Visits are usually quick which is good. The staff all knew I required shoulder surgery and prior to my surgery, I called to let them know I would not be able to travel the 1.5 hour one way trip for my 2-10 appointment since surgery was on 2-7. They assured me that PA Shannon would call me the day of my appointment. She did and also said my meds would be sent electronically to my pharmacy.

On Friday, 2-11, I contacted my pharmacy but no scripts had been sent. When I called back I was told they are not permitted to send the scripts electronically per Dr Smith. I never heard of a doctor Smith. So now, I will be forced to make the three hour round trip this coming Monday! I get that doctors need to be cautious of prescribing control substances.

I never flunked any of their drug tests, never abused my meds, but being denied my meds after surgery is cruel! I am not supposed to drive! I can't put a seatbelt on even if someone else drives me! Yet, now, CSPM is forcing me to break the law! If anyone believes this place did the right thing by not electronically sending my scripts and forcing me to break the law by driving without a seat belt, I would greatly appreciate an explanation as to why it's ok!

Very professional and knowledgeable. Bedside manner second to none. These people work tirelessly to give me the fullest and most meaningful life possible. I really like how they work with the insurance (sometimes difficult) to make sure I get the exact treatment I need.

I love CSPM The only problem I have is twice they have scheduled my appts and when I got there they said my insurance hadn't ok'd it. I live in Rossville and it's a little ride there. Please just give me a call. But everything else is great. I love all the people and drs.

My 75 year old uncle was recently referred to a pain management group in Dalton, Georgia for chronic pain in his back, shoulder, legs, and feet. He is on a fixed income and has been reduced to living in a camper. He has devoted his entire life to his family, his church, and his Career in the carpet industry as many like him have done in the past. He wasn't hardly able to walk around or function as what many would call normal due to the suffering of chronic pain.

Long story short they placed him on some medication that seem to have helped a little, and suggested that he get injections also. He wasn't opposed to the injections, but for a price of $331.00 in addition to the $45 dollar copay and his medication cost he couldn't hardly pay his other bills, even if they placed him on a treatment payment plan. He still would be in an economic hardship!

So he canceled the scheduled injection because of the price and uncertainty of its value of success! Because he can't come up with the extra money that his insurance will not pay, he was terminated from treatment. And has cried all day. Because he felt ok for the first time in a longtime, and now back to physical imprisonment. So I left a message for the office manager to get in touch with me about what his options were?

Even if we had to go and start a go fund me account? But seeing how they treated him I seriously question they ethics and concern for patients well being! Maybe I'm wrong to think they kicked this little old man out to the street because he couldn't pay the extra amount that appears to be above and beyond his financial scope.
