The kindest and most professional people are with Astera Cancer Care. The infusion room staff are amazing and keep everyone positive and comfortable through scary journeys. I'm ever grateful I was referred to this practice!

The medical infusion staff at Astara Cancer Care are a wonder group of practitioners. Always concerned about the comfort of their patients and easing the tensions of their clients! I thank them for all they do to support us as we fight this disease.

The Somerset office front desk and nursing staff took care of me like family. Dr. Richards saw me at the Monroe office. He explained to me what was happening to me and the steps to follow in order for me to recover fast and feel better. The Phlebotomist who did my blood work at Monroe office was extremely skilled and I was very impressed also thankful for that. Rena did my intake, Judy scheduled my treatments and Rachel took care of me at the Somerset office.

I saw the nurses continuously cleaning their hands, being attentive to the patients etc. I have to say the nurses who work at the Somerset office are honestly kind and have lots of empathy towards the elderly. There was a patient there who required extra attention and they all took turns helping him. If you or your loved ones are going through a tough time and need people who are knowledgeable, do not hesitate to get an appointment with Dr. Richards, he will definitely help you target the problem and make it better.

Where shall I start! All the staff from front desk, lab, the medical assistants and nurses are all just a true blessing! Everyone is so caring, helpful, and professional. I have been to so many other infusion suites (unfortunately) but Astera Cancer Care is on its own platform with excellence! Thank you to everyone at Astera Cancer Care Somerset office! I truly hope that everyone who needs any sort of infusion will come here! You can thank me later!

My mother was getting chemo treatment here. The doctors were not always on the same accord and just seemed to have a lack of urgency in her treatment/results/ next steps. Even on her last day of chemo there was no recognition or "ringing of the bells" like I have seen happened when other's treatment comes to an end. Just underwhelming in my opinion

I wanted to say how underwhelming and disappointing it was for a family member's last day. It was her last scheduled chemo and it ended like any other appointment. I thought, purely based on what I've heard from others who've completed treatment.physical/rehab therapy, chemo.that the facility clapped, they rang a bell. SOMEthing to indicate. CELEBRATE. the last treatment whereas it was just like leaving any other treatment day.

The 'ring bell/clap' thing wasn't anything that I was told would happen so it's not that it was promised and not delivered. I never even considered that it would NOT be done. There is SO much uncertainty and negativity dealing with cancer and it really makes you appreciate even the little thing so being able to celebrate, in even a small way such as ringing a bell, is something I hope they change.

It's nice for the person leaving but I would also think encouraging for those still in treatment to cheer for others going through what they're going through. On a positive note, everyone we encountered there was always pleasant and professional. Definitely worth mentioning how fabulous both Aimee and Neshama were throughout the whole ordeal.

My husband was diagnosed with HL last year and we were referred to Dr. David Richards. It was a scary and unknown times (plus C19) but Dr. Richards has been proactive and caring. We couldn't thank him enough. The nurses that took care of my husband were amazing too. I felt comfort leaving him at their hands. Thank you for all that you do.
