The level of care you receive greatly varies on the people who are on the particular shift. I was written off and discharged only to be back with exacerbated symptoms 8 hours later and the different shift had a completely different diagnosis. Upon being admitted, there was a general disregard for sterility, health, and safety. Equipment was broken and left me sitting in puddles of bio-waste that never got cleaned up for the duration of my 3 day stay.

I was regularly ignored by the nursing staff, waiting 2-3 hours on multiple occasions for simple things like refilling my IV bag, leaving me dehydrated during a time where I was unable to drink fluids. They failed to give me my prescribed medicine for 2 days, which they required me to give them upon being admitted. Nurses and Doctors were incompetent and barely spent any time with me, and wanted to keep me there longer so they can milk my insurance for money.

My partner came in from a rehab/nursing by ambulance and the emergency room staff did a great job. But once she went up to the 3rd fl, it was the worst experience I have ever been around. She had a stroke and was bed ridden. Needed to be feed. Pureed food only. None of that was done. I was told by the nurse that family needs to feed her etc, other wise she doesn't get feed. No aide at all. I was there from 10 to dinner and they didn't get the food right until the 3rd day. Never ever again.

Maria was my mother's nurse on the 3rd floor in April 7-April 9, and she was extraordinary. She took great care of my mom, despite having many patients that day. We really appreciate her! *Can't recall her last name, but I know she's Greek lol* Thank you, Maria, for your memorable work! We're appreciate you.

The nurses' bedside manners in the emergency department were deplorable. They really need to learn to treat patients and their families with respect. I was there to translate for my mother and the nurse probably thought I wasn't giving my mother a chance to speak. A nurse told me: "Let her speak!" She cannot communicate if she cannot speak English!

We were never treated this way elsewhere! They really need to learn some social skills and manners! To the person who will be replying to this: No, I will not email you at all!

Arrived @ 9:00 to have my Dad seen. The emergency room nurse Dawn was amazing she took the time to find out what was going on with my Dad and she seemed very genuine and had the best personality for being in a position to care for others This entire ATEAM @ Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center has been nothing but Awesome! The Nurse Christina- Has shown such concern and has been nothing but kind to my Father and I. Dr. Snarski is very detailed and considerate of trying to determine what is causing my Dad the pain and making him weak.

The admitting clerk Amy was very thorough and Felicia was wonderful and Ocean were very helpful. Day Two, Day Shift and Night Shift are really like Night and Day. Started out with a few bumps in the road. Really questioning my decision. Then. Light at the end of this tunnel. Huge shoutout to our nurse Melissa 3South We are in good hands: (My Observation) M- Magnificent Personality E- Empathy L- Loves Helping Others I- Intensely S- Soft Spoken S- Super Sweet A- Attentive Awesome Attitude Thanks Stacy for understanding- We really appreciate you reaching out and going the extra mile. Chris we are grateful for you doing a double take. (Numbers don't lie) Finally, Nursing Supervisor Yolanda!

Damage control and impeccable timing. You Picked up all the broken pieces and SEALED the Deal. Such a kind and understanding person. I will not forget how such a kind gesture made my Dad feel. He was overwhelmed with JOY. Blessings

Still sitting in outpatient registration for an hour while my wife's surgery time was a half hour ago. As a former hospital manager I am appalled. Your patient scores must be in the basement and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

I came in for ambulatory surgery. All the nurses and staff made me feel very calm and comfortable. On the floor, 2W, my nurse, Jessica Lainhart was phenomenal! She helped me through a very hard and painful time. The care and compassion was outstanding! She went above and beyond to make sure my pain was controlled and that I was taken care of. I had a wonderful experience and would recommend her and the center without reservation.

Brought my grandma with chest pain and lower back pain and the attention, bedside manner from the entire staff from the minute walking in the door is nasty. Test getting done but not a Dr. nor a nurse comes out to talk to the patient about the test results or that it will be a long wait time to be seen. It's also interesting how the hospital replies to the good google reviews only but does not inquire about the patients that are giving a complain so the hospital can become a better place

I had to bring a friend into the emergency room. We needed a wheelchair and right away the first person I saw immediately jumped in to action. The woman in Triage also jumped in to action and they both helped my friend get into the wheelchair. They were both so nice. The lady in Triage checked us in quickly. She was very kind. She immediately took us to a room in the emergency area and all the nurses and people involved were super nice and super attentive.

There was a gentleman named Eytan (originally from Israel) who was helping my friend and was AWESOME! He communicated clearly everything that was going on and was also very accommodating and compassionate. He was the BEST! Sharon the secretary at the ER nurse's station was also great! The staff was wonderful. We almost took my friend to St. Mary's Hospital. I'm so glad we chose Palm Beach Garden's Medical. I'm thankful my friend is in good hands.

This is the worst experience I've ever had in my life with professional healthcare institutions. This place should not even be able to operate. Why you ask? - DRs don't communicate with each other - it's like roulette to who you will see and when - DRs are making recommendations without even seeing lab work ( we will send u home today with IV - oh what's the white blood cell count - oh I haven't seen that today?!? ) - They neglected to give me time sensitive meds that I need in the morning til late in the day. - My IV supposed to be giving me meds wasn't even on for four hours ( multiple nurse rounds ). - My heart rate monitor battery was dead half the day This isn't Starbucks - forgetting my meds is not like forgetting the sugar in my coffee. Not everyone here is bad but those should move on not to be associated with this con of a medical facility.

It maybe Covid related. However my mother is currently in there. I had to myself change her wound bandage. The call to the nurse went unanswered. After about 30 minutes. I went out there and asked for tape to secure her bandage. They found it and gave it to me but did not offer to assist. Then I had to find scissors. I again had to ask I was given it by a nurse but no offer to assist.

I was only visiting for at the most two hours. I could hear two patients yelling for assistance. And I also saw a patient get out of her bed and go to the nurses station to try to get help.

Horrid! Doctors, facility 3rd world, just blew my mind how dirty and unprofessional this establishment is. Doctors in ER substandard. Rooms and equipment welcome to the 70's glad I was up on my Tetanus shot with that IV stand. Toilet fittings corroded from urine. Used my mask for just entering and using bathroom, not even a waste can in bathroom, had to take it to the one trash can inside room, not hygienic.

Patient next to me was screaming profanity night and day, ran down hall with her IV stand in her hospital gown free flowing in the back. Never Never Again! Meds administration hours behind average 2-4 hour wait.

The ER and the the hospital have done a very good job diagnosing, treating, and caring for my 89-year old mother with Covid pneumonia. Under unprecedented, challenging circumstances -- with the latest surge in omicron infections & resulting hospitalizations and two years of the pandemic -- these are incredibly stressful times for hospitals and health care professionals, and I'm grateful that my mother has been cared for so well.

I LOVE positive reviews, but this needs attention. Brought to ER by ambulance, the Radiology tech and Doctor were super. But the Nurse assigned to me had no bedside manner. When I was discharged that night, I explained that I didn't know where I was, as I take the bus and walk, and an ambulance brought me. I didn't have money for Lyft and asked how I could get home.

Nurse said coldly "I don't know, but I'm going to wheel you to the lobby and you can figure it out". Without another word, she proceeded to push me in the wheelchair (I was in severe pain from injury) to a crowded lobby and just left me there. Thank God, a kind young man behind the reception desk assisted me. But unfortunately, her unkindness is all I think of when I hear of this place.

The worst Hospital I have ever been in. With the exception of one nurse, all the other nurses are inhospitable. Don't care about or even bother to listen to patients. There are a lot more details of disgust that I could express to the care I was given but I do not have the time to write it all. Just know that I would rather die then ever to go back here again. If I was able to choose NO STARS I DEF WOULD NOT HESITATE GO TO JUPITER

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL! They gave my motherinlaw codeine even though she told them she's allergic; she had a reaction. They sent my son home from the ER after having an asthma attack with no steroid. I asked for it bc it's standard procedure. We ended up back at another doctor 6 hours later. The doctor treating my son seemed like he had a hangover and did not want to be there.

Another visit with my daughter and the intake nurse was clearly hyped on some kind of speed drug shaking, grinding his teeth and moving around like he was out of control. There's literally no point in visiting this hospital even if you are on your deathbed. If you have to go and can not make it to another hospital pray before you walk in the door bc you'll need it.

Do not take your loved one to this hospital if they have Covid. They will not do what your family wants. They will withhold life saving treatments like ivermectin and let your family member die.

If I could give zero stars I would. The Palm Beach medical Center is denying Covid Patients in the hospital ivermectin which is a known miracle drug for treating people with Covid. It's a travesty when you cannot select your own medical treatment. Also, look at how many people have passed away at that hospital. Stay away!

I was in this hospital for an outpatient procedure, everything was okay until the discharge. My surgeon's assistant signed off on my discharge around 9:00 AM and my surgeon came around at lunch time. I was told that I would probably be going home around 2pm. I waited to be discharged until 6pm! Totally unacceptable! No one bother to come by and say what the hold up was! I hope to never have to come back again. I think they held me that long to be able to charge my insurance for the whole day!

Shady. Patient was only at PBG Med Center for a few hours, and yet PBGMC tried to slip in a ROOM AND BOARD charge of $4,284, apparently hoping nobody would notice. But we flagged it, called repeatedly, got them to do an "audit" of their billing, and finally forced PBGMC to acknowledge their sham attempt at billing $4,284. PBGMC now admits it was "invalid." Along with about $5,000 of other charges.

Once I'd made them explain all their fees, they ended up admitting that they'd billed a total of $9,521 in "unsupported charges." In other words, unjustified charges. You can see why the medical system is so broken. PBGMC just slips in things like bogus room and board charges and hopes the patient won't check. I'll always fight for the patient, and for greater transparency in medicine.

Update 2/7/2021 I was contacted by the Hospital complaint department to resolve this issue, and within a few days I was told that they had gotten in touch with the Billing office and their 3rd party Billing contractors to resolve this. I was told I will not receive another bill. I hope this has finally fixed the error. If not, I'll update the review again. ~ BEWARE of BILLING practices: After a 2019 visit, I paid my ER copay in full.

Out of the blue, I started receiving new bills with a different patient reference number in mid-2020. After calling the billing office multiple times, I was sent a letter stating I paid in full. Billing agent said I'd never get another bill. It's now January 2021, TWO YEARS since ER visit and still receiving a new bill regularly. With each bill, I have to call their billing office-- always a 20-60+ minute support call-- which never solves it or seems to have record of the issue from previous calls. It's an endless loop of hassle. I can't imagine it's legal to change a person's id # and then bill again for the same service and provide no means for resolving it.

Last February I spent 3 awful days here. Poor cleanliness, poor bed and room, lack of nurses. This past week I fell and decided to go to Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center because it was closer than Jupiter and I was in a lot of pain. Amazing turnaround.wonderful nurses who were caring and very knowledgeable. The ED department was spotless. The ED rooms were spotless and in perfect condition.

I was in and out of there in a few hours and received the proper treatment. Kudos to everyone, especially Jessica, Ashley and Gina. I highly recommend this hospital in the event of an emergency

Thank God, I didn't come in here dying. Been in the ER over an hour for dehydration, and still don't have an Fluids. This is the most horrible serving hospital I've been to. I'm sure it's not the staffs fault. It's a managers fault and the board of directors! Id rather die. Then come back here.
