If you are the type of person who needs that "warm and fuzzy" feeling from a doctor office, this is not the place for your family. We have not had a favorable experience with this office. I have never felt as though my daughter was valued as a patient; she was just another number to get through the day. Two-star rating (as opposed to one) due to the minimal/short wait times before appointments.

I has a bad experience today with the receptionist over the phone. I contacted the office to fix a misunderstanding of the services needed for my child. The receptionist refused to listen and talked over me as I tried to explain the situation. I understand she does not work in the back office but she needed to hear what I was saying to know I needed to speak with the referral specialist and not the nurse.

Rather than listening, she asked me to hold and sent me to the nurses voicemail. I have never experienced this at this office. I work at a doctors office as a therapist so I am fully aware of the process of referrals, I am not saying I know everything, but I knew what I was requesting. If this lady would have listened rather than being rude I could have had a better experience and she would not have talked to me twice in one day. I'm disappointed in the way she handled this. I was able to get ahold of the referral specialist and she assisted me with everything.

Dr v or dr Villarreal is the reason we go. I couldn't give him high enough praise. Also dr Gallagher is amazing. I'm on some Raleigh parenting groups and you should see the raving reviews he gets from moms and dads. If I could I would post them here. It's evidence based medicine, but Dr v always LISTENS first. For like a long time. He believes in mom instincts.

I was worried about something and he just told me to come in because I was worried. It ended up being nothing too severe but he always believes and listens and that's worth it's weight in gold.

This place will not give you the help you need. No one will listen to your problem or be comfortable to help. They just want your money. My daughter has add and the therapist has recommended medication. We has turning all the paperwork and wanting for a call the get the resources that we need. It never call and when we call back they say the doctor is not "comfortable" to give medication.

After all the work we have done (at least five appointment) and the money we paid no help it provide. They say that no one in this office feels comfortable to help. Dr. Kathleen Gallagher has ask for the paperwork and say will be in contact with the therapist. They nurse call and only ask did she signs out the note and say they will be to problem but after all the work and wait we got a simple NO saying she's not comfortable and no one will. This place is horrible and I don't recommend any one go.

We moved to NC and we're looking for a new pediatrician for our 5 and 1 year old. We went to the Cary location and saw Dr. Seidel and loved it. The staff is so friendly and attentive. Dr. Seidel takes the time to listen, is very friendly and easy to talk to. She is helpful and knowledgeable about any issues we have had. We lucked out in finding such a great place as soon as we moved.

I was actually a patient of Cary Pediatrics as a child and now I take my own children there. In fact, when I was in the hospital after delivering my second child, Dr. Steele was doing rounds and recognized me! I have only had positive experiences at this practice. Yes, wait times are long (but I've had that same problem with my own doctors as an adult).

While I have been lucky enough to have healthy children who rarely need sick visits, I have never had a problem making a sick appointment. I have also had positive experiences with leaving messages for the nurses line. They always call back in a timely manner and are always able to give advice over the phone. They can usually tell me if my child's symptoms sound like what they've been seeing in office and how long it may last, etc.

If they think my children actually need to be seen, they quickly schedule an appointment for me. I also very much appreciate how the doctors in this practice are cautious with prescribing antibiotics as well. I sometimes just need the reassurance that my kids have a virus and will be fine without antibiotics, and I have never felt like the doctors look down on me for choosing to bring them in on those occasions.

Cary Pediatric Center is an overall great practice! We primarily see Dr. Villareal for all of our well-visits - he is very thorough and always listens to all of our concerns. We have also seen Dr. Simpson on multiple occasions for sick appointments. He took care of my sons umbilical granuloma immediately and was very gentle. The nurses have always been very patient with my child. The office staff are great - never any issues with scheduling or billing. Highly recommend!

My children have been patients at the Cary office for more than 8 years. I have always had positive experiences with the providers. However, the office staff have been less than kind. Making and keeping appointments has been a struggle and the lack of sympathy on their behalf makes me wonder if they really care about their patients. After having told them we would no longer be taking our children there, we received a phone call from one of the office supervisors.

Not only did she not apologize for our unpleasant experiences, she proceeded to tell us we had missed some appointments and we would no longer be able to take our children there (?). I was perplexed. The lack of professionalism was even more evident by adding insult to injury. I will be glad to be going elsewhere in the future.

We have been going to Dr. Seidel for six years and have never had a bad experience. I always find her to be professional, diplomatic and courteous. She clearly has a heavy patient load but always asks if I have any concerns or questions after my son's exam. I come prepared and we discuss everything I have on my list. She treats me as an intelligent and informed parent and never talks down to me.

And the same goes for our son who has special needs. I had a doctor recently speak to him in a very condescending, cutesy manner. Dr. Hope would never do that. I decided to write this after seeing a couple of negative reviews. Keep in mind that most people who are truly happy with a service don't usually bother to write reviews. That's true of me. Until today!

We have been seeing Dr. Sidel for over 3 years. She is absolutely wonderful. She has a casual yet professional demeanor which makes me and my children feel very comfortable when we go for a visit. Cary Pediatrics has taken great care of my two daughters. I always get a call back from the nurse line. I read a review saying that there was a $15 charge.

I have never been charged for a call however I wouldn't mind paying as I consider this a service, not a courtesy. I have been sent to Wake Med twice by Cary Pediatrics and both times I received a follow up call to make sure my children were "OK".
