Doctor asked me if I go to church, replied with I'm not a spiritual person and his response well it could help. So I was basically told I need Jesus. Proceeded to try to explain to me I have no business feeling the way I do because I have a roof over my head, a job, and a decent relationship with my family and fiance. But redeemed himself by prescribing me anxiety meds. Wait time wasn't half bad. Nurses were nice.

Sad to post this because it used to be a great hospital. Took my wife there, having all the covid symptoms, and I have no idea what they did because they don't tell you anything they tell the sick person who has no idea what is going on. She was in and out of there in less then an hour and couldn't tell me if they did anything or not just that she had to go.

The next day a nurse calls about some test results I'm assuming, but refuses to talk to me even though my wife is still out of it and can't talk. I tried explaining to the nurse she couldn't talk and she said fine and hung up. Will not be going here again and will be filing a complaint through the state.

This is by far, the worst hospital/ emergency room that we have ever been to. They treated my wife with complete disrespect and rushed her out of the ER. They called me every hour until I came and picked her up, and they we extremely disrespectful to me. She asked for water, and they told her okay, but then never came back into the room. Carthage Area Hospital has been the worst healthcare experience that we have endured, and we will never be going back there! Dr. Ric Turrin and the nurses (Minus Peter) working on 22DEC21 in the ER were the worst healthcare workers that we have seen. By far the worst hospital in in northern New York!
