Our physicians serve as primary care providers. Our nurse practitioners and physician assistants are licensed professionals who treat chronic conditions, perform physicals, women's health, educate patients on medical issues, and offer care for acute same-day visits. Our team approach offers our patients consistent quality care as our providers routinely communicate with each other on the issues of patient care and the latest breakthroughs in research.

Our nursing staff is an exceptional team of licensed professionals who support our patients by assisting our providers, triaging patient health care questions, helping coordinate care for diagnostic testing and preauthorization for medications, and by monitoring important screenings such as paps and mammograms to keep our patients healthy and thriving.
Services
Dr. Tricia Scott joined Chelmsford Family Practice after completing her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. Her focus is on providing primary care for children and adults. As a resident physician in Family Medicine, Dr. Scott was elected Chief Resident by her peers to serve as their leader, problem solver, and liaison between faculty and residents.
Dr. Nguyen (New-Yen) received her Medical Degree from The University of Utah School of Medicine and completed her residency at University of Massachusetts Medical School. She has experience working with an internationally diverse patient population and also many patients with dual diagnoses such as mental illness and substance abuse.
Lisa Zachert is one of Chelmsford Family Practice's physician assistants. One role of the physician assistant is to educate patients and help them understand and control their own treatment; a second is to diagnose and treat patients who need routine care or need to be seen when sick. Much like a doctor, physician assistants are licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to prescribe medications and order necessary medical tests.
Christina Glorighian is one of Chelmsford Family Practices nurse practitioners. One role of the nurse practitioner is to educate patients and help them understand and manage their own treatment; a second role is to diagnose and treat more common illnesses. Much like a doctor, nurse practitioners are licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to prescribe medications and order necessary medical tests.

Calling to set up as a new patient for my mother. I was asked for her insurance information and they were unable to be in touch with her health insurance provider. I kept calling back to check on the verification process and they said they left voicemail to the insurance company. I said I was able to be in touch with her insurance provider and asked them to call back to verify.

After they verified her insurance, their registration person kept yelling on the phone when she asked questions. When she yelled rudely on the phone "WHAT DO YOU NEED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR!?", that when I had enough and said I would call back later and hung up. I have never seen any office staff that RUDE before! Worst customer service ever! Do yourself a favor and find a better general practice that doesn't yell at patients.

In the end of the day, patients are customers too. I didn't end up making appointments there. Will look for different primary care providers. You'd better go straight to the ER if you need healthcare services, rather than using their services and deal with their RUDE and ARROGANT office staff.

UPDATE: if I could give 0 stars I would. My son needs a realiable pediatrician and they keep cancelling his appointments! Everytime he is sick they give me different doctors ir they don't have time for him! I will soon be changing him to a different doctor The Drs. RNs are not the problem. The problem is how this office is not organized. They give you appointments but do not instruct you on what to do. IE: My son had an exposure to covid, I called the day before for a covid test.

They said my appt would be in the morning. I go there. I call. They said "oh no his appt is through telehealth" I told them no one specified this the day prior. His appt was at 9:45. 15 mins have gone and no text, no call, nothing. I understand they might be extremely busy, but please be more specific so no one wastes their time. It's not them who loose work hours, it's not them who have to call out and miss work because of this. Again, not the dr/rn fault, but they are not organized and by they I mean front desk.

I understand there is an exposure time limit. Which is also why I am seeking a covid test for him especially if I came back negative and I also get tested at my job every 2 days. His old pediatrician would test if the exposure was between 3-5 days especially since my son has asthma. I was told in this office 5 days and I guess every practice is different but please communicate better with the rest of your staff.

If you were dying, and you could dig a ditch right next to your bed. Only to use your last bit of strength to drop yourself in it. That would still be a much better treatment than the one you receive at this place. The reception desk is the worst! Please if you care about your health and not so much about arguing with the front desk. Which then leave you feeling like "I am much better off not calling or going in." Then this is the place for you.

The front desk, swears they can diagnose, tell you what's wrong and tell you what the doctors can and cannot do. While they are stuck at the front desk without the credentials to be a Dr. I have avoided visiting this place for the past 8 + months. Choosing Urgent Care to this place. I don't know how this place can function like this. Where they literally don't care if you live or die.

I would advise anyone to care for your own health. Because this is NOT a place that will care for you. Your health matters too, and if yours matter to you as much as mine does to me. Please save yourself from this "F*ck" place.

Stay FAR away. Planning on switching PCPs after the new year. Among the many grievances I have with this place, this one was the last straw. My seasonal eczema was falsely misdiagnosed as a yeast infection during my yearly checkup, which resulted in me unnecessarily taking anti fungal medicine for weeks. Eczema is easy to treat and I've dealt with it for years, so I was skeptical when they insisted on diagnosing me with a yeast infection.

I felt sick for weeks because I was on an anti fungal medication I should have never been ingesting in the first place. This went on for 2 months-after they denied me a revisit after the medication didn't work, I was referred to Westford Dermatology (also stay FAR away from here) where I received a skin graft that determined I never had a yeast infection to begin with!

At this point, my untreated eczema was so painful it hurt to wear clothes. They offered me a cortisone shot to treat my eczema, which I accepted. Since then however, the injection site has developed muscle atrophy. I've never had a cortisone shot before, which I voiced, and I had no idea this was a potential side effect, as no one told me or warned me about it beforehand.

Because of Chelmsford Family's negligence and initial misdiagnosis, I have to treat muscle atrophy. I'm in my early 20s and may have to start saving up to receive routine dermal fillers to reverse the damage that was done to my skin. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who cares about their health. It's going to be a long time until I ever trust medical professionals again.

After treating with this Dr for over 10 years, I was treated very poorly by one of the staff. When I wrote to Dr. Byrne, he kicked me out of his practice, even though I did nothing wrong. He was prescribing a pain medication to treat the violent pain of Lyme disease. He did nothing to help find a rehabe center to detox from this medication. He did NOTHING for me. He is a cruel man.

Staff is great but I recently had an extremely aggravating problem with the office. My doctor did not schedule any of the tests she said she would, so I had to go to urgent care to get 2/3 of them done. Then I got a call from the office saying they would call me in the next few days to schedule the last test. which was a week ago. Still no word.

The staff in the office truly cares about their patients. I left a bad review expressing my unhappiness about a situation and they were super fast in reaching out and making sure it was all cleared up. Christina and Melissa showed great concern and made me feel valued when I expressed how I was feeling. Thank you so much ladies! Customer service like this is very rare and I admire your effort to make me feel like everything will be taking care of.

I have been going to Chelmsford Family Practice for 16 years. My daughter and I absolutely love Dr. Scott and nurse Heather. They are truly wonderful people who care about you. My son tends to have a crazy schedule because he is in college, so it is easier for him to get last min appointments with Christina, one of the NPs. He said she is great, awesome and really nice.

My husband had an opportunity to meet Dr. Scott, and as a result is now transferring to her from another Dr. office. My whole family is cared for by this amazing group of people. Getting an appointment is never a problem for any of us. The receptions are really nice and patient. The self check-in kiosk allows for easy check-in which frees up the receptionist to answer calls.

I rated this office 3 stars because the doctors, nurses, and staff are great. Everyone seems to be trying their best. However, this office is significantly understaffed for the number of patients they have. The communication from the office is subpar which is unfortunate for patients. Had it not been for the staff, I would have rated the office 0 stars.
