Services
Since we were founded in 1948 by Elwyn Evans, M.D., our mission has been to provide leadership in patient care to our community. In the beginning, we administered free cardiac clinics at the Orange County Clinic and the Florida Crippled Children's Clinic. Our physicians were the primary operators of the first cardiac catheterization laboratory in Orlando.

Millions of people suffer from varicose veins or a more severe disease called Chronic Venous Insufficiency or CVI. This condition occurs when valves in the veins are not functioning properly, causing difficulty for blood circulation back to the heart from the legs. When this occurs a condition called stasis if develops, which is when the blood collects in the veins.

I called this place to make an appointment. First of all, I had to call about 15 times until they answered the phone. Then, I was put on hold for a long time. And finally, the woman that answered the phone was just plain rude. It sounded like she was having a bad day and just wanted to blame everyone for it. Stay away from this place.

It feels like they are there to sell you medical testing. It is one of those places that you are treated badly by the staff because they think coming to work in pajamas makes them superior to you. If you walk in the door. you need a stress test. The parking lot sucks. The spaces are too narrow. On the inside the place is grungy and they have a cluster of chairs in front of the receptionist so you cant get too close.

It looks like they are moving. This is a dirt bag operation that there to sell you testing. The doctor I saw really had no interest in hearing what I had to say. My time meant nothing to them and every time I went there they were 20 minutes late to do everything. If you call. Voice mail. Seems the pajama people are also too good to answer the phone.

Where to begin? When you walk in, you will feel like you're in a time warp back to 1981 with the outdated decor. The waiting room is noisy with patients spread out everywhere. No WiFi either. The medical assistant, Vinessa, was very nice. She genuinely cared when I told her I was stressed. Unfortunately, she was a direct contrast to Dr. Pollak. He was all business from the time he walked in the room.

No care or compassion shown. He spent 5 minutes with me. I definitely felt like just a number, one of many in an assembly line of patients. Dr. Pollak quickly scanned my blood pressure log and dismissed my readings as unacceptable even though my PCP said they were acceptable. He kept asking me questions about what I had already said, as though he wasn't listening at all. He didn't share the EKG results with me either. There is no patient portal, so you will have no idea of your test results.

They are horrible. Only one phone for more than 10 cardiologists. They are basically inaccessible. Leaving messages and no responses. Disorganization total. I got a an ultra sound performed February 15 and cannot get the results as of Feb 24. Do not respect patients at least in my case. One phone number number only. can you believe this? Is it way to avoid direct responsibility? Hopefully a good lawyer might change this unprofessional behavior. Maybe the Board of Medicine should review this practice. I will have to address my complaints to the Board having apparently exhausted all other avenues.

Good 2 years ago. Now appointments take forever to get and complete when you do get. Can never get questions answered through the portal or called back on the phone. Have had my disability insurance stopped two times because I can't get the paperwork filled out. It is worse than dealing with the government.

Today I had a nuclear stress test at the Orlando office of Central Florida Cardiology. I knew going in that it would be around 4 hours mostly sitting and waiting between different phases of testing. Everyone there was super pleasant. They had a greeter with hand sanitizer at the front entrance and chairs were separated so the environment felt very safe.

From the front desk personnel to Sandy who started my IV, then Irene who did my scans and Carlos who performed the stress part of the test, all were kind, caring and patient. Dr. Parikh is always compassionate and has such a calm demeanor unlike other Cardiologists I have seen. I highly recommend this practice.

Doctor Michael Potts was very kind and informative and took the time to answer all my questions. Great personality and a really good person. I've had many disappointments and awful experiences with doctors but this was not one of those times, thank goodness. I'm very grateful for my experience and look forward to my next visit. The nurse and other staff are extremely friendly and helpful too.

So that's very nice for someone with high anxiety and over thinking. :) It is not fun being nervous all the time but it is fun being in a safe and friendly atmosphere with happy caring people by your side and that's exactly what this place is. :)

I have been a patient here for over a decade. Due to doctors moving out of state I am with my third Cardiologist. With the three doctors and their staff taking care of me, I am well and active. The front desk staff, the nursing staff, the technical staff and my doctors are knowledgeable, professional, and committed to my well-being. I have been fortunate to have this Group overseeing my care.

Dr. Potts was was terrific, wonderful bedside manner. He didn't make me feel rushed at all. He took his time and not only answered all of my questions, he gave examples of other topics to make sure I understand 100%. The front desk ladies were nice and helpful and the nurses in the back were nice, understanding and willing to help as well. Nothing negative to say at all.
