Initial consultation. Good. 3 months later, after PRK lasik surgery went from 20/400 to 20/20 and couldn't be happier with ALL the doctors.

For 4 weeks I was schedule to see Dr Chang for my cataracts. His office called & cancelled my appointment at the last minute. I had to scramble to find another ophthalmologist. On the day of my cancelled appointment, they called & told me I owed $25 for missing my appointment. They appear to have little regard for their patients.

My son and I have been seen by Dr Lutz for over a year and I am pleased with his kindness, and how detailed and thorough he is in his line of work. His assistant and receptionist are very pleasant and efficient also.

Very happy with my lasik surgery done by Dr. Hufnagel. It's been almost one year and I have 20/15 vision. My only complaint is that the surgery has to be done in the Garden City office (my visits are at the Hauppauge office).

Excellent care, none better. If you require treatment for vision ailments, this is where you need to be and, Dr Chang is the peerless specialist you need to be treating you. Professional and, curtious staff will offer you the best help and, support during your visit.

My first visit and the staff were very friendly. Dr. Werner was very patient and thorough. He was even able to accommodate my lasik date so I could still have my discount. Very busy office but the staff work fast but not pushy. Will continue to recommend.

My eye exam required a follow up exam with a different doctor. Cathy, the office manager was very helpful (and quick) in helping to arrange for the additional exam needed. She followed through with the paperwork and was great to work with!

1. Doctor and staff are nice when they talk to me; 2. I was there on time for my appointment, but waited more than 40min before my eye exam. The waiting room is crowded. 3. My eye doctor before usually ask me to look at different directions while he or she look into my eyes with flash light. Doctors here don't do that. They may have different technique; 4. My eye doctor before dilate my pupils for eye exam. Doctors here don't do that either.

I've had great experiences with my eyecare at Stahl. Dr. Chang is great - he's very friendly and gets things done quickly. There is a bit of a wait at times, but it usually isn't more than 15 minutes in my experience. I've had appointments both at the Hauppauge and Garden City locations, and both offices had excellent staff. I highly recommend Stahl to anyone looking for excellent eyecare from friendly and knowledgeable staff!

Easy from beginning to end. The staff is helpful, efficient and kind. Dr. Werner was awesome. Picked out a nice pair of glasses with ease and help from the techs. In fact, the techs helped a lot in finding things that fit for me. That part was fun. They have great choices for all budgets. My daughter had her eye care here. She tends to lose things so she stuck within her plan and got a very nice pair of glasses that she really likes which I paid nothing out of pocket for (that's huge for a 14 year old). Overall great experience.

I saw Dr. Chang with eye problems that I stated on the office's medical form. After the technician performed routine vision tests, Dr. Chang spent, at most, five minutes with me and didn't ask one question about my reason for the visit. When I asked about my symptoms, he said there was nothing to do about it and it would probably get worse, and we were done.

Then they tried to sell me prescription glasses from their in-house vendor. I don't need prescription glasses and they had nothing to do with the eye problems that I went there about. When I asked the vendor for a copy of the prescription, she said it was "extra work" if I wasn't going to buy glasses from her. I've since spent three months trying to find out if my insurance will cover another ophthalmology visit because I still have the same problems I went in with. Dr. Chang showed a staggering lack of interest and was a complete waste of time.

This is a bad doctor. Instead of explaining you your diagnosis he tells you to look it up in google. The equipment they have is old fashion and some of it causes irritation and inflammation in your skin that never comes out. They don't have accommodation for wheelchair. You will have to go up and down the stairs. The massages last not more than 3 minutes to quickly put you on electric pads for 20 minutes so they can leave you alone and they can do something else, instead of taking their time with you for the massage.

The only thing good about this office doctor is the people that work there, they are nice. even if the massage lasts only 3 minutes. Everything else I do not recommend it. When everything is ok with you, the manager and doctor are all nice. but once you complain to them because something is wrong in their office, the whole office turns against you and their attitude towards you change completely. Do yourself a favor. Stay away from this doctor, you can find a better one for your money.
