Glaucoma is the leading cause of blindness and visual impairment in the United States. A simple, painless eye exam can detect the disease. With early detection and treatment, glaucoma can usually be controlled and blindness prevented. Glaucoma can affect anyone from newborn infants to the elderly. It has been estimated that up to 3 million Americans have glaucoma.
We provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages. Our services include not only laser vision correction and small-incision cataract surgery but also treatments for a range of conditions such as glaucoma, the diabetic eye, dry eye and macular degeneration. Regular eye exams are an invaluable tool in maintaining your eyes' health by detecting and preventing disease.
Children should have their first eye exam at about age two, although it's never too early to test a child's vision and eye health. Comprehensive eye exams are essential in the diagnosis and treatment of vision problems, injury and disease. Early detection allows for treatment to begin before children experience difficulty in school due to poor vision, or before any permanent damage has been done to the visual system. A pediatric eye exam includes evaluation of the eye anatomy, along with visual function.
We ask that you try to arrive promptly for your appointment. We require 24 hours notice of cancellation in the event you are unable to keep your appointment. Please bring your eyeglasses, contact lenses and a list of all your medications with you on each visit. When you arrive for a routine eye examination, please plan to spend at least one hour in our office.

If you are looking for a new eye car provider, I recommend that you go elsewhere. Save yourself some time and energy, and find someone else. Its actually amazing that they even are in business. The doctor is a exceptionally rude and the service is subpar. For example, I always get bioinfinity brand contacts. They write me a script for the wrong type of bioinifity contacts like bioinifity sport or something.

These are like a 150% increase in cost compared to the normal bioinifity contacts. When I called to ask for a new script, they wanted me to come in and pick it up. I had to nearly start a argument over the phone to have them email me the script. Then, turns out the script was the wrong strength. The doctor gave me a script that was to much in strength.

I ended up getting headaches and nausea and wasting money on contacts that I can't use. I called and complained and they asked me to come back in. The doctor was real short with me and said my one eye needed my original script and my other eye needed the stronger script. Now, my original script was working perfectly fine. I questioned why I couldnt just use my original script and the doctor blew me off saying how they jsut measured me otherwise. The doctor didn't take into account what is easier or more adaptable for the patient. In general, the doctor had a terrible bedside manner.

I am a 74 year old lady who enjoys the gift of good health but avoids going to the doctor. until I absolutely have to! And that is exactly how I found Dr. Schwartz! I did some research on the Doctor and found that his reputation and experience was known throughout the area. I was diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes requiring surgery. My experience with the staff and surgical unit put me at ease during a very scary time in my life.

Just the thought of surgery on my eyes scared the living daylights out of me. But my experience with the medical group led me to giving the techs, the nurses, and Dr. Schwartz their new titles of "My Eye Angels". and I am so grateful that they are here for me.

Dude, there is this one older white woman with glasses and a long face who is the rudest person I have ever met! I was a new patient trying to make an appointment and she was asking so many unnecessary questions and talking like she knew it all and as if I was wasting her time. I asked for a date and she game me one 3 months away, when I called again there was another woman who was so sweet and gave me one a few weeks away. That first lady was so rude and so disrespectful. I wish I got her name. Only went here because I needed a new prescription and contacts quickly. The staff is mostly nice

My husband and I had our first visit few weeks ago l. When I made the appt I advised my hsuband needed his lid evaluated along with an eye examine and they said ok no problem made us an appt. We get there and the dr tells my husband he will need to see a different doctor in the practice for a lid eval. I saw the same doctor he was very cold with his bed side manor and never said anything to me as far as trial pair of contacts. (Which I'm used to getting after a routine eye examine when rx change) After multiple calls on my end I finally found out they ordered the trial pair and I'd be called when they were in.

I picked up the trials and after I got home realized they were 2 left contacts. I was out of town and wasn't able to call right away. I called the office and the gentleman I spoke to was so rude and un helpful. asked me the wrong date of birth, then asked me to confirm the rx on the box. Then proceeds to tell me he has to order a right trial. I said ok but can the right one be mailed to me.

He proceeds to tell me no I need to pick it up. I told him i don't have a vehicle and the price of gas is so high and honestly this wasn't my error. he says well ill have to ask the person that does it with the same rude attitude. Needless to say I won't be going back and will be making my hsuband an appt with Different eye doctor for his lid issue. What poor professionalism and customer service.

Great place! They did a fantastic job on my glasses. I needed the initial pair adjusted - the manager, John, was a tremendous help making the precise adjustments and now my new pair of glasses are perfect! And of course my eye doctor, Dr. Gladnik, is so helpful and friendly. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough!

I love this office. My whole family has had great experiences there and will continue with check ups in this office. Everyone in the office is very friendly and always accommodates my needs. The Doctors there are great and answer all of my questions. I refer this office to all of my family and friends.

My husband went here for his cataract surgery and I was so pleased that they had a strict mask policy for Covid. Dr. O'Connor was wonderful and his two operations were successful. He had also seen Dr. Nowinski for his Graves disease and he was very competent as well. I cannot say enough good things about this practice. All the nurses and the staff were very nice.

Needed an appointment asap for a possible problem. The staff couldn't have been nicer and got me an appointment for the same day. I was very pleased with the service I received both from Dr. O'Connor and his staff.

I was scheduled to have an eye appt at Ophthalmic Associates. I called to discuss my anxiety over wearing a mask during the appt and my fear that my exam may not be accurate due to my anxiety. I was told by the receptionist that the mask doesn't cover my eyes. Really - snarkiness over my concerns? Used to be a great place.

I've been calling for an appointment for over a year. I leave messages and nobody calls me back. After months of no response I finally had to call the regular prescription line to get a hold of somebody for an appointment. When I finally got my appointment I was given a phone call while I was on my way to the appointment saying that they needed to cancel 15 minutes before hand because the doctor wasn't coming in due to an emergency.

So I rescheduled.again. Today I arrive for my appointment which, by the way, is for my two year old. I was assured they had plenty of experience with this age group after I got criticized for not bringing my daughter in sooner. I waited in an eye doctor office for half an hour where there was nothing my two year old could touch or play with. Only equipment.

So I kept my daughter in my lap the entire half an hour. The nurse didn't even seem experienced enough to recommend that I hold my daughters arms down while they check to see if her eyes went up and down. We continued to wait. And then the doctor comes in and tells me she's going to dilate my daughters eyes so they can check her and then she surprised that nobody said anything at my appointment scheduling.

Let's not forget that I have now scheduled this appointment three times and it hasn't been said to me at any appointment scheduling. I asked the doctor what I should do with a child who won't keep sunglasses on her face and with the fact that I was the only parent with her. I had no one to help her in the backseat as I traveled home to make sure that she kept the glasses on or to make sure she wasn't looking at the sun.

Their response was "just tell her not to look at the sun". Have you ever told a two year old to do anything and had them listen? It is clear to me that this practice has zero experience with toddlers and I will never ever be returning or recommending this practice for anything.
