Dr. Griffin was awesome. I had PRK done in April and I am super satisfied with my vision. Dr. Griffin was very attentive, and Even though LASIK might have been easier for him, he recommended the safer route of PRK because of my situation. The surgery was quick, I was in and out of the surgery suite in less than 10 minutes. The staff is friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend Dr. Griffin and Utah Eye Centers to everyone.

I received PRK a few months ago working with Dr. Griffin. He was very knowledgeable and able to answer questions well. The procedure went very well and I appreciated all the follow ups after the procedure. Best vision I've had as long as I can remember. The staff are all great to work with as well.

Dr. Griffin is fantastic! He takes a genuine interest in people. After having eye surgery in January of 2021, he checked in with me multiple times in order to see how the recovery was coming along. The surgery was performed by another individual, but he wanted to make sure I was doing great! Go see him for your eye needs!

In one month I went from thinking I needed new contacts lenses to learning during an eye exam I had cataracts in both eyes, to laser cataract surgery, to almost 20/20 vision in both eyes now. I haven't seen this well in over 60 years! I'm thrilled! The entire process from start to finish has been stress free and pleasant. All the people in the office, from the receptionists, to technicians, to nurses, etc., to Dr. Griffin were all very professional, caring and friendly. Dr. Griffin went out of his way to answer my questions and concerns and to insure my crazy astigmatism would be addressed.

All this was very reassuring to me. The surgery on each eye went well. I was calm before, during and after knowing what to expect because they had adequately informed me and my recovery went well too. I experienced no pain whatsoever during or after the surgery. That still amazes me! To me the whole experience with Utah Eye Centers is a miracle! I thank God every day for my vision. It's a new lease on my 70+ years of life. THANK YOU Dr. Griffin and staff!

Working with Dr Griffin was such a great experience. Not only was he prompt getting me in, he and his staff made me feel comfortable. Dr Griffin would follow up after surgery and give his personal number in case I had any concerns. Before surgery, he called and asked me to come in because he was reviewing my case and wanted to re-test to see if we could improve my options. I am completely happy with the cataract surgery and love not wearing glasses! Thank you Utah Eye Centers and Dr Griffin.

I had lasik surgery in December 2021 with Dr. Griffin. He was very thorough and reassuring through every step of the process. Even on the day of surgery when not everything went exactly as planned (when does anything in life really), Dr. Griffin was reassuring and communicated clearly and effectively so I understood everything and felt comfortable. In addition, all staff that I have met at the Pleasant Grove location so far have been kind and helpful.

I see Dr. Griffin's and Utah Eye Center's ads on television all the time. Dr. Griffin: "I restore SIGHT to the BLIND! Can I get a HALLELUJAH?! Can I get an AMEN?!" Don't get me wrong. If the Good Doctor performs miracles, more power to him. Sadly, however, apparently, It's just those of us who can still see relatively well that he can't help. The doctor refused to sign off on my driver license, in part because, apparently, he does not understand the Driver License Division's vision standards.

After wasting my time and money with Utah Eye Centers (they have a convenient location in Pleasant Grove!), I did what I should have done in the first place, and went to Moran Eye Center's South Jordan location. Sure, it was a little bit out of the way. not to mention the fact that, to hear Dr. Griffin tell it, I put the entirety of the motoring public in jeopardy by getting behind the wheel to drive up there! [Gasp!] Sure, I must have my vision reevaluated every year, but it's a small price to pay for maintaining my driving privilege. EDIT: To the Good Doctor's enormous credit, he called me after seeing this review.

He was contrite (about the fact that my experience was an unpleasant one, at least), while I, in turn, felt bad about "raking him over the coals." While, still, I plan to have my future vision care needs met elsewhere, it is an extraordinary thing for a medical professional, most of whom, in my experience, out of professional hubris, are much more prone to digging in their heels when confronted with information such as this, to be so contrite.

I don't know that I've ever had that kind of an experience with a medical professional before, and believe me, I'm no stranger at all to medical science. In light of my frank, harsh (perhaps too harsh) assessment of him, t took great courage for him to follow up with me, especially personally. (Perhaps someone else would have said, "Yeah, I should follow up with him, but, Meh!

I'll just have one of the nurses, one of the assistants, or one of the office staff call him!") While I am letting my original review stand, the reader should understand that, while I intend to have future eye care needs met elsewhere, in retrospect, the frankness (harshness? brutality?) of my original review has been tempered by what, undeniably, is Dr. Griffin's great courage in attempting to mend fences.

I was a bit nervous about having my eyes worked on when I went in, but I shouldn't have been because Dr Griffin did a great job. He was easy to talk with, and came across as caring. My questions were all addressed before I decided to go ahead and have the cataracts removed. The office was kind and went to great lengths to make sure I understood the lenses that I chose were what I wanted.

After my second eye was worked on my vision was a little slower clearing up from the surgery. Dr Griffen was on the phone the next two days checking with me to assure me that it was okay and it will clear up. My eyes came out very near perfect (20/20) and still improving.

Dr. David Griffin, from the Utah Eye Centeds in Pmeasant Grove, did an outstanding job with my cataract surgery. I chose the PanOptics lens and it has been a great choice. My vision clarity not only improved drastically, but my overall vision was at 20/50 the afternoon after the surgery, and at my one week follow up, improved even more. Dr. Griffin was very friendly, knowledgeable of the latest techniques, and his staff was amazing as well.

He answered my questions, and even personally followed up a few days after surgery to check in my progress and healing. I would highly recommend Dr. Griffin for your eye and vision needs. I felt like I was important in his office and his care. Vision is a critical sense, and I feel like h really helped myself by going to Utah Eye Centers and seeing Dr. Griffin. The lens I chose has been well worth the extra money.

My wife needs new glasses. This has been the case for a long time now. She is a student and is struggling to be able to see in lectures. She also is concerned about driving because she can't see the road signs well. She went in and met with Dr. Griffin. She had dry eyes. He prescribed her drops and refused to write her a prescription for glasses.

Now she won't be able to drive until she can find another doctor. It makes no sense that he refused to allow her to get glasses. He told her that her vision was poor but wouldn't give her a prescription. I understand dry eyes need taken care of, but they can be taken care, of while wearing glasses. Totally incompetent Dr. Griffin.

Everyone was nice but I was slightly upset because they asked me to be 15 minutes early, but I didn't get in until 15 minutes after my appointment - so I had to wait 30 minutes to even see anyone. I figured being early would help me be seen at the time of my appointment. Overall good experience, but my advice (if you want to come here) would be to just come on time since you'll be waiting anyway.

Do not bother thinking your going to get help or any customer service. College student Daughter was struggling with vision issues. Gave insurance card number over phone. They waited the TWO week until she came in for her appt. to verify ins. They didn't know they were contracted with this insurance company ( but have been since 2015) told her in middle of appt she wasn't covered and charged her $170.00! Dr. Told her her optic nerves didn't look normal but eh.

No referral or follow up. I called next day to clear ins. Issue. Spent time to have ins. Call and give THEM their CONTRACT number with this ins. Comp. ( the job Carol their billing person should know or be able to figure out)and all reference numbers for ins. Coverage. Then carol was rude and stated they would not refund my daughter the over charge for 60 to 90 days!

This is more than poor service. They had two weeks with our insurance card number to call my daughter back and tell her they may be an issue. Plus once they had insurance verify ( and they did with reference numbers - I was on the conference call) they should have had no issue putting the overcharged amount back on to the card. Rude, poor service, a lack of caring for the patient and unprofessional, to say the least. Super disappointed.

I could not have had a better experience! I chose to have my PRK surgery done at Cataract & LASIK Center of Utah. The staff there are professional but also kind and caring. I'm also very pleased with my results. I highly recommend them!
